🤔 Curious

Question Re Inputting LawHub PTs

I know that when you first link your 7Sage and LawHub Advantage, it imports your PrepTests. Is there a way to input PrepTests taken on LawHub Advantage after that first time? I recently took a Preptest on LawHub and would prefer not to have to "retake" it just for the analytics--which wouldn't be accurate anyways, at least timing wise.

Any ideas?

I use the notes for a WAJ, but would love if there was a way to review the notes all together, rather than only on the question itself. If someone is using only 7Sage, then the WAJ in the notes of each question doesn’t facilitate recognizing the patterns of your mistakes across multiple questions. I use an excel spreadsheet for that reason

How come sometimes it's okay to make an inference on conditional reasoning and sometimes it's not? For example, question two inferred that "avoided training" implies "NOT well-trained" but "reach full potential" does not imply "Pokemon evolved"? I saw the video explanation that "avoided training" suggests /training --> /well-trained, but doesn't that make exactly the sort of assumption we're asked to spot on other types of questions?

For #5, how do you know when to translate the whole clause "family ties become frayed and snap" as one statement rather than two? For example, why is it not "family ties become frayed" and "family ties snap"

i.e. why is does it not translate to:

/communication --> (family ties fray) AND (family ties snap)

/(family ties fray) OR /(family ties snap) --> communication

🤗 Hopeful

Request for Google Calendar Integration

When I was RSVPing for classes, I saw the save to calendar icon and got excited because it's so much easier to check my calendar than to login to 7Sage to remember what classes I want to take. But it's only Outlook. :(

Would love if this feature could be integrated with Google calendar, too!

I agree with the majority here—the ability to customize drills before launching into the questions is an extremely helpful feature. People who are just starting out on drills or have testing accommodations need to be able to adjust the time to their needs. It’s useful to have the ability to pick specific question types so you can hone in on your weaknesses and drill what’s challenging for you. It’s also helpful to adjust the number of questions and difficulty level—so you can fully customize the type of drill you’re taking. Personally, I always customize a drill in at least one way. I haven’t ever jumped into a drill with the default settings. Please change this setting back to allow for the customization of drills.

@Kevin_Lin thanks for your response! yes, a diagram explanation would be much more helpful when conditional reasoning is involved, especially to spot any issues with translating the stimulus into logic

@J.Y.Ping The person sharing their screen cannot see the chat or tell who's talking. It would be nice if the study room features were more akin to Zoom or Teams, with the ability to see the chat, video/profile pictures and the screen you're sharing at the same time

I only use the written explanations, but often find that they do not provide enough explanation for their reasoning. It is especially frustrating when questions with formal logic, such as conditional reasoning questions, do not provide the mapped out logic. For example, the analysis for the stimulus may or may not provide a logic map, and the answer choices usually do not provide a logic map. I would like to see more written explanations that include a logic map of what that answer choice says and why it is wrong (i.e. it does not match with what the question is asking or does not fit into the formal logic of the stimulus). A lot of the explanations just say "this is not supported." without explaining why and how.

Study Group in NOVA/DC

Hello! I'm interested in starting/joining a study group in northern Virginia or DMV area.

I am not registered for an LSAT yet for this cycle, but I've taken the LSAT before. I work full time, so evenings or weekends would work best for me.
