Thought that the Always in this was group 2. So wouldn't it be Misguided --> Morally Blameworthy? In the first sentence.
little confused on D still. Is it wrong because they only did SOME observations on each group vs doing observations on ALL the groups?
Wouldn't the word "Yet" make everything behind it just context? That threw me off.
Dang I eliminated D because I thought medical applications was not discussed. Does Medical applications infer to Pure research?
Hey K S. I enjoyed the RC bible. It helped me explain the parts of the passages. Like the structure, Multiple View Points and the authors view point, the tone. And some other things 7sage did not touch on.
Now what I do when i review a passage i always try to point each one of those.
If you have that all down then I wouldnt bother. But thats the most I got out of it. So with RCs methods and 7 sages methods ive improved my score slitely. Now i just have to do a bunch.
can you eliminate B and C for having "or" instead of "and" like in the stimulus?
That's what I did but not sure if it was just a coincidence
Hey I started making note cards. Do you have an iphone or an android? There is this awesome app called gflash+ (n its free). It is a notecard making app and its f'ing amazing. I make note cards on just about every section. The best part about it is that you can actually take Pictures and put it in the note card. Which saves so much time. For example i take pictures of notes on the powerscore bibles and 7sage. Its super easy to use and you can bring it everywhere and studyyyyy. Get It!
Also, just to add something to what erick said. With this app instead of having to cut questions out. You can just take a picture of the question and put notes underneath it. Will save a lot of time! I am actually going to start doing that =)
Great read! thanks for the advice
What is an example of an inference being drawn? I picked D. I thought E was wrong because it was only part of the premise and not the whole thing.
Thats why I figured it was D because i thought it was just using one part of the premise.
Hey Stanley the answer is because you can't have two some statements intersect. That would make it invalid. To be more clear.
A some B
A some C
can you have B some C?
No it would be invalid. Ping explains the invalid forms in other lessons.
That is why
PCM some WS
PCM some SFI
Do not intersect.
but say you have
A ---> B
A some C
Can you have B some C? Yup its valid!
Therefore the only possibilities would be
/LS some WS
/LS some SFI
Cheers!
Hey K S sounds like you have put in a lot of work! How long have you been studying for?
Ya I can see it. Tough one though ha. Thanks for the response!
Answer C is confusing. If you negate C wouldnt it be "Academics are capable of teaching curricula suitable for relevant management training?" Therefore would wreck the arguement?
I'm confused why it is invalid. BT --> SF .... /SF Therefore /BT. Isnt that Form 2 in Valid Arguments. A --> B .. /B therefore /A..
Is "kind of" is translated to some?
Does that mean "kind of" = some on the LSAT?
So tough to infer that you have to split it up like you did.
On question 6. where does the author describe. D "the ability to anticipate later artist"?
I brought this one down to C or B. I chose C. Because I thought D was assuming to much. The reason is I didnt know how much the Discount would be. So discount like you said was 99% one day and then 50% the next day. This one really tripped me up.
Using your labels I can see why A is the answer. MY biggest problem is just labeling the conclusion and premises. For my conclusion I just had AE (Anyone can be an expert) instead of A ==>E = /
Thanks for response ha
