Are you by chance also registered for October? The person I spoke with on the phone said that the problem was that my writing sample was tethered to my October test instead of my September for some reason, and she fixed it while I was on the phone in a couple of seconds and had me refresh the page and now I've got the launch link! If you're registered for Oct and think this might be the problem I say give them a call at their main number (800-336-3982) and let them know what's up and they should be able to fix it for you ASAP so you can complete your writing sample.

@strawberryicecream omg I just realized mine says the 29th too! That's so weird! Like I said in the post im gonna give LSAC a call tomorrow and see if they can figure it out but if anyone has been able to fix this that would be great to know. Ill report back if I learn anything.

@Rena12345 thats especially reassuring, hopefully ill be able to get it figured out soon since LSAC has usually responded within 14 days everytime ive emailed them before. so if my experience is anything like yours I should hopefully be fine!

• I would think if you've taken it already you probably don't need to do the whole curriculum over, you should probably just focus on what you aren't confident/strong on.

• I think neither, prioritize review! But between the two, drilling. PTs just tell you where you are, and what you do under the time constraint, drilling will help you to target weak points and focus on the individual questions so that you can perform better in the full test. Not to say never take PTs but when you do you should be doing some pretty serious review of those too to make sure you understand what mistakes you made and all

• I have this fear too! I've been studying for a little over 6 months and I'm figuring if I do start to run out of material I'll go back and reuse material I used when I first started studying since I won't really remember it. Plus, if you play your cards right, there's plenty of material! i also started focusing on watching videos and reading articles/posts about things I was noticing I was struggling with so that I was focused on learning new information rather than just drilling brute force until I got it

• I think tbh that for RC the best way to improve stamina is to do full sections, and for LR its to get more comfortable with the material. When you have an easily repeatable strategy you can use for all of the questions (RC and LR) then even when you're fatigued you can just repeat your strategy and you'll still hit the right answers

• Be calm and trust yourself! It's hard to do this with the LSAT I feel like but remembering that the test is a learned skill, and it is possible to conquer, and you have time is all very helpful. positive affirmations have been my friend throughout this whole process!

not a tutor or anything, im really just a guy lol but these are my thoughts based on my experience, I hope some of this helps!

I know you posted this last week but I wanted to share my experience! As the tutor who replied said its totally dependent on the person and some people love highlighting, and others hate it. I used to highlight everything I thought would be important, but that doesn't really work when you don't fully understand what you're looking for (structure, not content) because I was focusing on all the wrong things. Highlighting perspectives distracted me from focusing in on the author's opinion especially, but that obviously isn't the case for everyone.

My current strategy is that I only highlight words that show the author (and sometimes other people who are mentioned) opinion, since that's what I tend to miss on first pass. That's literally all I highlight (which is still a decent amount of highlighting) and this has done wonders for both my speed and accuracy

I believe when you click on "take another drill" at the bottom of the answers on the page that shows your score and all that info it populates another drill with all the same settings!

You can get back to a drill you previously took by going to Study > Analytics > Overview, then scroll all the way to the bottom to see the list of drills you've taken recently, then click on the one you want the same settings for and it'll take you back to the review page with your score and such

What question types are you struggling with most for LR? Doing some targeted drilling and review of specifically those question types might help you to catch the traps you are falling for! I also suggest doing some semi-endurance training by only drilling higher level questions (probably in smaller amounts like 5-8 questions then taking a break to review) so that the variance of difficulty on PTs feels a little lighter.

I like to repeat each paragraph in my own words and write down a quick summary of each paragraph on scratch paper as I read - trying to keep it as short as possible. My goal of course is to move away from needing to physically write it down to remember it but I'm not really referencing my notes anymore and I've gone from missing 3 or 4 questions per passage (yes it was really bad lol) because of misreading down to 2 or 0. I also suggest that as you read you look for the questions you know you're going to have to answer, I take note of main point, relationship of each paragraph to one another, author's tone, role of a paragraph, and structure (ex. First paragraph introduces a problem, second paragraph suggests a solution then explains why its not reasonable, third paragraph does the same as second paragraph etc.). I've also been doing drills of RC 1 passage at a time so that I can review between passages to try and make sure I don't make the same mistakes in one sitting.
