Why the fudge was obtain used like that. Even after the explanation my brain still can't make sense of what that sentence is saying uhhhhh
I understand why it is D and I was going to pick D first, but didn't choose D because it says "should" and JY keeps telling us that this is a prescriptive claim and that those are typically wrong. How do I know when should is acceptable and when it is not?
8.3 & 8.4 why do those have a different order for translation?
Does "or both" have any effect? I am confused if lesson 21 disccusing "or" and the three different meanings have any effect on the outcome of the translation.
I am confused what the difference is between sufficient and necessity when determining how to translate it into lawgic. The order for suffiency makes sense to me, but not the order for necessity.
Finally got one of these right. HALLELUJAH. but took me 5 mins to do so lol. i'm concerned how I'd tackle this on the test when it takes so much brain power and time.
I picked C and can see why thats wrong, but I still don't understand why A makes any sense. I feel like it's making a random blanket statement that the stimulus doesn't address. Where do archaeological considerations come into play? What do they have to do with anything besides being archaeological?
I picked D because it gave a reason showing why his conclusion is strengthened. This confuses me because I feel like in the other strengthening questions this would have been correct. But in applying rule application it is incorrect. How do we know when it is looking for the two different types of answers? please help
Damn, wish I knew what deleterious meant OY
I understand that E goes beyond copywritings' original purpose, but in the previous lesson with the stinging nettles we had to make the answer correlate with what was said in the stimulus. But here we did not have to do that. So I am confused. #help
I'd like to join!
If one speaker expresses on opinion, get rid of WHICH answer? I'm a little confused here
I understand that a hypothesis is an explanation for phenomena, but in the 'explanation' lesson in this section the word explanation was used to describe the phenomena that caused the target phenomena. Firstly, is my understanding correct? Secondly, can explanation be both? Please explain! lol no pun intended
So in terms of speed and if we are unsure about the answer and think it will take up too much time, you don't think its best if we just pick a random answer, which gives us a chance at being right versus just skipping the question? Will it do more harm than good to pick a random answer as opposed to not picking an answer at all? pls help!
