Even though it is not binding and it was foolish to maybe put in that essay, it is my word...and that is why I am thinking I will probably withdraw before they have the chance to admit me...that is what I am still leaning toward.

thank you @mattglandry311 I did not apply ED to any school. It is just that line I put in the "why school x" essay...for school number 1...because of how distant the other schools are for me (after 1 and 2) it was like a hail mary toss lol

The other thing I should have added is that based on my current numbers in the 7sage predictor and when i submitted my application, i have a 44% chance of getting in at all to the no 1 school, so i think it is possible that i could get in but with little or no money compared to what i got for school no 2

Same, the other was like all the game sections I have ever done. Games is my strongest section but all these games felt so weird, especially compared to the other set. I felt like they were all somewhat complicated, compared to the first one where the first is usually a freebie and so on. Super upsetting

Same here, I thought I did okay on the other set of games, but the set with the bank game, I had no idea what I was doing.

I think this is fairly on point. I've worked with a lot of people who have tried to overcome their deficiencies through picking up more and more resources. While it's certainly true that different teaching styles and methodologies are more or less effective for different people, additional resources are unlikely to yield additional understanding unless there is a significant qualitative increase.

I just made the mistake @jhaldy10325 is talking about (again) picking up Manhattan LR. I would also take what he said about additional resources being unlikely to further your understanding further. If it is the case where you don't further your understanding, as you were seeking, then that time past without you moving toward your goal. In addition, each resource is going to use at least some differences (question classification, approach, etc) and depending on the differences and how you adjust to them it could actually have an additional consequence, besides just lost time. For resources, I would say find something that clicks and make sure you give it time. I have used a lot of different resources (LR Bible, Manhattan, LSAT Trainer, Blueprint, 7 Sage). The combination that seems to work best for me has been Trainer and 7Sage (only using trainer for LR). I would also say that the LR Bible, in my case, had some of those additional consequences. In my case, I know that I didn't give the trainer the time I should have, expecting faster results.

Filthy. Didn't even read D or E. That "properly drawn"....had me thinking I was doing Sufficient Assumption and so when I got to C I was like thank you for the time in the bank LSAC. Just filthy, but with qualified admiration.

#help I originally eliminated all of the answers before deciding D was the best answer, but I still didn't feel "great" about D. My reasoning was that D seems to be about the number of rats that had abnormally high blood pressure before the study began. If I do not know the total number of rats involved in the study, how would this information help me? What am I missing?

You shouldn't blame the boxer for the death of his opponent in the recent boxing match, after all, he was just doing his job and he has a responsibility to put food on his families table. It is not the boxer but the promoter who creates the environment for the match to occur. Therefore, it is the promoter whose livelihood depends on the spectacle whom is truly responsible for the death.

I have two (kinda). (1) @alextobin14717 proposed topic of "when seeking a consultant may be beneficial"...I like this idea...but there are two "whens" maybe... (a) like depending on an individuals circumstances (b) like temporal as in how long before you are going to be applying, how much time in advance one would need to procure such services. I would mainly be interested in a blog on the second "when" (b)

(2) Before @alextobin14717 entry I thinking about negotiating offers...something I hope I will need to be able to do (eventually) :) . You touched on this a little when a question was proposed about ED to VA, and I would love a blog that gave more of the insight into the negotiating of scholarship offers.

Powerscore just promotes an unrealistic strategy that is a major waste of time. Low resolution summary is the way to go. Don't bother trying to turn RC passages into a diagramming exercise like Powerscore would have you believe is the best approach. RC is about reading...so spend your time on the passage doing only that.

I found powerscore rc gimmicky with as mentioned lots of marking up of passages that didn't really help me

Some culinary critics of how much John charges for his bbq ribs have maintained that only if people can taste the brown sugar in his bbq ribs will the cost he charges be justified. If the culinary critics were right about this, then John's bbq ribs would not be the best selling ribs in Chicago that even its critics acknowledge.

In the 3 months Cindy gained lots of weight, Average Joe's gym contributed to her gaining of weight by closing earlier on Tuesdays. Prior to Cindy gaining lots of weight (fat not muscle), the electric company increased the cost they were charging for electricity. Clearly, therefore, Average Joe's gym will stay open later on Tuesdays if the electric company reduces the cost they charge electricity.

Cookie cutter argument: We should go see the new 007 movie instead of the new transformers movie, at least if we want to see a movie with lots of action, because even though the 007 movie has fewer heroes, the 007 movie has a more believable plot.
