don't do entire preptests, do drills and sections. it seems like you're making fundamental mistakes on LR. i would say it's possible to improve LR in the next few days, you need to focus on the basics like identifying premises vs conclusion, SA vs NA, stuff like that.

Why are you trying to reach it for Saturday? If you are planning on taking your first OFFICIAL test with a diagnostic under 150, you can improve your score a bit by just cramming recorded lessons, but imo if you are taking the OFFICIAL Lsat with a score under 150, your probably not ready to take it and should consider reviewing lessons first.

  • You need to do a deep review of your missed questions. Also, if there are gaps in your knowledge of the foundational curriculum, please work through that.

Don't know if my opinion is right or not, but if I were you, just focus on practicing LR. LR seems to be your strongest section, and to me, at least, it is the easiest section to improve on. Keep doing drills, blind reviews, and see WHY your answer for a wrong question is wrong. Highlight, underline, and circle important words, clauses, and sentences.

    Good luck.

@OmarAbuaita I don't find blind reviews to be helpful. But everyone's different! Find what works.

@legallyhaya I was in the same boat and decided to wait until I had a higher score.

Scholarships will make it worth it to wait to apply first thing next cycle imo

@Foxe i would love a scholarship, but I will be ok without one too (grateful)! and the school i am looking into, my gpa is above their 75th percentile, and their LSAT median in 148-154 (around that).

With these statistics, do u still think I should wait a year more?

@legallyhaya absolutely. with some practice you can learn to game the test. It's just going to take more of a commitment. I am in the opposite boat with GPA on the low end... And that's what I am doing. I started in the 140s and I am PT-ing in the 160's now. Give it a year, you will be glad you did. You can work on the test and your resume and then BOOM you're in a school better than the one you're thinking about or got a scholarship somewhere

@Foxe You're smarter than the score you're getting. Practice some more, and then take the test once you are in the range you like. You WILL have better options. If you'd like to chat, I think I can help you. I was in your shoes over the summer. I'm taking the test in Jan/Feb but likely going for one more test next cycle.

@Mufc03 i know i am guilty of not spending enough time / attention on RC, but I loose interest halfway the passage. i am trying to get at least 3 Qs right per passage. And also thanks so much for LR advice, i will give this a try as well

Here for the tips because I am in the exact same boat right now. I am just really trying to make sure I get at least 13 a section.
