@JiggityJack5 i think that would be the sub-conclusion as it is support for the main conclusion.

I find it so hard to use conditional logic for these types of questions.

Can someone explain Q2 to me?

All trees are perennial plants with elongated stems.

I am not sure how it could be

tree → pre and estem

/pre or /estem → /tree

and not just

trees-pre

/pre-/trees

Would these two be the same thing?

I wrote:

Flowers-/bloom

bloom-/flowers

If it is a flower in the garden, then it does not bloom in the winter.

If it does bloom in the winter, then it is not a flower.

I feel like it is correct, but not too sure.

Basically, the conclusion is not valid because the second premise is a necessary condition and not a sufficient condition.

The "only if" indicates a necessary condition and not a sufficient condition.

If you are having a hard time understanding, try putting the questions and the example in chatgpt and it does a really good job in explaining.

Can there be a context, concession, premise, and conclusion, all in one?

conclusion: But only a small minority of contemporary north americans................... have had any significant exposure to these works.

these works=the operas of Bizet and Verdi

Wouldnt that be the conclusion?

I used that conclusion and came up with the answer choice C.
