this was very helpful as i interpreted the same was as the comment above. thank you.
i either just automatically get it in like seconds (super rare) or im staring at it for ages contemplating my life and then baffled with what the correct AC it actually is after i just did not understand any of them anyway
simply put. i am just not seeming to get or to be able to think through what the task at hands is. does anyone have any suggestions or just a simple way to explain to maybe my brain can just stick it?
ive never encountered a question where i got it wrong but was like ok silly me. here im just even more silly me because i just do not even understand this slightly lol #help
i feel like this seems obvious. but until a few LR lessons ago i was like "why do br if i can just spend all the time i need now" - but changing this mentality and really seeing the beauty of what did i actually grasp from my first reading to what i thought and then working through should not be. overlooked. also, i write down why i think each answer is wrong (mainly in one word, like "irrelevant" "wrong thing") which i do think has helped with my general understanding. got it from tiktok this girl saying "yes its good to know why the right is right, but better to know why the wrong is wrong", and writing them helps me to remember patterns, etc.
for me personally, not sure if youve been doing this, but ive started to take the question under the proper timed conditions, and just really go with gut if there isnt time to slightly work through. then do the work in br. prior i would just ignore time and not do br (since i wouldve spent 6 minutes or whatever on it anyway), but this has significantly improved my work. ive gotten many right confidently under the target time, and others im normally debating between right and the most attractive AC.
am i the only one here who just got way too unnecessarily confused by "but not otherwise" LOL
when i picked e in a timely manner. changed to b in BR. noticed properly the N and S conditions in both e and b, but somehow misplaced the N and B condition in the stimulus. my brain does not want to grasp on this concept for whatever reason. if anyone has a little like fun example or something to get this fundamental concept to stick in my brain would be greatly appreciated!!
lol me. i try to do it timed then work through it all in BR. i picked d timely but spent sooooo long going through my top 2 choices debating. when i saw it was rated 1 i literally said out loud wow all that struggle for the easiest ones okkkaayyyy :((((
i don't know if this is a valid way to continue but why i changed from c to a in blind review was i felt c if anything helped justify the conclusion whereas a seemed helped to justify the reasoning the speaker presented which is what the stem asked of us
i got it right but debated it for this reason as well. but watching the video back im now thinking i shouldnt have tripped up on it since in these questions types as stated in the stem we need to take the answer choices as all being true. so in this case that word wouldnt have mattered since we can assume that this did happen. i always forget these answers choices are true lol. so much to remember
I feel like i am having such a hard time trying to grasp and fully get these weakened questions. does anyone have any general tips that helped them??
WOULD it be recommened that i attempt to master these drills before moving onto the next section?
In these questions and scenarios, is it safe to say that i am to really tune into my knowledge of the world to grasp the valid/invalid argument in terms of the sizes of the sets? this may be obvious but sometimes just easier to have confirmation on it
i am having a hard time grasping this concept. does anyone know a way to explain to help me try and understand better?
i appreciate this. makes more sense to me thanks!
I am having trouble understanding why (for the most part) the 2nd sentences in section 3 are not considered a "sub conclusion" but rather part of the premise (e.g. But this is not a sustainable, long term solution)
dude literally me lol. the second i read it i was like wait did i actually understand s/n perfectly for once without second guessing
