In at Penn!
@gregoryalexanderdevine723 Wow that's the dream for me. You should check the motivational post by @45656, it helped me a lot. Also know that I went from low 160's to my first take of 174 in December -- anything is possible
@leahbeuk911 Thanks for sharing the mylsn tables, it's really helpful. Been on the site a few times but never know how to interpret it since there are such few data points for splitters. You should definitely keep berkeley and cornell on the list, as I know several people with similar stats who got in last cycle. Good luck!
Well done!
@uhinberg359 Thanks for the insight, that's definitely reassuring. What do you think about ED2 Penn with my stats? It's not my first choice over columbia/NYU but I'd be really happy to go there. Appreciate your input
Haha this happened to me. Is there any chance they scored it wrong? Has never happened before but you never know :worried:
I'd try to incorporate your DS topic into your PS, if there's space. I know they don't like redundancy  Hope this helps
Hey guys,
My stats are 174 LSAT, 3.15 GPA from top 15 university, non-URM, and decent softs. I'm preparing my applications to send sometime next week. Blanketing the top 14 (minus HYS) and adding UCLA, Vandy, USC, WUSTL, and Emory. I'm considering applying ED2 Penn -- anyone know how my chances would look?
As I've read literally everywhere, my GPA means this cycle is going to be an unpredictable one. I was wondering if anyone had any splitter success stories, or words of advice to help keep my motivation up. For those studying for the LSAT or applying right now, good luck!
Peace,
AP
Thanks!! @nikitamunjal950 I'm applying to Top 20 except for Yale. I'm an extreme splitter with a 3.1ish gpa, so this cycle is going to be crazy unpredictable. Hoping for the best though! Haha
@marcomarcodelloro134 Thanks dude! I believe in you. Happy holidays
@kimberleemcmillin935 That’s amazing! Now I’m rushing to finish the rest of my app lol
@mpark096218 Just got my score! Really happy with it
I just got my score back, after over 48 hours of waiting... 174! I'm so happy with this as I had been PT'ing at 167-169. Especially after registering and cancelling September because I didn't feel ready.
I just wanted to thank you guys for keeping me sane during this entire process and guiding me in the right direction. 7sage curriculum really helped me and I was on autopilot during the test. For anyone who didn't quite get the score they wanted, don't give up hope! Any one of us can improve our mastery of the fundamentals and there will always be time to retake. Just gotta put in the work and believe in yourself. I really appreciate you guys!
P.S. My IRR and disclosure book weren't available after getting the score. Should I be concerned?
Best,
Matt
@mpark096218 well, I just called them and they said the test isn’t lost. They also said they’re trying to upload more scores today, but may not get through them all until Jan 2nd (wtf). Still something seems fishy though
@plspeer434 yea did you post on reddit too? I hope nothing happened and our scores are just late
Anyone here take it at TSU? https://www.reddit.com/r/LSAT/comments/7lm7ex/anyone_still_waiting/
@mpark096218 No, but I wonder what would cause this
@mpark096218 inb4 they lost my test
@plspeer434 Same. We just gotta wait it out and worst case contact them tomorrow. They're saving the best for last
Nah. What's the chance it will be released before the holiday break? Still holding out for my score
Me neither! :disappointed:
@uhinberg359
Ordered some wopex pencils to use on my PT tomorrow... thanks for the rec!
@adipick708 Yeah I ended up doing ED2. Thanks! I'm so excited.
@uhinberg359 Honestly it was a toss up between penn and nyu for my 2nd choice after columbia, but I think ED was the right move with my extreme splitter status and the increase in high scoring apps this cycle. Do you know if this means I have a 0% chance of money?
