Hi friends - I took the LSAT in November after a couple months of self study and am here to improve my score for the January test. I know most of the core curriculum so am stuck on where to start with the material. Any tips?

Hi, I am reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and he's talked about "conjunction fallacies" and "base rate fallacies" which are reminding me of some lsat questions I've seen before in logical reasoning. Does 7sage cover these fallacies at all in any explanation videos? They're definitely trickier than standard source attack or equivocation fallacies, and they are hard to understand sometimes. It seems like you need to know Bayes theorem to fully understand some of these concepts and I don't have any background in statistical math or probability theory
Hey all,
I am currently signed up for the January LSAT. Recently, I've been stuck at the mid 150's score range for PTs, and I was wondering if you all had any tips that could get you out of a rut? I am aiming for 160+. Currently, I am just using the drill builder and attacking it from there..
Thanks!
Happy Thanksgiving
Hello,
This isn't much of a technical problem but I was wondering if there's some way to reverse cancelling the Core membership. I cancelled mine but have decided I want to keep it for a few months. It expires Dec 12 and there's no button to reverse or re-subscribe for another month of the Core membership. I'm worried that if I let it expire then it'll get rid of all my PT data.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Thank you!
It seems like there is no option for that anymore whereas in the old version I was able to select the experimental section off.
So I’ve been using 7sage for a few months now, since August. While using it, I was scoring 153-158 in between those scores, and my blind review has been on the higher end in the 156-158 range. I decided to try the LR Loophole just to give myself a new perspective and i was only studying that this month and I thought it would’ve helped, but I just took a practice test and score a 151. I feel extremely discouraged, and that I wasted my time but I also think it could be that it was a lot of material that I covered this entire month and I neglected reading comprehension. I was planning on taking the January test with a goal of 160+ but now I’m not so sure. Does anyone know how to deal with this and what to do to improve? Also, should I still take the January exam with my goal score or push it to February but I think it’ll be too late for applications? I think I’m just going to switch back to 7sage because I was doing better.
A lot of the example interview questions I've seen online seem to overlap with some of the content covered in essays (why law? why now? etc). Are there any tips to bring up new information/not sound too redundant?
Totally random but I noticed Cond. and Caus. reasoning missing from the Question Stem Analytics section? Anyone else having that problem?
I refreshed the page maybe thinking I hid their area bubbles but nope, still missing.
What are the differences between these classes, and what score range is recommended to sign up for advanced rather than fundamentals?
Thanks to J.Y. and 7 sage, my PT scores have improved from the low 160s to the high 160s or low 170s.
But I have not been able to make further improvements.
Advice anyone?!
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my LSAT journey in hopes of encouraging others, especially those balancing life’s many challenges.
I took my first diagnostic in Spring 2023 and scored a 144 (Logic Games absolutely crushed me). My circumstances were unusual—I had been released from prison in 2022 after nearly a decade. While studying, I was juggling multiple jobs, full-time school, volunteer work, and rebuilding my life.
I started with books and Khan Academy before purchasing 7Sage when I could afford it. Without a clear plan, I meandered through the syllabus and struggled to balance studying with life. In June 2023, I scored a 154—lower than my practice test average.
Over the summer and into Fall 2023, I studied sporadically without structure, focusing too much on timed practice tests rather than mastering the material. In October, I scored a 158, applied to schools, and was waitlisted at two great ones. Inspired by these experiences, I decided to retake the test after graduating college in May 2024.
In July 2024, I started fresh with a more systematic approach:
By the end of this cycle, I averaged 164-168 on PTs and scored a 169 on test day.
I’m in my early 30s, married, working, attending religious school, and volunteering. Reaching this score came down to discipline, completing the syllabus, and mastering strategies.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that improvement is possible with the right plan and mindset.
Feel free to ask any questions—I’m happy to help!
Is there a video on this in the curriculum?
Keep getting this message: "Sorry, your account must be linked to an active LSAC LSAT LawHub Advantage account to access licensed materials. Link your account to continue your access.

IS this something I have to buy as well? Does anyone know any way to get around it???
Can anyone read my statements and give me feedback.
I got a 169 and have already gotten several A's from schools... so far no WL or rejections so fingers crossed! I went from 157 to 169 over a LONG period of time (I'm just a slow learner and was working a little more than full time while studying). Not many scholarship offers in yet ( several schools are saying that comes later? not sure how this all works. I'm first gen)
Thank you to 7S for their incredible answer bank and tutorials on games.
Thanks to all the commenters who left their approaches underneath the videos. With your help I'm gonna be able to graduate law school with much less debt -- who knows, maybe even none-- than I ever imagined.

Looking for a study buddy who are taking the LSAT in January 2025 to hit the 155-160s range. My Discord is PK#1370, feel free to contact me and hopefully work together to do great on the LSAT
Are any of you planning to apply this cycle with your Jan LSAT score? I’m up in the air because while I really don’t want to wait around another year, I’m not sure I will get the best scholarships I’m wanting/the highest chance of admission, yet my dream school’s ‘ideal’ deadline is March 31st, with a final deadline in June.
Any opinions appreciated. I’ve been listening to a lot of ThinkingLSAT and I feel like I am talking myself out of applying this cycle, even though I’ll be well within the timeframe that the school gives.
I find that right now I'm really trying to strengthen my weak areas through the classes and trying questions in the drills. But for certain areas like AP, theres only 60 or so questions that are in the drills, and I feel like I will exhaust them really quickly. I'm having trouble finding any alternatives :(
Anyone in the area looking to study together for the upcoming exam?
hii im currently looking for a study buddy or study group to motivate each other and help learn new ways to approach problems! im in the pacific time zone, don't have discord and taking the january lsat. looking forward to connecting w you!
any study schedule for 2 months. It’s been a little over a year since I last studied for the LSAT. Going to try and take it in February. TIA
Hi Guys, Im looking to start a group for people who are taking the february LSAT and are looking for others who want to help keep each other accountable and have people to talk about the test about. I know this can be a very isolating process but I'd love to create a group of extremely motivated an ambitious people who can all help each other and motivate each other to do great on the test.
Hi,
I'm really not sure what to do about this but I had some disciplinary hearings at my university because of Palestine organizing on campus. I was let off with warnings for both hearings and both times they were really unfair hearings but I'm not sure if I should explain that it was unfair. Should I be detailed about this on my application because I feel it may show dissent against school admin? If anyone has insight or experience please let me.
So I just made a custom drill of PT 130 S2 with all the RC passages in it and I'm currently reviewing my answers. I have attempted this section before. After getting my results I would click "Ques" under the Explanation tab on the right hand side, but I'm noticing a discrepancy between the drill results and the questions listed under the explanation video as there are results under there too. For example, in the drill review results it's indicating I missed Q5, but upon opening the explanation video the results under the video says I got that question right. And it's happening for a few other questions. I'm unsure if this is an actual problem or if it's just showing me the results from the last time I drilled this section? I can't tell as neither of them are dated. It's confusing me as even the timing report differs for example, in the drill it states I picked an answer within 18 seconds and the explanation video says it took me 47 seconds. Are these just results from two different dates of taking the same drill?
