So I am new to the entire LSAT/LSAC/Law School endeavor. I am a first generation btw & have been pining about law school for a while (among other things like a job).

I notice that there is a mixer in NYC (where I am located by God's grace) after the LSAC forum. Now I am thinking is the LSAC forum like a significant thing? should I be attending?

What is the deal with these forums? they look rather cursory, perhaps?

I am so lost & focusing on the LSAT but anxious about missed opportunities and really unhappy that I cannot even seemingly get an offer as a volunteer at a legal firm or legal aide or ACLU or some other firm (I have degrees from Harvard & Columbia University & I am a US citizen). They don't want my help with volunteering but whenever I need legal help I can not find a lawyer or even a volunteer to help with legal issues. What is up with that?

Any help would be appreciated, any pointers or referrals. I mean people from Ind_ia (from the South!) with no-name school Bachelors are working as paralegals for Jewish law firms in NYC. I should have some chance here, right?

🙃 Confused

Clean Version Glitch

If I do a question or a section and get 100% then I do not have the option for the clean version and it does not show me what I put for the BR. For example this is Q14 which I got correct as an individual question and when I click Review it does not give me the options of clean, actual take and blind review.

If I do a question or section and I get at least one question wrong, then I do have the option for clean version and I can see the BR as well.

When I did the entire passage together and got some wrong then I see the option for: clean, actual take, and blind review.

As a control, I did a drill for RC and got 100% and just like my first example, I do not see clean version, actual take or blind review.

For every question, it only shows my actual take.

Wrong answer Journal

what to do with wrong answer journal?

I mean I know, u have to see why u got certain Q wrong but I dont understand how to utilize my WAJ. is there a way? how do u all revise it effectively? Any tips and tricks?

PS. I use CollANote app for my notes, I have created a seprate doc for WAJ. I usually take a picture of question (including AC and everything) and then I write the technique that instructor uses.

Is there any other effective way?

I couldn't access my original 7Sage account so I made a new one and purchased monthly + Prep Plus. However 7Sage + LSAC won't let me link the accounts, so I'm out $168. I can now access my original account, but my new account is useless and I lost that money. I can put a block on my credit card to prevent the purchase, but any idea how to resolve this? I want to be able to use 7Sage but I'm not dropping another $168 just for it to not work again.

Hi,

I am new to 7sage, and I wanted to do the initial diagnostic PT to see where I am at. I noticed the time went by way to fast and I did not finish nearly half of the questions. Is this normal to get such a low score or should I wait and begin the CC before doing a diagnostic?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently signed up for the November LSAT, but I’ve been feeling really stuck and could use some advice. My practice test scores are still in the 140s, and even though I’ve been studying consistently, I’m not seeing the improvement I was hoping for. I’m aiming for at least a 157, but right now that feels out of reach.

I’ve been using 7Sage to go through the core curriculum and drilling with LSAT Demon (Basic plan), mostly focusing on Logical Reasoning and some Reading Comprehension. But honestly, I’m not sure I really know how to study. I watch the videos, do drills, and review my answers — but I don’t feel like I’m learning how to avoid the same mistakes or actually build better habits.

Reading Comprehension is by far my worst section. I feel like I’m always running out of time or just completely missing the structure and purpose of the passages. Logical Reasoning is a bit better, but I’m still not where I want to be.

I’m thinking about upgrading my Demon plan in October to get access to live classes and more targeted help, but I’m also wondering if I need to change how I’m approaching my studying in general.

If anyone has broken out of the 140s — especially using Demon or 7Sage — I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you. How did you improve your Reading Comp? How did you review in a way that actually led to progress?

Thanks in advance — I really want to make this happen, but I know I need to work smarter if I’m going to reach my goal by November.

Free Law Hub

My Fee Waiver expired for LawHub but is still valid for 7sage. I can't access anything here without a lawhub subscription and I can't afford it. What should I do?

I seem to have some trouble grasping lawgic diagramming. does anyone have tips? Once things get a little bit more complicated I seem to have trouble pulling some of the correct parts.

About recommend for BR

I wish there were an option for users to turn the BR recommendation on or off. Personally, I always do BR after a drill, but the recommendation often makes me second-guess my answer. It feels like a subtle hint that I got it wrong and need to find the “correct” answer, which I don’t find helpful

New feature: score prediction

Predicting your score helps you sharpen your self-assessment and see patterns in under- and over-confidence—critical for improving your time management and skipping decisions on test day.

This feature is available for Drills and Sections as well.

I was listening to an older 7sage LSAT podcast from before this new website was launched and they were talking about changing the settings on the analytics page to show more updated stats from the last 3 PTs taken. Is there a way to do this on the new website? I'm not sure if I'm missing it, but it would be super helpful to track recent progress. Thanks!

Is anyone else having this same problem? Every time i try to use the "show question" feature to view a question and try it myself before a lesson or refer to it when im doing review, it will either not show up entirely and glitch my screen, or pop up with half of the question?? Im sure its just a bug but hopefully they can fix it soon because its making my review way more inconvenient lol

New feature: Study Plan Phase 2 - Practice

Study Plan Phase 2 - Practice is here!

Phase 1 recommends lessons from the Core Curriculum based on your diagnostic score and the amount of time you have to study.

Phase 2 recommends Drills, Sections, and PrepTests based on your Analytics. This is in beta so I expect there will be some bugs. Any and all feedback welcome!

Phase 3 (coming soon) will help you prepare the week leading up to your exam.

Hi there! I've been using 7sage for a few months, and recently I've been unable to use the highlighter in both LR and RC drills. I use a Mac, and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and how they fixed it! Thanks!

I am a 56 y/o (yes, I had to go back and count 😊), military retiree, working on my 3rd career and taking the LSAT. My vet friends would say, “padding the obituary” a bit.

There are many of you that are worried about your scores and how to increase. You are doing great! I would love to be where you are at that age, but life took other turns.

Take a deep breath, and land where you land. A great career awaits you on the other end.

If there are others out there that are coming in at a higher-than-average age, I’d like to know how you are coming along? I’m not going to lie, this is hard to sort through the “logic” and after a career of “bottom line up front” writing, I’m having a hard time figuring out what the questions are really asking.

Any input or words of encouragement are welcome.

Glitch

Hello, is anyone else having glitches when doing the blind review? My initial score was 100% then during the blind review, it told me I had one wrong, and when I redid the question the blind review was 80%.
