Hey guys!! Who else is taking the August LSAT? I'm scared ngl. How are y'alls PTs going?? I haven't hit my goal score yet I'm nervous omg but I'm getting closer.

Are some of y'alls PTs feeling much harder than others? I just did PT145 and I thought I was going to die lol. I did PT144 last week and it felt like a breeze in comparison. I'm scared for the August test: hopefully it won't feel impossibly evil lmfao.

Are y'all doing any specific studying techniques? Do you feel prepared? How are y'all planning on managing test day nerves?

@Rabee I'm planning to take august, sept, oct, and nov (I'm 100% applying to schools this year hence why I don't care about using up 4/5 tries). I get test anxiety sometimes so I'm kind of treating August as a test run (still taking it seriously though, of course) and then will feel better going into Sept (I hope).

I'm sending it, planning to get some really good sleep the nights leading up to it. I am taking it August the 6th at 10:45 am. Planning to get some sun and stretch before, maybe to some light drills in the morning. Good luck to everyone, stay confident. We GOT this!!

I thought PT144, Section 2 was one of the worst LR sections I've ever done lol so if you think it was a breeze, I'm sure you're more than ready for August! Best of luck, you got this!!

@Elecoo I got more wrong on that LR section than I usually do but the reading I cooked (for like genuinely the first ever time) haha so it biased me to be a fan of that PT

TYSM and good luck to you too!

I’m taking I’m so ready. I’m 1 point away, I’ve hit 1 point below my goal 3 times now. Each time it’s like I miss multiple questions that are complete mistakes/questions I would not miss if I was locked in. I feel so capable of hitting my goal and going over it, it just feels like a matter of time till it happens. I’m taking 1 test a week and making sure my endurance is there. I’ve had fatigue make my performance drop off a little later in the test so trying to strengthen that. I will manage the test day nerves by being confident that I can do this because I know I’ll hit goal and go over if I just let my mind do the things I’ve trained it to do.

I'm honestly so worried abt taking a test at 8am lol. Why was the time slots so limited this time?? Was it just me having so little time options?

@ahsley I was able to choose 8 am, 11 am, or 2 PM. I am unsure why you were limited to one option.

@nr I had three options as well--my latest was 1:30 so I chose that. Perhaps their time slots were full by the time they registered?

@SusanLeifker I agree. I'm not a huge morning person and chose 11 AM but if it doesn't go well I'm gonna choose 2 PM next time!

@nr I am a horrible morning person, haha. I wonder how early we should arrive at the testing centers.

@SusanLeifker so fair and good question - I'm planning to do a test drive there the week of to make sure I can find it and help ease my anxiety the day of. I'm planning to get there 40 minutes in advance

I wrote PT148 today and got 5 points lower than my goal score, which really had me feeling defeated. Feeling like I should have studied harder at the beginning of the summer since the August LSAT is two weeks out, but we gotta just keep on going 💪🏻 Good luck in August!!

PT145 just humbled the crap out of me. also an august test taker. i did 144 yesterday and section 2 sucked but it overall felt so much easier than 145. glad im not alone.

Just a lil plug -- I'm hosting a group therapy session for August testers (that title started off facetious but turned out to be pretty apt) this Weds at 6pm EST.
