Feeling very discouraged, defeated, and frustrated as LSAC changed the look of the interface AGAIN... 2 weeks before test day! Why is the text so incredibly tiny now?
I honestly feel like August test takers should be able to reschedule to September for FREE, and we should be able to sue them (to bad they force us to sign that we won't sue for us to even be able to take the test).
I know I am not alone in this frustration but changing it again two weeks before the August test days is actually mental. I feel like everytme I finally get used to a change they just pile more on. On top of that I was finally starting to score closer to my goal, and I feel the interface changes really screwed up my timing and momentum.
I wish everyone else luck on the August LSAT.

You can change the font size using the three dot menu:
We will move this option back to the accessibility button on the right toolbar as soon as possible, to match how it used to appear for you.

@Kevin_Lin When taking the actual exam, is there an option to adjust the text size prior to starting? Or do you have to use test time to do this?
Are the features on Lawhub changed as well?? I thought it was only on 7sage... I don't like how they changed flags to dots :(
For the font size issue, LawHub defaults to 125% but we set our default to 100%. That was an oversight. You can change the font size to 125% see @Kevin_Lin's comment below.
I also literally cannot post a new post for some reason right now.. but because of the new interface, when I am reviewing questions I missed, I cannot see what answer I originally picked if the answer was wrong and I cannot see which questions I crossed out which has been really helpful in looking at my reasoning for answering questions the way I did. I dont know if this is more of the new interface or what

to everyone on this thread who validated my frustration + helped me figure out how to change the font, you are much appreciated.
I have a fairly severe visual diagnoses and am registered for the August exam. This font size makes it nearly impossible to finish a section, let alone an entire PT. I'm sure even someone with perfect vision would agree that this is not acceptable especially for such a lengthy test.
I was initially upset with some of the other recent changes to the UI as well but eventually came around (or at least became accustomed) to them. I told myself that there will be much greater challenges in law school than the colour of a digital highlighter, and despite my frustrations, that wasn't going to be what stops me from becoming a lawyer.
If their (LSAC) goal in changing the UI was accessibility, this was a huge miss and they should own it. Sincerely hoping this is a bug but I have little faith in left in LSAC.

@Fizzypop It's wild to me because the font size would be wholly unacceptable in universities and colleges, as well as court documents, etc. so how is it acceptable for them to put it on the LSAT? If you wrote a summons and complaint at 10.5 pt font and filed it I am almost positive the court would send it back and make you fix the font.
@KSki I can see on LawHub the ability to change the font size now. Perhaps we're in the clear!
I really don't get the purpose behind these changes. Like what does LSAC think this interface change improves exactly? I think at this point they're doing it with malicious intent to purposefully lower scores somehow.

I am definitely struggling with reading the LR prompts and highlighting key notions in reading. I hope LSAC doesn't stick to this. I'm taking the test in September and am currently trying to do drill myself out of highlighting, but even on easier drills it's causing more strain to break them down mentally
@GavCan I hear you. The new way that highlighting works - you have to select the text first before the highlighter UI shows up - is here to stay. LawHub made that change and we're just trying to stay true to it. I know it's frustrating.
Is there an easier way to highlight then selecting the text then clicking the highlight button above it. This feels like a waste of time.

I'm so relieved hearing this; I really thought my eyesight was going when I needed to make the text bigger haha. Glad it's not just me.
What else did they change?
@zgainez The text is much smaller now when doing practice drills. It's about half the size it was. I'm not sure if we have to have a medical excuse to get larger text on the actual test (and if we do 2 weeks is really not feasible), but for someone with glasses, this does nothing to determine my understanding of the test, just makes it more difficult to take for no reason. If you take a practice drill it should reflect what I'm saying
@KSki Just checked the font size by pasting an excerpt in Word and it is at 10.5. (Which is discouraged at many colleges (at all levels) for essays where they believe it is better to have 12 pt font, at the very least 11 pt as it is difficult to read otherwise ; and there are often penalties to your grade if the font is lower due to the hinderance of readability)
@KSki On Lawhub and 7sage, you can adjust the text size and line spacing (on Lawhub, you can do so through the accessibility menu, and in 7sage drilling you can do so by clicking the three dots at the top). As someone who is legally blind and signed up for the August LSAT, I do feel targeted. I do agree that it being this small by default is terrible.
@potato7739 Is this something we will have the capability to change on test day? Do you know if we will be able to do it prior to starting our test, or will it be another thing that will take away our precious time?
@KSki You will have to manipulate the settings when you start the test, most likely. I suggest that you play around with the text size and line spacing options on PTs taken in LawHub (not 7Sage) before the official August testing administration so you can visualize which setting you want, so when you are in the testing center, you can set it as quickly as possible to not waste as much time. LSAC should really have an option to have the accessibility menu before the test starts or have an option for you to preset it on your LSAC account before the official administration, but we cannot have nice things.

I hate the size of the text. I already struggle reading from the screen, and now I can barely see. When I full-screen the test-taker, it looks like shit too 😭
One more question: are they going to leave the font as the off-black color, or will they have it be straight black, because I feel like that makes the readability inadequate too.
LSAC's frequent interface changes in such a short period are frustrating. However, I found a way to change the font size (in Drill): click the three dots in the upper-right corner, select "Appearance & Accessibility," and then choose your preferred text size. Hope this helps! :)
