@calliekoskovich yeah that's why i eliminated a. was not relevant to the questions asked. but i know if they worded the question stem better i wouldve easily gotten it. if you figure out why a is right given the question stem formatting lmk
@mzughaerr does anyone know how to analyze like kevin but quickly to retain the info? his breakdowns really do help me remember the info and retain key points
@kk558 ah smart. thank you!
In RC, I'm having trouble with locating where I need to be per a question stem. Sometimes the same or a similar concept is throughout the passage, and the point we need is just hidden among words and words of text. How can I locate where I need to be faster?
how are we supposed to make our own notes on the actual test if we cant annotate? i know we get scratch paper but how are we supposed to match each paragraph break including the ones we make, etc
but how do you know that we only have two options?? (spacecraft or alien intelligence) what if there is another way??
i dont get it, isnt "any" extreme? what if we could reduce the rate of traffic by some illogical way, like making the law that you cant have pets? should it still be implemented? e feels too broad
i got a 5/5 but my timing is not good. for two questions i was 4 minutes over. i am a beginner at lsat prep but i think even though timing shouldnt be a pressure rn that's kind of absurd?
I ATE THAT UPPPPPPPP
@katrina or what if their habitat was bigger but unsustainable and didn't have food or water and had predators?
@katrina also, there was a question similar to this where i did assume that the animals were to stay in their own habitat, but it was wrong and the explanation warned of not assuming these kinds of things
why are you assuming that you have to increase the habitat? what if experts put them in a controlled, enclosed space to help breed more panthers (250+), but it isn't their original habitat?
i got it right, but in my notes i wrote that it's ok to not be economically successful; as long as you protect liberties, you're successful. so i feel like the answer i chose (c) was the strongest but has nothing to do with guaranteeing overall success, as the present administration protected individual liberties anyways?
i dont get why d is the answer. what if there are other forms of art not included? premodern only focuses on painting and sculpture. if we take music out of the equation, that is good, but what if premodern doesn't focus on drawings for example?
What are some important causal words we should recognize, like "produce?"
@smorua1202932 I couldn't find it. Do you know the date it was posted?
can you say that /active <-s-> participant -> certificate can be equal to /certificate -> /participant <-s-> active?
I understand that we are trying to deny the "some" intersection, but why can't negating "some A are B" lead to "few A are B" if it is smaller on the hierarchy?
all->most->many->some->few
@natcat When do you know whether to use the contrapositive technique or the negation technique?
@Igotthis123 Yes. Honestly you don't even need that much information to conclude that O is adopted; knowing M is adopted is sufficient.
I don't get how you can just pick any idea and choose if it's going to be the sufficient or necessary condition. Shouldn't we understand what the sentence is trying to say too?
I did a very quick scan and chose B. but then i went through the rest of the questions and eliminated them even though i was sure of my answer. is this a good or bad tactic? if i think i got the answer, is it worth double checking? what if i missed something?
