Eric Hu
InstructorEric is a New York-based jazz saxophonist, an adjunct at Columbia University, and an LSAT tutor of five years. He believes that learning should be approachable and transformative, with tangible, achievable steps toward ambitious goals. He has worked with LSAT students starting from the 120s as well as from the 170s. His most improved student started with a 128 and ended with a 169, and he is equally proud of his students that progress from 172 to 177. Eric is a published academic with articles in leading music education journals. He has a Master's in Education from Columbia University and is currently working towards a PhD in Music Education. When not teaching or writing, Eric enjoys cooking Italian food and playing video games.
Jawan Ali
InstructorJawan is a recent graduate from UCLA and is currently preparing to apply to law school. Before becoming a tutor at 7sage, Jawan spent 2 years working as a substitute teacher in every type of classroom, from kindergarten to AP Calculus, with an emphasis on special education and resource rooms.
Jawan wants to help students "demystify" the LSAT by making it feel familiar and approachable. His approach to tutoring revolves around accessibility and individuality; he believes not only that anybody can master the LSAT, but that there's no one-size-fits-all method. His experience growing up with ADHD, combined with his time as a special education teacher, taught him the vitality of an individualized approach to education. Jawan meets students where they're at, takes extra care to understand their points of view, then tailors his lessons accordingly, helping each student develop their own patented approach to the LSAT's trickiest questions.
When he's not tutoring, Jawan can often be found indulging his passion for movies, whether at an arthouse theater or on the set of a local indie production.

We offer three standard class options:
Accelerated
The Accelerated class walks you through our entire core curriculum in four weeks, giving you the essential strategies to tackle both LR and RC. It's perfect if you need to master the basics in the shortest possible time.
Total Prep Intensive
The Total Prep Intensive is a comprehensive, immersive program for students serious about hitting their target LSAT score. It combines the full core curriculum with more personalized support, including discussion groups and a 4-month subscription to our self-paced platform.
