Students most often praise study plans built from their individual analytics, concrete Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension strategies, and support between sessions — recaps, custom drills, and quick answers by email. The most common criticism, even in five-star reviews, is the price: tutoring is 7Sage's most expensive option.

Will Harding has been my tutor for the better part of 2026, and the help I've received from him has been nothing short of amazing! This was actually my first time ever getting a tutor, growing up without the means of affording one. I was very nervous and anxious, and he was very kind, patient, and communicative about the process and ways that he could tailor my learning exactly for what works best for me.

After 3 hours of tutoring, we decided that a Coach subscription would suit my needs. I received weekly emails with "homework," basically giving me exactly what I needed to drill and study. This removed the planning out of the equation for me, and as a non-planner it was a huge help. I was able to solely focus on practice, learning, and drilling, while Will took care of my analytics and guiding me towards working on what I needed to learn to best succeed.

Not only did he raise my confidence, he even set me up best for my application cycle by encouraging me to write the August 2026 administration. This now gives me the advantage of being able to apply early! I would not have signed up for the August LSAT without Will's advice.

The 7Sage Coach subscription is definitely something to consider for anyone like me (with ADHD) who struggles with planning/scheduling. My Coach was able to give me my routine, and I was happy to execute it. As a bonus, there is a substantial discount to the subscription for LSAC Fee Waiver holders. Thank you everyone!

I had a great experience working with Dylan Rispoli. He was extremely organized, thoughtful, and responsive.

He was especially helpful in showing me how to make my LR approach more efficient under time pressure—when to diagram, when to prephrase, how to quickly identify the key gap in an argument, and how to avoid overworking questions. He also gave me clear post-session takeaways and targeted drills so I always knew exactly what to work on afterward.

What stood out most was how encouraging he was. He’s the type of tutor who is genuinely invested in his students’ success, and it was a pleasure working with him!

We're so happy you enjoyed working with Dylan!

Ainsley was AMAZING! During our consultation we talked about the specific things I wanted to work on and she was able to give guidance about aspects that I hadn't even considered. Working with her allowed me to practice skills, develop a study routine that actually worked, and increase my confidence on test day. If you're on the fence about getting a tutor through 7sage, let this be your sign!! So so worth it and so beneficial.

Thank you for the kind words, Joanna!

I had an incredible experience with Mohab Shahin as my tutor. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the entire process. He genuinely cared about my progress and took the time to understand my individual strengths and weaknesses. Mohab also never failed to make sure I had all the materials I needed after each study session. Throughout the week, he was always responsive whenever something came up while I was drilling outside of our session hours, and was incredibly detail-oriented.

Mohab was always patient, encouraging, and great at explaining difficult concepts in a way that actually made sense. He created a kind environment where I felt at ease asking questions and working through mistakes. His guidance and support made a huge difference in my confidence and preparation for the LSAT.

I would highly recommend Mohab to anyone looking for an LSAT tutor who is not only excellent at teaching the material but also genuinely invested in his students’ success!

So glad Mohab could make such an impact! We're wishing you all the best for test day.

My tutor was Robert Carlson!

I graduated college 10 years ago, so while working with a tutor felt like a great way to get me into student mode, I was also nervous to work closely with someone while feeling so out of practice. But 7Sage couldn't have paired me with a more patient or insightful teacher.

First of all, Robert is very, very smart. This would have been intimidating were his intellect not combined with a genuine kindness and adaptability that I expect will serve him very well as a lawyer. He's an intuitive teacher, knowing when to let me explain my thought process and when to take the mic. His tailored recommendations on how to study and how to approach RC are responsible for a huge score jump in my PTs. Another thing that struck me was how respectful he was of our time - he was always prepared for our sessions and had us hit the ground running from the moment the zoom started.

7Sage's self-study curriculum is incredible, but there are some LSAT questions that, were this a college course, I would have stayed after class to argue with the professor about. If that's how you learn, or if you've hit a plateau or are on a time crunch, I highly recommend working with a tutor. Robert's off to the #1 law school in the country but I assume they're all wonderful!

This is such a wonderful review, thank you! Robert is incredibly talented and we're so glad he made the process feel comfortable and efficient.

Himaja tutored me on short notice just two weeks before my exam. Her advice was super helpful, and helped me a lot with LR. She was also super encouraging. Her tips and strategies for LR were very useful, but so were her tips on confidence, test day strategy, etc. Would highly recommend her!

Mridula was a wonderful and intentional tutor that took her time to make sure that I had the most knowledge going into my exam as possible. I felt 100x more informed after finishing my sessions with her and knew that she had done everything she possibly could to help shape and transform how I approach this test. She was so patient and understanding and as someone who came into this process knowing absolutely nothing about this exam, it had full faith that she would continually have an answer to my questions and often times take the extra mile in making sure that I was able to reason through the tip and processes that she supplied me with. I could not have felt this confident if it was not for her and I am grateful that the pairing system matched me with the right tutor for me in every aspect.

So happy to hear that Mridula was such a great match!

I had the absolute pleasure of being tutored by Katie Mae Rials for the past two months (30 hours). She was not a literal genius that made the lsat digestible and deeply understandable. She came prepared each and every session with a plan of action, and helped me implement a realistic plan every week to reach my goal of improving my score on the LSAT. She knows the material front to back, helped me see things that I hadn't previously seen with every single question, and pushed me to get the confidence I need for test day. Katie also was always available when I needed her. Towards the end I wanted to increase my scheduled time during the last couple weeks and she made the time in her busy schedule to incorporate our tutoring sessions. Not only did she give me tangible lsat advice and strategies she also helped me realize undertake strategies to help with my nerves come test day as well as a plan of action leading up to the test. She has made me feel so supported as well as helped me tremendously to gain new skills that I would not have been able to gain on my own. She is firm, but patient something that I deeply appreciate. Very real, and incredibly down to earth. I am going to miss our times together as they were the highlight of my weeks. KATIE DESERVES A RAISE!!!!

Thank you for this thoughtful review! Katie is truly amazing and we're so glad she was able to help you improve on the LSAT.

A huge shoutout to Elle Nicholson! She was a wonderful tutor who was immediately able to pick out where I was going wrong and what I needed to improve on in order to ace the LSAT. She was incredibly professional and encouraging and made me feel much more confident about taking the LSAT.

I went from flip-flopping from low to high 160's on Preptests to getting a 174 on the actual LSAT. I would definitely recommend her to anyone feeling stuck in the 160's, sometimes you just need an outside perspective.

Huge congratulations on the 174!! We're so glad tutoring was able to help you get there.

Aseman was fantastic! She created a great study plan for me to follow and explained the things i was struggling with clearly. She is very kind and considerate when it comes to things that may come up in your personal life, which allows for flexible scheduling and understanding. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for an LSAT tutor.

I had an amazing experience with Jacob Bishop! I needed a lot of help with understanding Necessary Assumptions and Conditionals, and he really simplified the material making it easy to understand and leaving room for me to ask questions. I also appreciated how supportive he was, and never once felt judged for not understanding the material. I feel like we tackled a lot of tips and tricks during the sessions and overall I got insight into things I didn't notice before and didn't think would be as relevant but turned out to make a huge difference in my understanding.

I Had a great experience working with my Emily Baschab. She was fun, easy to work with, and made what can be a very stressful process feel much more manageable. She helped me stay motivated and avoid burnout, and she made my study plan much more efficient and focused. She took a personalized approach to helping me.

I genuinely enjoyed our sessions and always felt supported and encouraged. Her approach made a big difference in how I studied and how confident I felt going into the exam. Ultimately, I saw real improvement in my score, which I strongly credit to her guidance.

I would highly recommend her to anyone preparing for the LSAT who wants both effective instruction and a positive, encouraging experience.

I'm so lucky to have had Aseman as a tutor! I genuinely looked forward to every session. She put so much time and effort into analyzing my strategy and identifying areas of improvement. She pushed me to articulate not only why the right answer was right, but also why each of the others were wrong. With her help, I substantially changed how I approach the test and learned lots of helpful techniques.

I truly feel so lucky to have had Michael Tashman as a tutor. After months of studying and trying to brute-force my way to my goal score, I finally decided to invest in tutoring with only a few weeks left until the June LSAT.

When I initially met with Michael, I had recently broken into the mid/high 160s, with a goal of 170. By the end of our 10 sessions (around a month and a half), I had two in the 170s. Michael did a fantastic job of recognizing exactly where I was struggling, despite my relatively consistent accuracy percentages. Instead of forcing a study plan that worked against my natural habits and how my mind works, he met me where I was and tailored his approach to what was already working for me.

And of course, he made it fun! I genuinely looked forward to our sessions and felt bittersweet when they came to an end. While I don’t have my official results from the June test yet, I walked out of the test center feeling surprisingly confident. I believe I called my mom after and cautiously mentioned that "it felt easy?" I really don't think I could be at this point without Michael's help.

Jared is a fantastic tutor! He is incredibly smart and moved at a quick pace that worked well for me. The structure he provided during my last month of studying was exactly what I needed to push through. Thank you for everything Jared!!

Thank you for the kind review!

My tutor was Michael Tashman.

I really appreciated his preparedness. In our first session he laid out an ENTIRE roadmap for our following five. He used that same program to organize my needs and our lesson plans. After each session, we would summarize what we worked on with strategies to help me on the exam. This was so helpful. I would never forget what I learned because I'd always be able to refresh my mind. Michael's study program would them advise me on questions to drill. I also enjoyed that he made himself available between our tutoring sessions and even after them! I only wish that I had more time with him. I am thoroughly impressed with 7sage's tutoring. Of course, I'll always dislike it's insanely steep price but it was worth it.

Now, it is up to me to use what I've learned to fill the chasm of weakness in my logical reasoning. I'm certain that I won't but I'm glad this service exists for others who are more capable than I am.

I worked with Abby Davis for tutoring & she was amazing! It was so helpful to be able to break down the question types I needed the most assistance with. She helped me find a good study plan that worked with my schedule & I saw such an improvement in my study routine and my practice scores!

T-6 weeks before test day in June and I was hitting a plateau in my score (mid 160s). I had been self-studying with the Core since late November and did not feel confident that I could hit my target without help. T-5 weeks before test day and I met Katie Mae, who immediately put together a strategic plan for a last month crunch, alleviating my stress within a 30 minute intro. T-4 weeks before test day and I had already broken into the next score bracket. We transitioned my focus from the big PT number to section scores, allowing me to focus on consistency and in-section timing. T-2 weeks before test day and Katie Mae helped me transition from lower section scores to higher ones (finally hit -1 and -2 consistently). We talked through blind reviews and made sure my explanations for answer choices followed strong lawgic. I honed my skills in identifying red-flag language (all, never, most, likely) to ensure better detail-oriented AC selection. T-1 week before test day and Katie Mae helped me navigate through test week nerves and panic through validation, generosity with her time, and genuine compassion. Throughout my journey, Katie Mae has been a voice that I trust, which in just 5 weeks is quite difficult to foster. T-3 days before test day and I finally feel confident that I am capable of the score I want. Thank you Katie Mae for everything!

Absolutely loved reading this. Good luck on test day!

My review is for Dillon Chaney, who tutored me for a few sessions and helped me hone in on big ticket weaknesses. I love that he always came very prepared for each session with a plan to tackle all of my hot spots, with the perfect mix of questions which would both challenge and teach me the most widely applicable skills to implement on test day. We we able to cover both LR and RC across our sessions, and I always left much more confident going into my independent study, and I've been seeing the fruits of these sessions materialize as I continue to drill. I fully recommend Dillon's LSAT prep services. Thanks, Dillon!

Luc Fabing was a very helpful tutor! I improved by 10+ points by working with him over several tutoring sessions. His explanations were clear and useful, and he helped me identify question types I personally struggled with and drill those types effectively. I highly recommend Luc Fabing as a tutor.
