One thing that has REALLY helped me with these is something JY said once in an explanation video: one cannot disagree with something they don't have an opinion on. Basically, if the author doesn't say anything about a specific answer choice, don't just assume they haver an opinion on it! This has helped me with process of elimination and remembering that there is only ONE right answer
ahh finally got the light switch moment! I was struggling so badly with this, but I went from getting a 0/5 to a 4/5 in my blind review by changing my strategy. What I did was the following:
1. only read the first opinion (ignore the second), and use the argument from the 1st opinion to find answers that have some support. I eliminate answers that have no support/no opinion by the author. This left me with either 1 or 2 choices. If its 1 then i circle that as my answer and don't even bother reading the second opinion (not sure if its right but it worked?)
2. If I have 2 choices then I read the second opinion, and the answer literally jumps at you!
I just eliminate the answers that the first opinion does not mention and gives no support to, because like JY said that that "one cannot disagree with something they don’t have an opinion on." So if the first opinion doesn't mention it then its safe to eliminate. If the first opinion mentions it AND gives it some support then I keep it. This helps with POE.
For example: If opinion A says, "All cats are mamals" but the answer says something along the lines of "All cats are not mamals, only all dogs are mamals" (might be stupid example) then I eliminate it because
1. it gets no support from A
2. A does not mention anything about dogs.
Please correct if i am wrong or if theres a better way!
I'd only add to be very careful of being too dismissive. I can imagine questions whereby the answer may seemingly have no connection, but can be implied (and perhaps this would be easier to identify by comparing against the response), and therefore could be a possible correct answer. For this, I prefer to read the stimulus completely before considering the answers. But that's just me!
Just a reminder that these drills are scaled to challenge us based on our previous drill successes. So most of us are probably getting different questions/levels of questions.
If you want to discuss the answers on a specific question [within these drilling parts of the curriculum] , it's best to open that question's discussion panel to find answers, since people in this general board may not have encountered them.
I was doing the same thing and nothing was helping until is started drilling the easier questions first until I got them all right. now am moving on to medium and consequently hard. its always good to start at the easier questions and not to psychoanalyze yourself.
5/5!! I've started to do better now that I don't rush the questions to make good time. I think for now I'll just focus on my accuracy and once I feel confident, I'll focus on having good timing

blind review is being weird. it told me I got 60% but then when it suggested which questions to review it selected 4/5 questions. well now I'm doubting all my answers and changed one of my correct answers to be incorrect??? why won't it just tell me which ones I got wrong geez
@SarahHolmes754 if you hover on the info button for blind review, it'll tell you which you got wrong and also will mark it for blind review if you took more time than usually needed on the question even if you got it correct

This is the first time I got all 5 right at these end-of-module drills! I was feeling really discouraged from some of the past drills.
If you are struggling with any module or type of question, just remember how many times this course states:
It's okay to get questions wrong
everybody gets questions wrong
you are not stupid, slow, or dumb at all whatsoever
If you have gotten this far into this course, you do have incredible self-discipline, and YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH TO BECOME AN ATTORNEY!!!!
