Yousuf was an amazing tutor. He helped me be able to figure out how to navigate question types. Honestly in the beginning I was not confident in myself and the answers that I picked. I always second guessed myself and did not know why an answer choice could be correct or inccorect. Yousuf was always positive in guiding me and never gave the answers away. He always made sure that I knew what the passage said and what the question was asking. I like how he gives a slight lecture about a question type and then asks me what I learned afterwards. It made the tutoring session more engaging. My sister has listened in on our tutoring once and she stated that he seemed like a kind person. I have definitely improved accuracy wise. I would recommend him to others.

Chris was a great LSAT tutor. He especially helped me with time management strategies. Chris shows up to lessons prepared, stays on track, and provides lots of valuable feedback. I'd recommend him to others preparing for the LSAT.

Maurice has been an excellent tutor that really adapted to my style of learning. He is professional, personable, and very knowledgeable. He obviously knows this test inside and out.  He really helped me understand LSAT questions and refine my strategies. When my score still wasn't budging and I had hit a plateau, he evaluated my overall testaking strategy and helped me plan how to structure my test time. This was the breakthrough I needed. I dont think I would have gotten past my block if it weren't for him. My official test score jumped by 8 points (164-172). This is my third time taking the LSAT and I cannot overstate how different this time felt. Working with Maurice gave me the confidence and strategies to master the mental game of the LSAT, and I am sure that confidence affected the outcome of the test. I highly recommend him to other 7sage students. 

Michael Baturin was a phenomenal tutor who always came prepared and went the extra mile making sure I was working on and improving across the right areas. He was very accommodating, easy to work with and learn from, and he went out of his way to make sure I was ready, composed and confident for test day. I credit much of my 14 point increase to his help (157 to 171 in only 3 months). I cant recommend him enough, God bless!

Kennedy was an insightful, adaptive, and attentive tutor. She went above and beyond and was wonderful to talk to and spend time.

I've taken different kinds of LSAT tutoring, both group and private, and none have given me the confidence to say that they have had a significant effect on how I study and understand the information on the LSAT. Given this, I was a bit hesitant heading into 7Sage tutoring with Chris. However, it only took one lesson to feel reassured that I would 1. improve my score, and 2. get a better understanding of the LSAT's concepts. Chris is extremely knowledgable of the LSAT, but what I feel makes him stand out and valuable as a tutor is his ability to narrow down concepts that I personally have difficulty with. Studying for the LSAT can become extremely time consuming and daunting, but having the guidance of someone who can instantly recognize your weak points and teach you how to work around them has been an experience I cannot recommend more for students struggling with the LSAT. I cannot stress more that he is a great tutor — patient, understanding, quick to pinpoint weak spots, and effective at explaining. Sitting in the discomfort of misunderstanding or confusion is an experience I feel all LSAT students may become avoidant of, but the discomfort becomes exponentially less intimidating under the guidance of a wonderful tutor like Chris.

At first, I wasn’t really sure if or how LSAT tutoring would help me, but after my very first session with Chris, I knew I was in great hands. Chris is like the LSAT Doctor! He can immediately identify what you’re struggling with and knows exactly how to help you fix it. He has years of tutoring experience under his belt, and it’s clear that he is incredibly dedicated and effective at what he does. On top of that, he is genuinely kind and truly wants to see his students improve. You can tell that he cares about your progress and wants you to succeed. My score improved after just one session, and after working with him over multiple sessions, I saw even more significant improvement. I couldn’t recommend Chris enough to anyone looking to improve their LSAT score!

Abby Davis was the most wonderful, supportive tutor. I needed that external support to help identify where my reasoning was breaking down in the exam, and her patience and thoughtful approach to instructing was perfect. By the time our twelve sessions were up, I knew the test inside and out, and I credit her with the final score boost that I saw.

I went from averaging 169 PT to a 176 official score the first time I took the test. Thank you Abby!!!!

Eric Wang is AWESOME! He was kind, patient, and laughed with me as we worked through practice questions. By challenging how I justified wrong answers, he helped identify my weaknesses and provided me with tricks to correct those deficiencies. Eric was also flexible in scheduling between time zones and around my full time work schedule. I'm still working on improving my score, but our sessions left me with some good frameworks for how to approach self-studying and review. By virtue of being forced to explain my thoughts to someone else (now my stuffed animals), I feel way less passive in approaching the LSAT. It was uncomfortable at first, but made me much better at understanding and correcting my flaws. Huge thanks to Eric, again!

-1 star only because service is deffff expensive and I could have attained the aforementioned frameworks out of fewer sessions, but also there was a lot of benefit to working through problems with a tutor who grew familiar with my mistakes over time, too!

Claire was a great tutor and really helped me develop my approach to the test. She did a great job helping me identify my weaknesses and after just a few sessions, my confidence had grown and my scores improved. She was a great communicator and offered many tips and tricks that made it easier to navigate the exam.

Benjamin Nayman helped me study for 4 months, and I saw a 10-point increase in my LSAT score, along with an even deeper understanding of the material and consistently high blind review scores. I definitely recommend working with Ben! If you’re looking for someone who can walk you through the reasoning process, help you understand how to approach questions, and teach you to think like an LSAT pro, I highly recommend him. I had a great experience working with him!

Sean Gallagher was a very effective and supportive tutor. I had reservations about learning over zoom, but the technology he used and the way he used it was seamless and productive. I can’t recommend Sean as a tutor enough.

David Cutie is the G.O.A.T. of tutoring, and I cannot recommend him enough!

Going into 7Sage tutoring, I was skeptical. I had tried a few other tutors and none of them stuck, and I took the August LSAT feeling unprepared and lacking confidence. I decided to buy 10 hours of lessons and see what would happen. Best decision I made in my prep.

From our first session, it was clear David really knows his stuff. He is incredibly easy to talk to, and he explains things through real world, conceptual examples that make even the most complicated ideas click. He breaks everything down into pieces that are super easy to digest, and he has multiple ways of teaching every approach and methodology, so any topic could make sense to me. He never made me feel bad for not understanding something, always stayed positive about my outcomes, and was honest and realistic about what it would take to reach my goal score.

I walked into the October LSAT with so much more confidence, and it felt like a completely different test. The strategies David gave me made a drastic impact on my performance. He told me exactly what I needed to do to succeed, and I could not have done it without his help. If you are on the fence, book him. GOAT.

I worked with Jack Maniaci and he made all the difference in my test prep. After self-studying for the LSAT the first time, I was burnt out and also unsure of exactly what to focus on to improve before my next test. Jack did a great job of diagnosing my weaknesses and did an even better job of helping me improve my accuracy and efficiency on the test.

In only 10 hours of working together, I was pleased and pleasantly surprised at the growth in my confidence and test taking ability. I wish I had just worked with Jack from the time I initially began studying for the LSAT!

Helena Belzer is a GENIUS, and I would recommend her to anyone!! She played no games, which is exactly what I wanted. She was incredibly receptive to what I needed from a tutor: clear, direct instruction and an identification of exactly what I was doing wrong. Helena spent so much time analyzing my performance data to identify patterns in my mistakes and developed clear, targeted strategies to correct the errors in my reasoning. She gave me the tools to improve my score quickly and made me feel so confident going into test day (today!).

Beyond her obvious kindness, Helena became genuinely invested in my growth. She continually challenged me to rethink my reasoning, even when I got the answer right, to strengthen my understanding of how the test works. She really understands the LSAT, and she helped me understand it, too! Highly recommend!

Katherine Hu is exactly who you want as a teacher. I have more than half a decade of teaching experience (not LSAT related) and I have a good eye for knowing a good teacher when I see one. Katherine did one of the hardest things that any teacher has to face: getting your student to engage when they are struggling to. I did not want to restart my LSAT studying after my last official LSAT but knew that tutoring was likely to be the only way forward regarding how to at least feel somewhat confident going back into test day.

The "secret sauce" of being a teacher isn't in the skills or knowing the techniques on how to transfer knowledge from teacher to student. Those are absolutely important and critical, but it's not what separates the best from the rest. Having a genuine care for what you teach and who you're teaching is the key to being an amazing teacher and Katherine embodies both of those qualities. On test day, I have never felt that calm going into an LSAT, real or practice, and I point to the strategies and confidence building that I learned from Katherine.

I cannot stress this enough, if you are looking for a tutor, request Katherine Hu. I'm sure all of the 7Sage staff is excellent but Katherine is who I had the opportunity to learn from and I have nothing but the best to say about her.

Emily is a fantastic tutor! Her approach was so helpful to me, it completely changed how I review and think about the test. Even when I had meltdowns over score dips Emily kept me focused and moving forward. I found this to be just as important as the test approaches she taught to me. I feel more ready than ever and so much of that was due to Emily's guidance. If you want someone who can meet you where you are, make sure you remain grounded in the fundamentals AND break down the test into understandable pieces AND who can help you through execution and consistency issues, look no further than Emily.

Emily is amazing!!! She is really great at figuring out the way that you learn best and adapting it in a way that works with the way you think. She is also super sweet and very understanding. My understanding definitely increased and showed me that I can do it. She helped me understand concepts that my analytics said I was struggling with, and was overall super easy to work with!

I worked with Maria who greatly increased my understanding and confidence towards the LSAT for my third take. After studying for a year, I felt like I was in a plateau and didn't know how to improve. Maria helped boost my score through individualized lessons based on my analytics, preparing presentations on each topic that covered crucial strategies and tips. While doing practice questions together, she deepened my understanding of why answers are correct and why wrong answer choices are wrong. She was also very supportive and encouraging throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend tutoring for those who felt stuck like me and needed someone to help push their understanding to the next level.
