Maybe you can implement a second set of navigational buttons on top of the page or maybe under the videos and above the transcript in the prep course. If you are trying to jump quickly between lessons it takes a decent amount of scrolling to get to the bottom of the transcript. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but can be helpful. Thank you for the great content.

Title pretty much says it all, I have gotten to a point in my studies where I feel like I know the content well enough to consistently score in the mid 150s, yet when it comes time to take a PT I just panic and don’t perform to the best of my abilities. The reason it’s so frustrating is just because I know I am smart enough, something just happens in my head whenever it comes to taking a PT that makes me panic and not think clearly, and I’m scared it’ll happen on test day. Should I give up? Is the test just not for me? These are questions that I have been asking myself lately, and it’s a tough pill to swallow considering the years I’ve put into this test, and how I have planned my entire education around going to law school. I’m not sure what to do anymore with really no improvement on RC and LR, just consistently getting around -11 on LR and even after blind reviewing I just feel as if I don’t internalize the information. For RC, there just seems to be absolutely no hope and I think that is where my score will be impacted the most, I usually miss around 14 and don’t even get to the last passage just because I am trying to be accurate with only 3 passages. However, I can’t even do that it seems, just constantly missing questions and not internalizing anything I read regardless of how much I take my time. If I could just find a way to score a 155 consistently, which doesn’t seem like a crazy stretch of the imagination, then my life would be made. Any tutor recommendations would be super appreciated and I really apologize for this mess of a post, I just felt the need to express my struggles and ask the 7sage community for help when I feel I need it most.

So, I definitely underestimated this exam my first time around (insert clown face emoji) and now I'm planning on taking the exam in Sep or October 2022. Without much preparation at all, I took the exam and got a 138. Needless to say, I was devastated. I'm trying to pick my confidence/dignity to try this again and take the exam seriously. Ideally, I would like to aim for the 160s. Am I delusional to expect such an increase?

I am about 75% done with the core Curriculum. I have to go back and finish some of the LR practice problem sets. I’ve been doing the CC since second week of February, and been grinding non stop studying each of these sections. I started taking PTs again this weekend. And literally didn’t improve but went down in score. Has this been happening to anybody else? Since not only has my morale gone down now. I’m starting to panic With test date being June 11. And I can’t even break into the 140s yet. With the score I need for my score being a 146-148.

Any advice would super appreciated!

Hello everyone!

It's been about 8 months since I started studying for the LSAT, and I have just reached 160/low 160s. My diagnostic was a 148. However, I might have to study for another year because my goal score is a 172+. I study for about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I am drilling sections, taking practice tests, blind reviewing the ones I got wrong, have been using 7sage, and reviewing Loophole. Is it normal to study 1-2 years for the LSAT? Feeling very discouraged and incompetent right now because I am seeing people study for about 6-8 months and get 170+. Any advice will help. Thank you!

How will Lsac show writing written on paper to law schools? is it a scan of the hand writing or they will show the typed version? I have been approved for paper and pencile accomodations but Im just wondering that how they will show it on my account to law schools cause if they just show a scan of it then it might affect schools decision as they would find out that I was accomodated upon my disability

Hey 7Sagers, I just wanted to point out some issues I have had with the website the past few weeks (Idk if you guys have experienced the same but I hope things can change soon as it is becoming a bit annoying) (Using Chrome on Dell Inspiron).

Issue 1 - When I review my PT results with the list of questions with times, answers etc. when I move my mouse over any of the time that I took to answer the black box comes up showing my time in each visit, the target time but it will not go away once my curser is off it. It stays up regardless of what question I pull up and it gets in the way forcing me to reset the page.

Issue 2 - When I go into my analytics and try to see the changes in BR in my chart, the lines for question incorrect answers do not change. It is becoming increasingly hard to review my analytics, something that is both extremely important to not only my studies but to what 7SAGE has as a website that puts it far ahead of other Prep courses/sites.

Really hope these gets fixed as it is becoming increasingly frustrating to even look over PT answers for review and analytics to see what I got wrong.

I've finished almost all the CC and I've taken 5 full length tests so far. I'm registered for the April exam and intend to take the June exam as well. I'm struggling to bridge my BR and timed scores. Timed I have yet to break 155. BR I'm hitting 161-164. My goal is a 165+. Any advice on whether I should continue to take full length tests and crank them out or focus on drilling timed sections? I'm feeling a bit stuck and anxious. Thanks!

I have noticed that any given PrepTest on lawhub.lsac.org has a particular sequence of sections which differ significantly from the corresponding PrepTest on 7sage.com. For example, PrepTest 86 on lawhub.lsac.org shows that S1 is an LG, S2 and S3 are LR, and S4 is RC. Whereas PT 86 on 7Sage.com shows that S1 corresponds to S3 (second LR) on lawhub, S2 corresponds to S1 (LG), S3 corresponds to S4 (RC), and S4 corresponds to S2 (first LR).

Is there a pedagogical reason for this decision by 7Sage? Can one expect a materially different score by altering the chronology of the sections one takes in a given PT?

For this week's LSAT Digest, I discuss tips on what to do when you're starting out in the Core Curriculum as a beginner in your LSAT studies. You can read the post here: https://7sage.substack.com/p/lsat-tips-utilizing-7sages-core-curriculum?s=w

So I have been studying off and on for almost 3 years now, taking breaks during difficult personal situations and tough academic periods during undergrad. I feel "decent" at LR and LG with a little bit more of a strength in LG, but my RC is AWFUL. I find that I am just generally a slow reader, and can take anywhere from 10-12 minutes per passage and questions which is just super slow. My goal score is somewhere in the mid to high 150s, and I was wondering if any of you wonderful people on 7sage has any advice for me to start implementing during timed sections and PTs in preparation for the June or August LSAT if I am really just trying to score in that range consistently.

Hey! So I am just wondering if anyone can give me a rundown on the new LSAT format and if there is any change to how the test is scored since it is only 3 scored sections now. I was also curious if it has been said if the rest of the test dates will be administered online like the June date?

What does 'lack' mean in LSAT?

Does it mean 'shortage' or 'none'?

I'm curious as I encountered anther similar questions about quantifier!

I know it might be a silly question, but want to ask if there's any issue with this word on lsat.

Thanks a lot in advance:)

I have 3.55 GPA and I think I can get around 170-178 on the LSAT. I know that this is something I have to discuss after I take the LSAT but I am wondering to what extent everyone around here is willing to take a loan out to attend a HYS Law or any of T-14 law schools. I think it is worth it to take a full 380,000 USD loan out to attend any of HYS Law, but I personally don't think it is worth it to attend any of T4-T14 law schools with 380,000 USD loan. I have seen folks who have graduated from lesser well-known schools and still end up as an associate making at least 150,000 USD per year. What I am saying is people don't walk around with a sign that says which law school they have attended: I think this mindset is too premature. Could you please share your thought on this?

Today, I took a 3 section prep test prep test and scored a 157. Then, I finished the final section on a prep test I've been dividing up and taking sections on different days (to simulate the four sections I'll have on test day). I scored a 172 on this test overall. All my other prep test scores have fallen anywhere within this 15 point range. I know a little variation is to be expected, but this seems extreme. Is anyone else experiencing this intense inconsistency? And does anyone have advice on how to combat it?
