To add a "Twist" this week, we have the added value of LSAC's Reasoning for every question on PT 62 in the SuperPrep II PT book - PrepTest A - Looking forward to matching our skills vs the test-makers:)

Note:

  • For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able on your own; then join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
  • Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call :) So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” KEEP THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOURSELF. Win the argument with your reasoning.
  • These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
  • The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via GoToMeeting and intellectually slaughter each test.
  • Tentative study schedule

@dantlee14842 Great Question! LSAC has released 2 Official SuperPrep books. We will be covering PT 62 which is PT A in the second, most current book available - Title "SuperPrep II". Each book has explanations for 2 previously disclosed PT's and 1 undisclosed PT. While not necessary to purchase the book, it does provide a previously undisclosed PT that is estimated to be in the 60's.

Okay, so sounds like PT 62 (December 2010) is the correct one? I must have the first Superprep PTs, since A is definitely not PT 62 in that one.

@fromthewilliamstothewall347 We will still do a traditional BR call but we will have the additional resource to understand, LSAC, the test maker's reasoning for the questions we cover. At some point during the call we will look at some of the global strategies that are discussed in the Official SuperPrep II.

Perhaps a stupid clarifying question - are we doing preptest 62, or preptest A? I have a PT 62 from Kaplan, preptest A from superprep, and I'm pretty sure they're totally different tests (from what I've been made aware, PT A is February '96, and PT 62 is December 2010).

    • Hey so curious how this will be different than normal BR calls?

I can't even come on these posts for the GIFs anymore. I think I want out, Ty. I've always been a fan of the gif-surprise aspect of the BR posts haha.

Stamping a major JK on this! :D (3(/p)

Brilliant idea! The Superprep explanations can be very helpful in understanding what is and what isn't relevant.
