I worked with both a writing specialist and an admissions counselor, and both were excellent in their own lanes.

My writing specialist was fantastic at the brainstorming stage. I came in with a million different ideas, including a few I was genuinely attached to, and she was constructive but also brutally honest about what would actually land with an admissions committee. She told me plainly when something didn't read well in an essay, and that feedback was both surprising and incredibly valuable. I would not have gotten to my final essays without that.

My admissions counselor was equally great. She was kind, flexible about meeting with me, and supportive even during stretches when things weren't going my way. She's deeply knowledgeable about the space and gave me insight and context I simply would not have had access to otherwise, or would not have understood at the same level without her guidance.

The proof is in the outcome. My cycle did not go the way I hoped at first, but about a month and a half before school started I got off the waitlist at a school I really wanted to attend, and that's where I'm headed now. A lot of that came down to the strategy and advice I got from my counselor: how to approach waitlists, what to send, and when.

If you're a splitter or otherwise in a spot where the numbers alone won't tell your story, this is worth it.

I had an incredible experience working with 7Sage. Dawn Corrigan was my writing consultant, and Elizabeth Cavallari was my admissions consultant. Dawn was extremely responsive and helped me craft a strong personal statement narrative through multiple rounds of revisions. She also helped with my character and fitness addendum, supplemental essays, and a complete overhaul of my résumé, which ended up being very different and much stronger than what my college career center had suggested.

Elizabeth was also extremely helpful throughout the admissions process. She helped me think strategically about my school list, how to approach different outcomes, and how to make informed decisions at each stage of the cycle. Her guidance was especially valuable when it came to managing rejections, waitlists, scholarship negotiation, and comparing schools in a practical way. She was honest, thoughtful, and reassuring throughout the process, which made a stressful admissions cycle feel much more manageable.

Dawn and Elizabeth worked very well together as a team and truly complemented each other’s roles. I felt like I had support both on the writing side and on the broader admissions strategy side, which made a real difference.

As a first generation law student and KJD applicant, I really valued having experienced guidance throughout the process. Their advice made a meaningful difference, and I would highly recommend them to anyone applying to law school.

I had the pleasure of working with Meghann Banacki and Christina Wood for the Fall 2026 Admissions Cycle, and was accepted into several schools with excellent scholarship. I truly believe their patience, guidance, and thoughtful expertise were key in obtaining these results.

Meghann and Christina helped me strategize my approach. I was a non-traditional applicant in many regards. They helped me hone a narrative that suited the context of a law school application. They were extremely responsive-- Meghann was always available to talk over Zoom and Christina had the best insights and action points on my drafts. They were very quick in getting back to me too, which was important as I was on a condensed timeline.

As an Admissions Consultant, Meghann gave me advice tailored to my unique situation. She was realistic and encouraging. I felt reassured throughout my application process that I was in good hands. I could count on Meghann for advice even as I was waiting for decisions, and she was instrumental in my decision to commit to the school that I will be attending.

As a Writing Consultant, Christina helped me discover my voice and really zero in on the heart of my story. She was uplifting and positive in a way that took away a lot of the stress that comes with writing essays. Her discernment was vital in me crafting a narrative package that helped me strike the right tone in my materials.

Overall, I am immensely grateful to have worked with Meghann and Christina, and thankful to 7Sage for giving me the opportunity to do so. It was definitely worth the investment!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Daniel Ryu and Jen Kott this cycle, and I truly could not recommend them more. They were knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in my success.

I had not yet begun drafting any essays before working with Daniel in October, so I felt a bit behind, but he immediately reached out and set up a time to chat and start brainstorming. By around December, I had the majority of my essays completely finished and polished; we went through many iterations of personal, perspective, and supplemental statements, and along with providing timely edits/feedback, Daniel was more than willing to jump on a call when I was having trouble navigating a certain topic or simply needed a sounding board to bounce ideas off of. He also was not afraid to be blunt with his critiques, which I really appreciated! Of course he always had positive feedback, but it was always really helpful to hear what he felt wasn't working, especially when I had looked at an essay so long that I would not have been able to see it myself. Above all, he was extremely knowledgeable about what admissions committees are looking for in each essay (and, importantly, what they are not) that came from his years of experience and would not have been available elsewhere online -- and definitely not as personalized as working with him one-on-one.

Jen was also an absolute gem and invaluable in helping me navigate the admissions process. She was very enthusiastic, supportive, and kind. Especially when I was in the thick of burnout and feeling doubtful of my chances, she was a wonderful cheerleader and was always there to remind me of how far I had come and how much I was capable of. Like Daniel, she had a ton of insider knowledge about how admissions committees assess candidates (being a former admissions officer herself) and I doubt I would have been able to find that same level of expertise and advice tailored to my specific questions and circumstances outside of 7Sage's services. After my applications had all been submitted and I was navigating the waitlist process, she was again very helpful in not only providing moral support but also giving me timelines, deadlines, and recommendations regarding LOCIs and other strategies. When it came time for me to choose a school, I had long conversations with her weighing each one's pros and cons, and she also connected me to current students who could speak to their experience and help me make a more informed decision.

While I did come into this cycle with an LSAT score and GPA that were generally consistent with the medians of most T14 schools, with how competitive this year was, I truly do not think that alone would have set me up for success. Jen's and Daniel's counsel helped me submit applications I felt good about. I feel incredibly lucky to have been accepted to 5 T14 schools and will be attending a T10 school this fall with half tuition. I could not have done it without them!

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Kott this cycle, and I can confidently say she was the best counselor out there to help me navigate my unique application and keep me sane throughout the process. I ended the cycle committing to one of my top choices, a T6 law school, with scholarship money, and I credit Jennifer with a lot of that success.

Jennifer was great at brainstorming, getting creative with the application, and serving as an incredible sounding board throughout an incredibly stressful process. She helped me think through every major decision strategically, from how to present my rather unique background to how to make my application stand out in a crowded field. She was honest, thoughtful, and never gave generic advice. Everything felt tailored to me, my strengths, and the kind of schools I was targeting.

The biggest difference came during the waitlist process. I was waitlisted at a number of schools, and Jennifer went above and beyond the call of duty. She calmed me down when I needed it, gave me an unbelievably detailed waitlist breakthrough plan, and kept me up to date with the admissions trends of my cycle. I was admitted off the waitlist at the school I am attending almost immediately after it opened, and although much of that came from personal drive, Jennifer gave me the tips, strategy, and ideas to make my waitlist advocacy as effective as possible and help me stick out from the masses. Due to her guidance, I also believe I was positioned to clear at least a couple more waitlists (including two T14s) had I stayed on them.

In addition to her expert guidance, Jennifer was incredibly generous with her time. She showed a clear care not only for my application, but for finding the right school for me as an individual. That meant a lot throughout a process that can feel impersonal, stressful, and hard to predict.

I am so thankful for Jennifer Kott and everything she did for me. I cannot recommend her enough, especially if you think you may need extra help navigating a competitive cycle or if you believe you may be a borderline candidate who needs a smart, personalized strategy.

I could not recommend Jennifer Kott more.

I worked with Jennifer Kott and Tony Andrews this cycle. Both were highly responsive and helped me create a plan and realistic timelines that kept me on track throughout the application process.

Jen pushed me to think about what I really wanted out of law school beyond just my chances of getting in. We talked through locations, programs, and school cultures, and she helped me picture what it would actually be like to live and study at each of the schools I considered. This helped me build a school list that felt like my own rather than one based purely on rankings. She even sent me lists of restaurants and places to check out before my school visits. Jen’s knowledge and care made this part of the process feel more deliberate. I believe this early research and reflection ultimately carried through into stronger essays and more confident interviews.

Working with Tony was hands down one of the best parts of my 7Sage experience. He was an incredible sounding board, guiding me to dig deeper into what I wanted to say in my essays. He was always honest when something wasn't working, which brought out my best writing. Most importantly, Tony is a truly kind and thoughtful person. He's easy to talk to, which helped me write honestly about the challenges I've faced and how I've grown from them. Sometimes just talking ideas through out loud with him was what helped me the most. By the end, my essays were among the strongest I've ever written, and I genuinely feel like I’ve become a better writer for having worked with him.

I am grateful for Jen and Tony’s guidance, Ethan’s support and quick corrective actions when things weren’t working for me, and Alex’s careful eye for detail in proofreading. I was accepted into multiple T14 schools, and I'll be attending my dream school this fall. I recommend 7Sage Admissions, especially Jen and Tony, to anyone looking for personalized support in the law school admissions process.

I had a wonderful experience working with my writer, Dawn, and my admissions consultant, Jen! I was ultimately accepted to my dream school, and I truly couldn't have done it without them.

Before signing up, I was concerned about some reviews mentioning delayed responses or impersonal service. However, my experience was completely different. Both Dawn and Jen were VERY supportive, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. They helped me develop the overall direction of my application, refine my narrative, and present the strongest version of myself. Beyond those major questions, I also had countless questions, often driven by my own anxiety, and they always took them seriously. I never felt like just another client; they genuinely cared about my application and approached it as if it were their own. Their guidance reduced a tremendous amount of uncertainty and stress, allowing me to focus on strengthening my application and pursuing meaningful additional activities.

Most importantly, they kept me motivated when I was ready to give up. I was placed on multiple waitlists and nearly decided to withdraw from them and focus entirely on reapplying. But they encouraged me to continue my waitlist efforts, reminding me that the required work was relatively small compared to the potential upside. Looking back, they were absolutely right; I was eventually admitted off the waitlist to my dream school!

They were knowledgeable and helpful, but also genuinely delightful to work with. I'll always be grateful for their support during what was one of the most stressful and challenging periods of my life. I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for guidance throughout the admissions process, and I especially recommend Dawn and Jen. They were simply outstanding.

Brigitte (my admissions counselor) and Kristen (my writing tutor) made the admissions process incredibly easy for me. Their knowledge of the process made what could have been an overwhelming process very straightforward. They let me push my essays in the directions that I wanted but provided helpful tips and feedback at all times. Their turnaround time was incredible and I was able to work at the pace I wanted. I applied to 15 schools and was accepted at 11, waitlisted at 3, and only rejected from 1. I could not have asked for a better cycle and could not have achieved the results that I did without Brigitte and Kristen's help!

I worked with Shamala Gallagher and Sam Kwak this cycle, and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Both were, without fail, quick to respond to emails and readily available for calls. With their help, I was admitted to multiple T-14s and T-20s, most of which offered major scholarships (ranging from 60% to full tuition).

Shamala gave consistently good guidance, and my essays were much stronger for it. Further, I always felt she genuinely cared about helping me succeed. I came into the cycle with a strong sense of what I wanted to write about, and Shamala's feedback helped me tell my story in a more effective way.

Sam was equally helpful. He is a tough judge who gives his honest opinion, which you should look for in an admissions consultant. Many times, he took issue with my essays and sent me back to the drawing board – and he was right to do so! My resume (which I thought was strong beforehand) ended up dramatically more professional and effective through his critiques.

7Sage isn't cheap, but law school admissions is competitive. For me, their service was worth the cost.

In sum, Shamala and Sam were great to work with, and I would encourage future applicants to request them without reservation. No one can guarantee you a successful cycle, but take it from someone who was in your shoes a year ago: you won’t go wrong with Shamala and Sam.

This past cycle I had the privilege of working with Dawn and Brigitte and I am so beyond grateful for their incredible guidance throughout the entirety of my law school admissions process. From the very beginning, they were supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me present the strongest application possible.

As a reverse splitter, I entered the admissions cycle feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how to approach many aspects of the process. Dawn and Brigitte helped break everything down into manageable steps and walked me through the best strategy for each document and application component. The process always felt collaborative; they offered thoughtful, experienced advice while remaining completely open to my own ideas and perspective.

What stood out most to me was how intentional they were about making sure my application truly reflected who I am as an individual. Rather than simply checking boxes, they took the time to understand my experiences, goals, and voice. They reassured me throughout the cycle that I was a strong candidate for many of the schools on my list, which gave me a great deal of confidence during an otherwise stressful process.

Their attention to detail was invaluable. They caught nuances in application wording that I never would have recognized on my own and consistently encouraged me to expand on experiences and themes that ultimately strengthened my essays. Throughout the entire cycle, they regularly checked in on my progress and were always available to answer questions or provide guidance.

Thanks to their guidance and constant encouragement throughout this process, this fall I will be attending one of the top law schools on my list with a scholarship. I could not be more pleased with how my admissions cycle turned out and I am incredibly grateful for their help. I would highly recommend their services to anyone navigating the admissions process.

This cycle, I worked closely with Kory Hawkins and Shamala Gallagher. I had a wonderful experience with both of them.

From brainstorming through drafting, reviewing, and finalizing my essays, Shamala played a key role in helping me select and refine my story. Shamala didn’t write anything for me; rather, her guidance and feedback assisted me in identifying and rewriting components that weren’t working. The end result was exactly what I wanted: the strongest possible iteration of my essays, written in my voice, telling a story that was not only authentic but felt personally meaningful, like a deep and intimate snapshot of who I am. Also, Shamala is just a clever, fun person to work with. I highly recommend her!

Kory’s feedback was critical both in writing my essays but also to the entire admissions process. He acted as an expert minesweeper, guiding me through the treacherous terrain of essay content, successfully leading me to avoid risky topics while emphasizing my most impactful experiences. In approaching the broader admissions process, his advice helped my manage my expectations in an extremely competitive cycle, focusing on realistic but still attainable stretch goals. Ultimately, his past experience as an admissions officer at Columbia played a key role in preparing me for the interview and securing an offer.

As a second-year re-applicant, I saw the 7Sage difference – this year I received multiple admits from T14 schools and a full-ride offer from a T20 school, none of which I received last year. Nothing changed EXCEPT I rewrote my essays with Kory and Shamala in my corner, backing me up. I have nothing but gratitude to them for helping me refine my story and secure admission to one of the best law schools in the country.

I worked closely with Shamala and Brigitte, and both were incredible—very responsive, flexible and generous with their time, and I’m so grateful for their support throughout this entire process. I came into the admissions cycle as a splitter with a lower LSAT score, so I knew my essays needed to be as strong as possible. Shamala helped me craft polished, authentic essays that truly reflected my story and strengths, often through multiple rounds of revisions.

As the first person in my family to go to law school, I was unfamiliar with many parts of the admissions journey. Brigitte was incredibly helpful in explaining the behind-the-scenes aspects of what admissions committees are really looking for and gave me so much clarity and confidence throughout the process. Her guidance was especially valuable when it came to interview preparation and understanding things like scholarships, waitlists, and strategy overall.

Thanks to their guidance, I received offers from multiple T14 law schools and will be attending a T4 school this August. I would absolutely recommend 7Sage Admissions to anyone looking for personalized support which can really help you send out the best possible version of your application.

This cycle, I worked with Daniel Ryu and Jennifer Kott. I could not recommend both of them enough! Daniel helped me to write my essays, and he was incredibly thorough with his recommendations and brainstorming help. He was also very quick with his responses- he would get edits back to be within a day, and often was able to hop on a call within an hour of me asking. He was truly essential to my writing process. We did so many brainstorming sessions and I am so happy with the way my story came together! Jennifer was also extremely helpful in this process in providing an admissions-standpoint view on my essays as well as the rest of my file. She was very quick in responding to my questions and made many reviews on my many essays. This team was an essential part of my application process and gave me the results I wanted-- attending UVA as a kjd!

I worked with Shamala Gallagher as my writing tutor and I couldn't be happier with the support she gave me throughout the admissions process. Not only is she a lovely human being, she is also an incredibly talented writer! She helped me immensely with my personal statement; without her I wouldn't have known where to start! Shamala was extremely helpful with brainstorming the story I wanted to tell through my personal statement, while also making sure everything was my own original writing. She was always willing to meet with me to discuss my ideas, review essays, and revise revise REVISE. For each individual school she made sure to take into account the big picture and the story I was telling through my essays. I am almost certain that I wouldn't have gotten into the law school I will be attending this fall without Shamala's guidance! 10/10

This cycle, I worked with Dawn Corrigan and Susan Cersovsky and I could not be more pleased with the expert advice and help they provided me.

I came into the cycle as a huge splitter (sub 3.3 GPA), and I knew I needed perfect essays to have a shot at the top schools. For this reason, and because 7Sage offers dedicated writing consultants in addition to experienced admissions consultants, I chose to work with 7Sage over several other consulting groups.

Dawn and I worked together on each of the most important documents (personal statement, perspective statement, resume, various C+F addenda), going through multiple rounds of review and revision until each document was perfect. I so appreciated her quick and thoughtful feedback throughout!

Moreover, it was incredibly helpful to hear from Susan about what admissions officers are looking for and how they read applications; I was able to incorporate her advice throughout my essays as well.

This fall, I am attending a T-14 with a nearly 2/3rd's tuition scholarship. I was also offered admission to two T-20 law schools.

Thanks again, Dawn and Susan - you guys are the truly the best! I am so grateful to have worked with you this year, and I would 100% recommend your services to others!

I had a great experience working with Daniel Ryu as my law school admissions writer. From the start, Daniel took the time to understand my perspective and goals going into law school. While writing my essay, I felt that he had a strong grasp of my motivation for law school and helped me tell a compelling narrative. He also pushed me through multiple rounds of revisions, which was difficult, but each time I could tell my essay had gotten better. Thanks to Daniel's guidance, I feel confident that I maximized my narrative for admissions. I received multiple law school acceptances with substantial scholarship offers. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, invested writing partner through this process.

As an applicant with C&F concerns, I was convinced to use application counseling to better navigate the specific considerations that come with C&F. Though I believe that my writer did a great job proofreading my work and assisting me with brainstorming topics for my various essays, I feel as though I lacked a truly cohesive and all-encompassing application strategy that took into account my unique candidacy and my college experiences. Additionally, I feel as though I did not gain much specific insight into this year's application cycle and its nuances. I am ultimately very happy with the school I am going to, but I am not sure that paying the significant sum of money that comes with being a 7Sage client significantly changed my cycle results or gave me significantly more insight into the law school admissions process.

I am so grateful that I decided to get assistance from 7Sage admission consultants. I had Brian Booker (writing consultant) and Josh Brooks (admissions). Both consultants were extremely kind, responsive, and incredible at making a stressful cycle manageable. Brian is such an incredible person to brainstorm ideas with and has an amazing ability to help transform drafts into a product I was so proud of (without feeling that my voice was ever lost). Josh was always available to answer my constant questions about the process and provided invaluable insight into how admissions boards view applications. I had slightly below average LSAT scores for the T-14s and was accepted by two T-14 schools! I really cannot recommend this service enough and these consultants in particular.

I worked with Jennifer Kott (admissions) and Daniel Castro (writing) for the 2025-2026 cycle! I am so incredibly grateful for all the support and guidance they provided throughout the entire 8 months -- at the start of it all, I was deeply insecure about my chances, which hindered my writing. Jennifer helped me strategize and shape my applications, while Daniel guided me to think more deeply and bring out my story. Both consultants were always quick to respond to my questions, everything from the initial planning stages in the summer to my scholarship packages in early March. Jennifer is incredibly knowledgeable about the schools and (especially) their locations -- she's recommended so many places for me to try around the two T6s I'm choosing between. Daniel is super precise and I was always grateful for his comments on my essays, which helped me dig deeper into my reasoning and sharpen my answers for different supplementals. Another note: having their support and guidance meant the world to me, as I was also studying for the September LSAT and working full-time during the cycle.

Lastly, shoutout to Jonathan Gharraie (who I initially worked with) as well for helping me with my personal statement!!

I highly recommend working with Kristen Gleason as a writer! I came into the applications process very nervous and uncertain of the direction I wanted to go in, and Kristen was absolutely invaluable in keeping me grounded and helping me navigate the writing process. She was very kind and supportive and, while I was still always in the driver's seat, she wasn't afraid to tell me if my ideas wouldn't help my application in a broader sense or if my fears were unfounded. I would absolutely work with Kristen all over again.

I greatly outperformed my stats this cycle. Out of the 5 schools I chose as "7Sage schools" in my package (all T14s), I was accepted into 3 of them (two of which are T6s!) and used similar materials to what I crafted with Kristen's help to get into 3 additional schools (2 T14 and 1 T20).
