If you're applyingtoschools in the states, I don't think you have much to worry about. All the experts seems to agree that most schools only care about your highest score. If you're applying in Canada, you might be negatively impacted.

I'm 30 and not applying for at least another year. Definitely not too old. Have you started studying with 7Sage? I suggest taking a year to really learn the test andapplyingto UT. Don't rush it. It's worth the time and totally doable.

Idk why they would tell you not to apply with that LSAT score unless they only want you applyingtoschools they know you can be accepted to because you're more likely to think highly of them. Fishy....
I'm no expert on this because I haven't taken the test yet but it generally takes about a few weeks to receive your score. So if you were to take the test in July and apply toschools in the fall you will know you score well in advance.
if the July test is anything like every other administration, then roughly like a month or less, maybe 3 weeks. So no, you wouldn't be applyingtoschools before you find out your LSAT score, because most apps open up in September.
