Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an experienced tutor to help me push past a stubborn plateau. My current average is a 164 (highest PT: 165), and my goal is to break 170+ for the September exam.
I already have a strong background in the foundations and spend a lot of time doing targeted drilling and in-depth reviews of my wrong answers. However, I’m consistently getting stuck in a few specific ways:
Logical Reasoning: I consistently narrow it down to the correct answer and one distractor, and then overthink and talk myself into the wrong choice. I also frequently eliminate the correct answer because it feels like it makes too much of an assumption.
Reading Comprehension: My main struggle here is just parsing dense text and misunderstanding the nuances of the passage or the questions.
General: Regardless of the question type, I sometimes struggle with parsing confusing language, and there are always a few questions where I second-guess my way out of the right answer.
I don't need to relearn the basics; I need someone who can get into my head, correct my thought process for eliminating trap answers in LR, and help me parse RC more effectively.
If you have experience helping students bridge this specific mid-160s gap, please DM me with your rates and availability!
Pleaseeee we need an option to print out drills for paper accoms. Drills I'm doing kind of bad on and I think this is why. Test is in September please roll this out asap😭
You still have to make a huge assumption with B. Like how is this even a real question.
PT145 just humbled the crap out of me. also an august test taker. i did 144 yesterday and section 2 sucked but it overall felt so much easier than 145. glad im not alone.
@Great1720 it doesn't matter if there's no mention of instructors in B as this is a weaken question which could be looking for an alternate explanation, but B is still incorrect because it doesn't really do much to the argument.
im sorry but the video explanation SEVERELY lacked. going through the other choices, "just no, doesn't happen." "nope, like what?" seriously???? not everyone has the same deduction skills
@SophieLuz As someone with ADHD, I pretty much can never watch the video explanations of questions and have to rely on the text explanations. They're too all over the place for me unfortunately and I lose focus so easily when he over-explains something or brings up something unrelated. But I know that must be helpful for people who might need that explanation.
ughhh i wanted to pick A but i thought it was "too strong" like bruh thats not an assumption thats the whole argument
@JAndonian16 Yeah I always do the "show question" and answer it for myself before I watch the video. Thanks for looking out tho!
Plzzzz implement this stuff soon. Being able to block out dates in the future and the system adds the lessons you missed to other days to catch you up, and just if you miss a day, it adapting.
Please make the lesson plans more customizable. Like able to block out certain dates and it being able to adapt if you miss a day!! My OCD cant take this lmfao
Anyone have good notes on these question stem identifiers? Mine are pretty limited
@J.Y.Ping You guys have been saying this is on the roadmap for over a year😭 Its huge for people with accommodations.
