I and many others in the comments have the same question about #2 - why isn't several interpreted as some?

I have noticed a lot of questions left in the comments across multiple lessons have gone unanswered for many months. Because of this sometimes I feel like it's not worth leaving a question. Is there anyone that actively reads/and answers comments? Thanks.

#8, started vomiting and crying uncontrollably when I tried to read AC C. My subsequent delirium must have caused me to ignore the word suspects and not give critical thought to AC B, which is what I picked. How silly of me

I basically did exactly what you did. I just did the foundations again in v2, except a little faster and didn't do every drill. It couldn't hurt going over it twice.

When translating “been kept openly and notoriously,” into lawgic, I understood it as “Op and No” instead of combining the two into “OpNo.” I understand it as “Op and No” because I thought it was important to note that one could keep a pet openly, but not notoriously and vice versa. As I’m writing this I guess it would make no difference because the rule would fail anyways if just one was satisfied but not the other. Any particular reason for this choice, and am I thinking about it wrong entirely? #help

These questions are weird for me. One 4 star question I get the answer in under a minute. Next 2 star question I take 5 minutes trying to decide between 3 answers and still get it wrong.

Please give the option for us to export/save the Miro board as an image/pdf. As it is right now, I can't do that. Unless I'm missing something, the only option is to take multiple disjointed screenshots of it, or take one big blurry screenshot.

From their website "Note that export is available only if the board owner/co-owner enables the option for board collaborators in the board content settings." You guys could also have a downloadable pdf of it here on the lesson.

Already commented this in a reply but posting it as its own comment.

I actually had both #16 and #19 correct, but changed them both to D on blind review. #16 I understand a little bit more as to why B is the correct answer over D. I still don't think it's a good answer, it's more of a bad correct answer. The way I see it, although I'm still not fully convinced, to choose B over D you have to fully take into account the author's tone and direction of the passage. The author makes no mention of how victims of material theft are compensated, but kind of implies that the norms system works well enough to prevent it from happening frequently, and that the norms system's way of punishment of those that commit material theft is enough to compensate for the losses. (Again still not fully convinced.)

But #19 is ridiculous.

Fully considering the authors tone and topics discussed, I still fail to see how D is incorrect, and how A is correct. The passage goes into explicit detail as to why copyright infringement lawsuits are not used, and, to me, strongly imply their inefficiencies. "The non-existence of such lawsuits is a product of both practical considerations that render the cost of enforcing formal law prohibitively expensive, and legal hurdles that make success difficult and uncertain in lawsuits relating to joke stealing." I don't understand how phrases like "prohibitively expensive" and "legal hurdles" don't imply inefficiencies in the law-based intellectual property systems that D refers to. Furthermore, the second paragraph sets up potential questions that are answered in the third paragraph about why a social norms system is more efficient and effective than law-based IP systems. The last 4 lines of the passage go into why it is an efficient system, directly contrasting lines 8-15's discussion of the failures of an IP system. Like with my reasoning for #16, the author makes no mention of how victims are compensated, which adds to my confusion as to why AC A is the better choice over AC D. Sure, similar to my reasoning for #16, AC A can be reasonably implied from the text as a whole, but so can AC D, and AC D is more explicitly supported. Maybe it's the word 'generally' in D that makes it wrong. Like AC D is saying that norms systems are more efficient in most areas of work, for example research, or film making, or fiction writing. But, I think a person thinking logically in the context of answering this question would take 'generally' to mean, "Generally, in the world of comedians, law-based IP systems work less efficiently than systems based on social norms." That's my best guess.

Those are my 2 cents. If anyone has an explanation for me that could change my mind, please please please please feel free to respond.

Over the course of using 7Sage, I sometimes get headaches and eye fatigue from staring at the bright white layout for long periods of time. Today I got that same eye fatigue and headache and decided to see if 7Sage has a nightmode, and they do! Great! I turned it on and to my disappointment it's just inverted colors and... it's really bad.

First, everything is inverted, and it just looks bad. The color scheme is now elementary school Halloween party, and with profile pictures (and all pictures) being inverted, as another user with my complaint said https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/34156 , gives off paranormal horror film vibes. Scary! Also the results page for drills and prep tests is a complete eyesore. The entire site turns from pretty to ugly :(

The other user I linked to mentioned that there are some problems in the lesson and explanation videos because of the inversion, like when pictures are brought up or when colors are used and referenced. I don't know how that could be fixed other than rerecording each lesson in nightmode (lol,) but out of the hours of videos on the site, those specific issues are so few and far between it's not really an issue to me.

There are also some visual problems not entirely related to aesthetics. The most glaring is the highlight function on drills and prep tests. I like to use all three highlighter colors on reading comprehension, but nightmode's inversion makes the yellow and orange practically indistinguishable. The current nightmode also puts more strain on the eyes. The inversion of everything makes the color scheme visually hard on the eyeballs, and some things are just crazy bright, like the bright orange at the bottom of the screen. Some buttons are harder to read and find, especially when it's a dark orange or dark gray on black. The pitch black background (as opposed to a grayscale design) contributes to the visual fatigue as well. White text on the black background creates a high contrast making everything slightly harder to read.

Currently, nightmode does the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do! I, and I assume many other users, would really enjoy a more visually comfortable studying experience! Please make an update!

Thanx for reading :)))
