Self-study
Study Plan (Phase 1 out of 3) is here!
This early version helps you organize the Core Curriculum.
Phase 2 (to help you plan your Drills, Sections, and PrepTests) and Phase 3 (to help you prepare the week leading up to your exam) are in the works and should be coming within the next several weeks.
Any and all feedback is welcome! Hope you like it!

Does the study plan take into account my 7Sage stats... like organizing curriculum based on my question type priorities?
@NewStudent The Practice phase of the study plan will. I'm expecting to release that on September 15.
The LSAT study Schedule on the old website showed that I needed to study about 42 hrs a week to prep for my LSAT in October. However, the new website only shows me roughly 36 hours weekly. Why?
@gabahahaha They're based on different calculations. Do you want to study more than 36 hours a week? You can toggle the settings here: https://7sage.com/study-plan/settings
when will phase 2 be out? can we get a date?
@Bel September 15
Hi, I'm so happy to see the study plan feature on the new site! I just set up a plan for the november date but I noticed it sets up the plan from scratch with lesson one despite having already completed a large chunk of the core curriculum. Is there any way to build a plan that picks up from where I am from or adjust the dates to push the study plan ahead a bit?
@persi123445 you. can choose the customized plan and click skip on the subjects you already covered
I haven’t reviewed the entire plan yet, but I think it would be very helpful to include an option to take a practice test every week or every other week once the foundational work is complete. Personally, I’ve been studying for the LSAT inconsistently this past year. While I’m familiar with much of the material being discussed, I feel it’s important to refresh my understanding, which is why I’m going back through the foundational work again. That’s just my general suggestion.
would be cool to have a way to incorporate non study days into the plan that get blocked off :)
The "Leave feedback" button is broken.
I was going to say it'd be great to have the algorithm incorporate the planned live classes when relevant according to where we're at in our plan.

@J.Y.Ping That's correct, I click it and nothing pops up. It may be because of my extensions (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger) on Chromium Edge, but I don't think that's it. Intercom works on other sites.
@Metroidude Ooof, can you write into studentservice@7sage.com? We can take a deeper dive and see if we figure it out. Sorry!
Will there be an update here when phase two is rolled out? I was planning on following this post so I can be updated when it launches
@Beanbag883 Yes, ETA for Phase 2 and 3 is Monday, September 15.
when i click "take me to my plan" the page comes up blank :( anyone else having this issue?
@lillykimball me too but i think that means you dont need to do core curriculum cuz the rest of the feature (planning drills and prep tests) isnt out yet
Does anyone else still have issues with study plans (i.e not having one visible after making it). Also, where is the "Work with LSAT experts in real time" and "Group study sessions, proctored tests, LSAT game shows, and more" that was promised with a Live subscription? Will we get a refund for failure to deliver services as promised?
@Natalie_S If you're not seeing the study plan after making it, it's because you were either recommended or chose the "Just Practice" study plan. That's currently not ready yet. It'll be released in Phase 2. So right now, the study plan can only help you schedule out the lessons in the Core Curriculum.
The "Work with LSAT experts in real time" and "Group study sessions, proctored tests, LSAT game shows, and more" can all be found on the Live Class page.
Thank you for that! Helps to keep tracking our progress and set realistic goals!!
I like that each week shows the total expected study time! I think it would be really helpful if there were also a running total of hours completed versus hours remaining, both at the daily and weekly level. Just an idea that would make it easier to pace myself, stay on track with my 4–6 hour daily goal, and get a stronger sense of progress. For example, something like:
Daily: “Today: 5h total — 2h completed"
Weekly: “Week 1: 35h total — 8h completed so far”
@poodledoodle That’s a great idea!
King when are you guys dropping weighing sections and drills into analytics
@antitrust_fan Probably in a week or two.
Same issues as the other folks, I clicked take me to my plan and it starts over on the first page.
@danielle.lee2@gmail.com I think it's because you might have been recommended or chosen the "Just Practice" study plan. That's currently not ready yet. It'll be released in Phase 2. So right now, the study plan can only help you schedule out the lessons in the Core Curriculum.
The same issue as the most recent comment. When I click "take me to my plan" it takes me back to the first page
@muggsybax I think it's because you might have been recommended or chosen the "Just Practice" study plan. That's currently not ready yet. It'll be released in Phase 2. So right now, the study plan can only help you schedule out the lessons in the Core Curriculum.
I set up a study plan but when I click on, "take me to plan" it says, "there is no study plan." I went through it again, and I get the same message.
@JDream2026 What happens when you go directly to this page: https://7sage.com/study-plan
@J.Y.Ping this is what it says:
You don’t have a study plan… yet!
Create a custom study plan for recommendations about what to study, how to practice, and when.
@JDream2026 I think it's because you might have been recommended or chosen the "Just Practice" study plan. That's currently not ready yet. It'll be released in Phase 2. So right now, the study plan can only help you schedule out the lessons in the Core Curriculum.
Is there a way to sync the study plan to our calendar?
@taycazy Do you mean that you want to get the study plan to show up on your Google Calendar? If that's what you mean, then currently no.
@J.Y.Ping Darn! Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you!
@taycazy I'll get it on our roadmap and we'll work on it!
Do you know around when you are releasing Phase 2 and 3?
@ClaireLee Unfortunately, it's too early for me to say definitively but I'm hoping to release it in a few weeks.
Hi! I'm confused about some of the features. Is there a video that goes over the categories, like drill vs smart drill and how to use 7sage as a whole. Or is there a calendar of what one should concentrate on weeks before an LSAT?
@Natalie_S Drills are "smart" by default in that Analytics will pre-populate the drill with high priority questions. But you have the ability to change any of the drill settings.
We'll put a post up about what to focus on for the pre-exam block so that you'll have something to tide you over until we release it on the Study Schedule.
@J.Y.Ping thank you!
@J.Y.Ping Is there a way to see how many smart drills you have left, or where you are in your progress of the drills or do they continue indefinitely?
@J.Y.Ping Hey could you post about what to do the week before LSAT?
@Natalie_S Yup right here: https://7sage.com/blog/your-final-week-before-the-lsat-a-day-by-day-strategy-guide
@J.Y.Ping TY!
Internal server error when I click "take me to my plan"
@AndrewB98 Same here
@Ryssa Same here. We're looking into it!
@AndrewBerreyesa @Ryssa Thank you for letting us know about this! We isolated the issue and a fix is incoming. ETA 1hr.
@AndrewBerreyesa @Ryssa Update: Fixed and confirmed working on my end. Sorry for all the hassle! Please let me know if you're still running into issues. Thank you so much for telling us about this!
Aug 13 9pm ET: It's partially fixed. If you have no study plan it should still work. But if your current lesson is not in your study plan it will error out. We should have a fix for this by tomorrow. In the meantime, if you manually go to a lesson that is in your study plan, or expand your study plan to be "comprehensive" in the unit that you are in, it should start working again.where can we find content to help us know what we should do to prepare the week leading up to the exam? I am not sure if this study plan feature will be fully available by the time I take my exam.
@Shaanw123 We'll put a post up about what to focus on for the pre-exam block so that you'll have something to tide you over until we release it on the Study Schedule.
@Shaanw123 Check this out for some guidance on what to do in the last week: 7Sage
Is there any feature where our study plans can be on our home page for easier access?
@Bel As soon as you mark a lesson complete in your Study Plan, it should appear on your homepage.
