I have been studying for a while. My highest on a practice test is 163 and I've gotten 160 a couple of times. However, my blind review highest scores have been 169 and 171. The reading comp is the defining factor at times. Should I wait to take the lsat in Jan or do I just take it next month. Im signed up for both. additionally, what are some strategies you use during reading comprehension. I want to continue scoring higher but sometimes I get 18/19 and at other times 13/14. The next lsat is closely approaching.

Does anyone have a strategy for the LSAT flex? I was just going to skip one of the LR sections when taking the test. Then go back and do it after I finish the test. Does anyone know if 7Sage is working on a flex option?

I just wanted to post this to see how other people are learning from their missed questions. As I was looking over some missed questions and seeing why the correct answer is correct, it struck me that I don't have a very good system for learning from my missed questions and remembering my mistakes. I've been blind reviewing of course, and then I will write out my thinking in the "explanation note" box. How are others keeping in mind the mistakes they've made, and carrying it over to similar questions? This is mainly for LR.

Proctors: Somewhat strict. Had three proctors just for my room. They spoke among themselves during the test taking.

Facilities: Very old and not conducive for test-taking. Had a small lecture hall desk that could barely fit the materials and my pencils, watch, etc. Needed to use the desk next to me for most items.

What kind of room: Old-school science lecture hall

Noise levels: Bells were ringing from the main campus throughout the test

Time elapsed from arrival to test: About an hour? There were a lot of people at this center and it took time to split the group up into smaller groups and get situated in the test taking room.

I've been studying on my own for about 5-6 months, and I am taking the June LSAT coming up. I just recently learned about 7sage and decided to subscribe in the month before my test. Obviously, I don't have nearly enough time to go through all of the material, which brings me to my question: are there are any lessons that you guys felt were the most helpful - or maybe triggered an "aha" moment in your brain - in each of LG, LR, and RC respectively?

Currently, LG is my strongest (scoring around 17-21/23) with LR and RC both behind trailing behind (19-20/25 and 20-21/27). Would welcome any advice given the one month timeline I have right now.

I am looking for an accountability partner from now until the April LSAT. I want someone who is planning to apply early for Fall 2022, has been studying for the test for a while, is aiming for a T10 law school, wants a 170+, and wants to get this thing over with by the middle of this year. I prefer someone who is weaker on LG (no specific limit here) but stronger on LR and RC (-2 to 4 range) so we can complement each other. I am breaking even on all sections but while I can mostly figure out my errors for LG by myself, I often can't do so with LR and RC. My highest PT was a 168 and I am looking to break into the 170s. Hi everyone! Like many people recommend, I have been saving the most recent PT's for my study sessions closer to the real LSAT exam. I understand that the newer practice tests shouldn't be (or, subjectively they shouldn't be) more difficult, but I am noticing that I am really struggling with them! So far I have taken a few in the 70's and a few in the 80's. My scores have been significantly lower. Has anyone noticed that they are having issues as well? I know there truly are very subtle differences, but I'm just not too sure how to adjust my studying accordingly. Does anyone have any advice for how to approach these newer tests?

Has anyone or is anyone taking the March exam at Lehigh? I wanted to go and take a PT there but no one seems to know anything about the lsat. Anyway, they told me that there is no place for me to take a PT but she didn't seem quite sure herself. If anyone has any info on the test center can you share your experience?

I scored lower on my retake (168) than my first score (169)

I studied for the first take about 3-4 hours a day/5days a week for about 5 months, after a 5 month period in between

my retake was about 2-3 hours a day 4 days a week for another 4 months

My first score was my PT avg the month prior going into the test

My retake was a total underperformance, as I was PTing around 171-173 a month going in...

I retook because I was WL at my top school choices... with my 169...

I'm very disappointed because I really felt confident in my retake especially with a better familiarity of the material this time around...

my LG was 0/-1, LR 0/-4 (avg -2), RC was -3/-6 ( avg -4)

I have used all the recent PT's and the rest for sections and problem sets...

I am definitely thinking about August with the deadline approaching....

How do I approach studying as I used most of the material with no fresh PT to gauge my standing

I just finished the MSS section and didn't do poorly, but didn't get complete 5/5 on most problem sets. Should one continue to work on these questions before moving on to another section? I don't want to rush through material if I am not solid in other areas. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Is there any available resource to compare how difficult PT-X's LG section with PT-Y's LG section as a whole?

E.g. for an average 170-scorer, how many approximate misses in PT-55 LG compared to PT-75 LG within 35 mins in strict test conditions.

This is not referring to how difficult an individual Game but only LG section as a whole.

Any data out there about how many people ultimately get a 90th percentile LSAT score + after multiple attempts? If I'm understanding the percentile charts correctly, approximately only 10% of folks get a score higher than a 166 in each administration. But not aware of data out there about "ultimate" scores across multiple test attempts.

I've been fluctuating anywhere from 158 to 165. I recently scored 165 on test number 60 (the last one I took). I was feeling pretty happy with the improvement I made (diagnostic 154). But I just took the 72 and bombed back down to the 158. I know a lot of people said at first when they hit the 70s, their scores went down. But I honestly can't see why I would have such a massive 7 points down as I really didn't find the fundamentals between the 2 tests that different. Any encouragement or thoughts on this would be helpful. Has anyone seen this happen to them?

Also if you're wondering why I'm skipping around numbers it's because I give my friend a number range and just have her pick one. :)

any engineer/math majors who found it terribly difficult to do LG on computer-based test, and were able to get into 17x on computer-based lsat official administration?

how exactly do you work on lg on paper for every answer choice?

it seems much more difficult than LG during paper-based test days, as most if not almost all answer choices need transcribing on paper to be worked on.

earlier the answer choices were already on paper, so one could just draw on their top or check them against own diagram on paper.

i find it almost impossible now.

i have taken LSAT before during its paper-based days and have a 17x score, which is now expiring, and need retake.

LG was almost perfect for me on paper in 35 min.

but i have taken PT several times on computer now and it's much worse.

These numbers are hardly moving. Granted, I have been on here for less than two months, but for some reason each time I log in and see this I feel discouraged and hopeless. Any suggestions?

ps. I plan to take July 23 test

They did release 'new' PTs that turned out to be reused versions of the old PTs, without the LG sections. I'm planning to take lsat before August so I'm mainly looking for 'actual' new PTs after the 2020s, there must be a pretty sizeable amount they've saved up so far + these old PTs have LG sections in them which probably are going to be abandoned altogether with the new system. Does anyone think they'll be releasing them anytime soon?
