Any tips for timing yourself on RC section? RC is always hit or miss for me depending on the difficulty of the passage. Sometimes I have to read sentences a few times to really understand them and then I short myself on time for the other passages leaving me either 1) completely guessing at the end or 2) quickly reading the passage and not fully understanding it therefore, getting questions wrong anyway.

After having took 5 practice tests and done probably 50 different logic games, I have come across my number 1 enemy: drawing the initial board. Not even figuring inferences, but simply figuring out if it’s sequence or grouping and drawing a board accordingly. Does anyone have any tips for figuring out the kind of board to draw?

I watched JY's explanation video and I see why B is correct, but I'm still confused why D isn't either. It says "if ALL farmers..." in the premise, so how isn't it overlooking that possibility?

I started my course of study focusing pretty much exclusively on LGs (my first PT was a 159, -4 RC, -13 LG, -avg 5.5 on LR, so the what needed improving seemed clear) and am now in a place where I'm pretty happy with them.

The problem is now LR. On average I'm still -3 or -4 per section, and I just can't seem to crack the most difficult questions. Get them wrong ~50% of the time on BR, get them wrong in the little bit of time I have to check my answers in section.

So - any tips or strategies for approaching difficult (4 or 5 pip) LRs? Thanks in advance!

I have consistently been getting -8/-9 on every timed LR section that I do for the past month. When I BR, I tend to get -6/-7. I have tried drilling harder question types, but nothing seems to be sticking. Should I go back to the core curriculum? I read through all of Loophole too. Taking the Nov LSAT and frustrated I can't seem to master LR.

Thoughts on November LSAT? Is there still a good chance of getting into schools if I apply end December?

Since mass can be determined by the brightness, if the brightness is lower than previously thought, shouldn't it be that the mass is also higher than previously thought? If the brightness was thought to be 40% and mass 50 but brightness is actually 20, wouldn't the mass also be less than 50, hence lower than previously thought?

I'm not sure I understand this question - what does 60 times less light mean? Is that supposed to be an absolute number? It seems pretty relative to me.

I started out well on the MSS section, but did worse as the problems got harder (4s and 5s). Should I move on to the next lesson or tighten up my understanding of MSS?

Hello, I took the August 2022 LSAT and the LG section had me very confused. I had never seen anything like it and when kept looking around at my practice tests for something similar, I was still unable to find something like the one I had on the test day. Would you be able to provide any assistance in pointing me in the correct direction, I do not want to make the same mistake on my next test.

Anyone have/ know of a set of flash cards for words which queue up different types of questions?

I know it seems trivial, but I want to have the queue words memorized so I can just look at a question and know BAM it's a "sufficient assumption" question. Sometimes the wording can take me a sec to identify, and seconds count.

Even though all professions involves a certain degree of subjectiveness, but this is not the same as "determined by" subjectiveness. If all jobs are involves merely a certain weak degree of subjectiveness--not to the extent of being determined by it, then this answer choices does not really point out a flaw.

I need help really bad guys. I read the Ellen Cassidy book on Logical Reasoning and throughout my studies I've been doing really good on Logical Reasoning. I just hit the newest Practice Tests (80s) and it seems like every answer choice I pick is wrong. I'm struggling so bad with these newer tests and their abstract language. I'm crying and so so anxious about my upcoming test because it seems like nothing is working. It seems like all my work has been for nothing. Does anyone have any advice at all on how to reset my mindset for the newer Logical Reasoning sections? I try going to Manhattan Prep and watching JY's lessons on the new answer choices but it seems like literally nothing is helping.

Got absolutely cucked by the time slots for the October test because LSAC only allows a testing window of 25 hours for international takers. I'm seeing that ProctorU has an option called "Take It Soon" where you can schedule to take the test earlier. Does anyone know if I'll be able to change my test time if I select this option?

Hi , I am currently signed up for the October Lsat, but I am feeling like I should change it to November just to try and bring my score up a little bit more, but the registration for November is closed, so does that mean I could not change my test date to that test month? I emailed LSAC to see, but I do not want to try until I get a definite answer because then I will not take the LSAT until January.

Hi guys I have been doing WAJ for the past couple of weeks. The way I did it was firstly copy&paste screenshot into my ipad notebook and then write explanations on it. Then I switched to make a drill of every question I missed or had doubt with and download that as a pdf. to write notes on. While I found this process to be smooth, I would rarely go back to these individual pdfs because the amount is getting big.

I wonder if I could somehow find a way to incorporate these notes into one document? I am thinking about perhaps doing an excel, but because I would like the stimulus included, I don't wanna do any extra, unnecessary work by somehow copy&pasting or screenshooting into excel; I already don't have enough time to actually practice because I have been spending so much time on BRing and reviewing wrong questions.

Hi! I'm currently reliably able to get Strengthening and Weakening questions correct when they are marked as Easiest/Easier/Medium level questions, but I seem to be only getting half of any given set of Harder/Hardest level Strengthening and Weakening questions. I also have the same problem with Flaw questions with about the same ratio of accuracy for the same difficulty levels.

Is there any different strategy I can adopt for sake of improvement? I really think nailing these types of questions in particular along with Flaw questions seems to be the key for me to getting a -3 or less on LR from my current score analytics, and from there my chances at a 170+ would greatly improve.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer is C: I actually eliminated C pretty quickly on the grounds that the answer choice alleges the ethical principle does not help the journalist, whereas Anita states that the guidance is inadequate. If something is inadequate, I take that to mean it is insufficient for achieving a purpose. However, something can be inadequate but still help in a situation. If I say "the water from one fire hose is inadequate for putting out the forest fire," it doesn't mean that the water from the one fire hose does not help in extinguishing the fire. It most definitely helps, but is insufficient to achieve that purpose.

Can someone tell me why answer choice C is correct? I ended up eliminating every answer choice in this question and just guessed since I was stumped.

Who I drill MSS questions, I lays get all the "very low" questions correct, then when it gets to "low" questions and "high" questions, I always get down to the last 2 choices and pick the wrong one on the first go then pick the right one on the blind review. Are there any tips on how to distinguish between the last 2 answer choices in the time frame on the first go? thanks!

Does anyone have any tips regarding familiarizing oneself with law passages (e.g., reading materials, websites)? When I am unfamiliar with a topic whether in RC or LR, I end up re-reading a lot even though I have a fair grasp on the logic. Any tips and tricks would be appreciated!
