Hello,
I am registered to take the test in September. However, I don’t feel ready for it. I’ve been studying since mid-May with 7Sage, My diagnostic test was 140 then 142. I took another one and scored 150. After finishing the 7Sage LR curriculum I took another one and scored 156 and last week I took another and scored 148. I attribute this 148 to the fact I was not practicing all types of questions, so I forgot some stuff. All these months I’ve been only absorbing concepts and trying to understand some questions, but not really practicing. I started to take practice sections since last week, and I’ve improved a lot. Now that I know the concepts, I want to start practicing and come back to resources if I need to. The thing is that I feel like I want to take ALL the tests and understand the problems properly before the official test, and I do not think I can do that before my official test in September. I know still have a month and a half to get way better, but should pressure myself like that or just extend it one more month? I also wanted to take it in September because of the admission process. I don’t want to apply too late.
Should I just study really hard before the test in September (take like 3 tests weekly) or just cancel and take it in October?
Also, English is my second language so I want to improve my RC way more. I also feel bad because I have seen so many people improving fast but I am not.
I want to score at least 170+

Omg finally done with Logical Reasoning. It took a month and some days to finish these lessons, but I loved it. They are so useful. We got this!

Not necessarily. I don't think you should base your reasoning on the number of premises or sentences. In this case, it was helpful because the wrong answers were straightforward to distinguish. However, in more difficult questions you will need to answer based on your reasoning on conditional logic and universal quantifiers. I hope this helps!
I got so nervous that it took me 18 min to solve the question haha
I got 2/5 on the first try because I wanted to try answering the question based on intuition (just as an experiment).
Then, I tried again and got 5/5 because I analyzed the right and the wrong answers. I spent the necessary time to arrive at the right question as well.
Lesson (at least for me): Do not rely on intuition to answer the question because it won't get me anywhere. Instead, understand the question and answers regardless of how much time you spend on it. I will get better with a lot of practice!

My entire reasoning in one sentence: “Nah, sounds to me more like the author is strawmanning Arnot’s argument."
I do not know if this helps, but what stuck out to me during RRE lessons is that most of the correct answers are not simple solutions/statements. So next time you do RRE questions, look for something more complex that may explain the discrepancy.
You are welcome! But don’t only use this technique you need to also analyze the argument. It doesn’t work for all of them!

haha it took me 20 minutes. Idk why this question was pretty hard for me.
Using the word only or other words that constrain the argument/conclusion to only one cause. As he said, dairy is the only cause of heart disease. Therefore, you must stop eating dairy. I hope this helps.
