Tone Tasting
Read a passage and name the author's attitude toward the bolded subject. Trains a key Reading Comprehension skill.
About this game
On every passage, you'll have to recognize the author's attitude toward different subjects. This game helps you notice the subtle language that reveals this attitude.
How it works. Each tasting round shows a short passage with one subject in bold. Name the author's attitude toward that subject. Service rounds reverse it: a customer orders an attitude, and one of four statements has it. After every answer, each option becomes a card you can open, so you can ask why any of them was wrong/right. At the end you can review every round you played.
