@"Leah M B" Thanks! I will definitely try the lawschool.life forums. I'm far out from the admissions cycle seeing as I plan on doing the September2019 cycle, but will definitely ask the admissions officers at my choice schools.
their reply is going to be -- you can sign up for September2019 in March 2019 or whatever the sign up date for the LSAT is. Just get request a refund for November if you still can.

It’s official now—just got the email. Only the 180 ban is being applied retroactively, all the other take limits are being applied starting with the September2019 administration.
I am glad that they clarified that exams written prior to September2019 do not count towards the total count but at the same time I do not understand this as the LSAC will be losing money asI am sure certain people would choose to write the GRE instead.
Hey I am in the same boat taking the test september2019, but if I retake the test for januaray would I be able to send in the new score to the law schools that I applied to?
PT 88 will actually be the upcoming September2019 administration. As the previous poster commented, July was non-disclosed, so we'll never get to lay eyes on it again (I have mixed feelings about that, as I feel personally attacked by it ;-).
July 2019 should not count towards the 3 since this policy takes effect beginning with September2019 test takers. You can email LSAC to confirm LSACINFO@lsac.org
@givemethatcake I found 85-88 a bit more difficult. The September2019 games stumped as it did for a lot test takers as well. The LR and RC are relatively similar difficulty. The difference in the LR is that the newer exams "SA/NA" are less formulaic.
