@prabh Send you a dm.
I got all 3 correct because
I ignored the time!
Took my time to read the questions and understand what it is saying.
Broke down the arguments into (Premise, Conclusion, intermediate conclusion, Context)
I was aware of the indicator words
Note: I take double the amount of time to get it done, but thats ok for now.
quiz i made to help reenforce the material: What is the aim of an argument as described in the diagram?
How is a premise defined in this framework?
How does a conclusion differ from a premise?
What does it mean when one claim supports another claim?
What determines the strength of an argument in relation to assumptions?
What happens to an argument when one of its assumptions is false?
What is a forgotten premise or missing link in an argument?
Which question helps identify a conclusion using the first method shown?
Which question helps identify a premise using the second method shown?
Name three indicators that usually introduce a conclusion.
Name three indicators that usually introduce a premise.
Which indicators can introduce a premise but also contain a conclusion?
How does the word but function in context according to the diagram?
What purpose does a concession serve?
Give 3 indicator of a concession.
I missed q2 cause the author didnt conclude but was highlighting what others, scientists concluded. This is called a 'nested claim' I shoulve got this one correct cause i learned this from The Loophole book. Nested claims are when someone other than the author makes claims and conclusions. This is my sign to pair the 7sage CC and The Loophole Book. If anyone is doing this method or wants to, hit me up to make a study group.
I keep second guessing when my instincts tell me the correct answer. For ex. conclusion for q5 was so this bottle...
But i started from When an acidic...
For the two i didn't answer or missed, I was analyzing the strength of the argument instead of just identifying the premise and conclusion. I need to follow instructions better
Persuasion does not mean without flaw. Got it!
@abboshap560 I'm doing the same combo too! We should make a study group.
I'm interested. I plan on taking the test around that time as well.
Ok, I was getting so lost with the 'unless or until' but once i started changing each unless or until to 'without' it made total sense to me. Maybe this isnt the best way but it worked out well for me
