I chose E and I thought that E disagrees but I should think deeper next time because salvador saying that we should not buy any ivory at all includes new ivory and so answer choice E is agreed by both speakers. this quesiton was tough!

Wow number 2 really got me thinking. I was stuck between C and D. Do infants prefer one bright color over another? I was like sure?? but then I was like ... I actually don't know. I went back to the stimulus and could just find that I know that they prefer bright colors because they could distinguish. I know they could distinguish between bright colors but I don't know if they prefer one bright color over others. That's why I reluctantly or rather felt D was slightly safer. Although D felt a bit strange but I couldn't really find anything that disproves it like sure the wording is a bit strange but that sale of the toy could reflect an aspect of infant preference. They prefer bright colors.

Keeping in mind these 4 hypotheses are definitely going to be helpful. I often confuse between 1 and 2 when I assume that A causes B and not the other way around when the phenomenon is common sense. I have to be attentive to what the sentence says and think of these 4 possibilities. It could be a 3rd factor that causes both A and B or there isn't even a causal relationship at all. Guess I gotta train and familiarize :)

I notice that I do have pre-confusion and I really have to be keeping that in my mind because I struggle with doing a question thinking that I am confident of my choice of answer but didn't realize that I actually needed to understand a specific skill first in order to tackle more of those types of questions.

I thought it was really helpful to see that correlation could allow for exceptions to happen. Just because A is positively correlated to B does not mean that it wont allow for instances where A is not positively correlated to B

I feel assured when I got more correct when I dialed down the difficulty to 14%. Guess gotta start low and work my way up slow. I guess I'm doing the slow and steady approach?
