Explanation for B says “We want a comparison between teenagers who drink the caffeine-rich carbonated beverages and teenagers who don’t drink the beverages”, but that’s not apart of the conclusion, that’s apart of the premise directly above the conclusion. I didn’t know this was a most weaken the premise question
@SergioC fr, under timed pressure it’s hard to figure out bc there’s sm details in the passage, but I just did it without being timed and got it right in like 2-3 min.
@SofiyaBerman in my opinion, no. But if u don’t know what the flaw is and that’s an option I would go with it.
@CaseyLiu fr bruh like I ain’t doing all that for a question we’re supposed to answer in a min and 30 seconds 😭💀
So annoying when they have the answer choices seem like they’re written by Einstein himself. Doing everything in their power to make the answer choices as confusing as possible
I was gonna choose C at first but thought it would’ve been wrong since it’s saying just crops instead of genetically engineered crops…. 🙄
I’m confused because it never said that the author made the assumption of inflammatory -> inappropriate. The logic of Riley is that if it is inflammatory then -> inappropriate. So why are we having to make a distinction on the behalf of the author on an assumption that was never made by the author?
So by environment do they mean economic, like when they mention “economic success”??
i don’t get how it’s D. Although they replaced red meat with baked goods which are even richer in fat, we don’t know how much of those baked goods they’re consuming. What if they’re consuming baked goods 2x less than they were consuming red meat? In that case, how would they be consuming even more fat than those who have not reduced red meat consumption.
I knew where to find the answer but I got B wrong due to the wording. The test makers doing anything besides wording stuff normally
Love how when the passage is easy they make the answer choices impossible to understand 😍😍😍
Can this test get any more annoying at this point
