I'm looking for a study buddy for the upcoming January 2021 test. I have taken this test multiple times and I score in the high 160s. I have never done as well as my PTs (usually in the low 170s) and I want to change the ways I study (including studying with other people) for what will hopefully be my LAST test in January. If you are going through the same thing as me and preparing for Jan test, please be my buddy!

MORE DETAILS per request

Hi Everyone!! Thank you so much for your comments. I didn't really think there would be such a high level of interest or people studying for the January test (given how late it is). My weakest section is LR. I would love to work with someone whose strongest section is LR. I can't really help you if you are looking for a buddy that can help you with LR. MY strongest section, on the other hand, is LG! I am really good at LG and I can help you if you are aiming to get -0 or -1. Ideally, I would love to work with someone looking to improve on LG, but scores well consistently in LR. Thanks!

Hello! I work 45-60 hours per week and try to study 2 hours a day every weekday and up to 4 hours a day on weekends. Looking for an accountability partner because I'd like to take the March or April LSAT (best case scenario). Right now my average is about a 164, and I would love someone who scores at my range or slightly above it to be partners with. I'm on Pacific Standard Time.

Wanting to start a study group for those taking the LSAT in or around February. We can use WhatsApp or another form of messaging to help each other out and keep ourselves accountable. Since I have around 3 months to study I want to learn as effectively as possible.

I’m looking to join or create a study group for anyone taking the January test, I’m applying this cycle and have been studying full time due to being unemployed from COVID-19 and looking for other serious people to BR with and learn from

Hello!

I'm looking to add one more study partner to a small group for the January LSAT. Looking for someone who is working toward achieving a 170+ on the January Flex and will be extremely serious about their prep for the next 2.5ish months. If you're interested, dm me with some info about how your prep is going thus far and a time when you'll be free to chat on the phone today.

Nov 17 Update: We still have 1-2 spots open for our group! So far our sessions have been really great so please reach out if you're interested, have similar goals, and are available to BR PTs on Mondays and Tuesdays, 6-9PM ET.

Hello 7sage community! A couple of us are trying to form a small and serious study group for the January 2021 flex exam. Looking for 2-3 more people available 6-9PM ET on Mondays and Tuesdays to so that we can keep each other accountable, stay consistent, and also have fun so that we can conquer this beast together.

My study timeline is to go through PTs 80-89 from now until the January date in chronological order. That is mostly 1 PT per week and we can increase it to 2 PTs per week as it comes closer to the exam. We'll BR together and help teach each other the material and fill in each other's weak spots. My goal score is the 90th percentile (~165); I'm pretty much average across each section (missing roughly -5 to -8 in all 3 sections but I do best in LG). Given that we are also studying through the holidays, I've also scheduled in breaks because I think it's so so important to be able to let the material digest and to recuperate!

We will be communicating on Discord because it's easy and has a voice chat feature for groups where we can talk together. Discord is multi-faceted and we can have various channels for different topics, so I hope this study group can also be a place where we can really foster a community rather than just talking about the test 24/7 like let's send each other pictures of our pets or the food you're eating or whatever Netflix show you're binging haha. (OR memes. Because memes.)

I am definitely not great at taking standardized tests (I never have been lol) and hope that this study group makes people feel less alone in the struggle to conquer LSAT. If you feel like you have similar goals and commitments to what I described please shoot me a message or comment below, thank you!!

Hey everyone,

Anyone out there taking the Feb or April LSAT and looking for a study buddy/ acct. partner? I work full-time. Evenings are usually best for me. Please let me know if interested. I really want to do well & need help.

Hey everyone!!

I'd really love to arrange a small study group with availability on the weekends to potentially do Zoom study sessions in preparation of the Feb 2021 LSAT! I was thinking we could do PTs once a week to start, then we can BR during the Zoom calls and discuss our thought processes. (I'm of course open to other ideas of what to incorporate as well.)

Comment your email address if you're interested and I can combine a group email thread!

Hi All,

I started a study group and have a few participating members but some are taking the Nov test and as such will be moving on. I am currently scoring in the mid 160's consistently and do work full time but I work from home and for the most part it's flexible to some extent. I would like to find a group of like minded people who are taking the January or February test to meet weekly and cover one weekly PT and meet weekly to cover 2 LR sections and maybe one passage from RC. If you're interested please let me know! I can start a groupme chat to facilitate communication, just send me your email and download groupme chat if you don't already have it.

Best,

M

Hi there, I'm thinking of creating a Study Groups for Jan LSAT. I got a 155 on my October LSAT, currently PTing around 157-159, hope to break 160 and maybe even 165 on the Jan LSAT. Looking for people with roughly the same stats and goal to form a Study/accountability group. I'm thinking maybe we could set up a schedule and analysis our PTs and drills together for a couple of times per week via zoom. DM me if you are interested or email me wenxusunch@gmail.com

Hello!

I am currently signed up for the January flex and am looking for around 1-3 study partners that are interested in keeping each other accountable with practice tests/sections and having weekly zoom meetings where we review said practice tests/sections. I've been studying for the LSAT for around 3 months now and have a pretty solid foundation, but I still struggle with LR and RC in particular (missing roughly 6 to 7 questions on average for each section). I'm averaging -1/-3 on LG. I've created a study plan leading up to the January flex, and it pretty much consists of doing 3-4 individual sections and 1 full test per week with an option to increase practice tests per week as we get closer to the January test.

If this interests you, I'd love to chat over zoom or just speak on the phone so we can discuss whether our goals align and decide if we'd be compatible study partners. I know 1-3 people seems like a pretty exclusive number, but exclusivity is in no way my intention for this group...I just personally feel that I work much better in a setting with fewer people. Also, I'm studying FULL TIME for this LSAT and would prefer to work with people who are doing the same. My goal is for this to be a pretty serious study group, so if you feel that you may not be able to keep up with the study plan outline that I've mentioned, this may not be the right group for you. In addition, my goal for the zoom meetings is for the group members to teach each other certain questions or topics that the others are struggling with; I'm personally a strong believer in the idea that teaching others helps cement your own mastery of question types or topics you're particularly good at.

Also, considering that this final push towards the January LSAT will be mentally straining on all of us, I'm looking for people who are willing to make this a more enjoyable experience for the others in the group. This means anything from sharing any good tv/movie recommendations, to giving each other tips on physical and mental health exercises that help make this study process a little more bearable. This can also mean just chatting over zoom about random stuff thats been particularly bothersome or difficult in our day to day lives. I firmly believe that having a small community of people who can relate to you makes whatever you're going through a little bit easier!

I know this may not be for everyone, but if you're looking to take a deep dive into the LSAT for the next 2-ish months and finally conquer this test once and for all, send me a personal message and we can set up a time to meet over zoom/the phone and discuss our goals and ambitions . Thanks for taking the time to read this, wishing all of you luck in your study endeavors!!

Heyo! Taking the November LSAT soon and was thinking of perhaps having a study partner or two leading up to the final days of the exam! Thinking of calling/Zoom around 10 PM PST and going over Flex tests. PT-ing around low 160s, BR high 160s-170 so looking for someone to also work together to improve timed score! Comment email and let's chat!

Hi All!

Looking to find a study buddy or group (the more the merrier) that would be open to working together and helping each other out towards doing as well as possible on this January's LSAT. I'm currently about half way through the 'Sufficient Assumption & Pseudo Sufficient Assumption Questions' section and am starting to struggle a bit for the first time in this course. Would love to set up maybe a group me, google doc, and maybe hold weekly video chats to really get the most out of this program and help one another make it as immersive as possible. Let me know if your interested/ have ideas to add! Thanks in advance!

Best of luck,

Sal

Hey there. I heard talking through Blind Review is a great way to learn, so trying my luck! The next PT I'm going to take is 87, then 86, 85... working backwards from the most recent. I'm taking the November flex, so have to be really strategic and keep it to the 80s/most recent tests. I aim to take about three a week. For reference, my recent average is 164. I have a flexible schedule and am on Eastern Time.

I've heard good things from people on here about getting a BR study buddy so here goes! I'm taking a PT in the next few days (taking on Wednesday, hope to BR on Thursday) and would like someone to blind review my answers with. Ideally I'll be taking a test in the high 60s (haven't decided which one yet), but I'm flexible. If you're also taking a prep test this week and would like someone to go over your blind review answers with, please comment or send me a message. Just for reference, I'm scoring around a 163 and have done all the PTs in the 80s except for 88 and 89.

Hello 7Sagers,

I have seen a couple of January study groups but haven’t had any luck so far. I am looking for a couple study partners who are currently scoring in the high 150s hoping to break 165+ in January. Right now, I am taking one PT a week, taking a full day to blind review, and working through what I have left of the CC.

I am mostly looking for people who would want to talk through strategy, work through the harder questions and help keep each other accountable to our study schedules.

If this interests you, please drop your email below. Thanks!

Hi there

As of today, I have been studying for the LSAT for about 3 months. My timed PTs were literally in all parts of the 150s. I only used the LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim during these three months, and I think this helped me to understand the really fundamentals well. I believe this is the case because --- I know some people feel really icky about untimed PTs --- I took about 10 untimed PTs, and they were never lower than 165. So, I decided to buckle up and study for this test a little more with 7sage (yes, from the beginning of the core curriculum) and apply next cycle perhaps.

I think I'm relatively good at studying by myself, but I think it would also be really nice to have a study partner of sorts and someone whom I can check in maybe every week or every other week with about our progresses (or regresses, it happens). If you are interested in something like his, please privately message me :)!

Hi all!

I'm taking the November and January LSATs and honestly don't really have that much time to study as I have a full time job and a generally pretty busy lifestyle. Instead of study buddies that are more hands-on, I simply need somebody that can be an accountability buddy that will make sure that I am spending some time studying at all. I am scoring in early to mid 160s and hope to score 170+ by January. Is there anybody in a similar situation that wants to join me in pushing each other? As well, I am applying to Canadian schools, so if there is anybody here that might want to swap application info with, that'd be great too.

Thanks!

Hi community! I am taking the November test and looking for accountability/BR partner. Currently scoring in the mid 160s and am trying to get close to 170 -- might be an unrealistic/ambitious goal as test date is close. LR/RC are my weaker sections, they alternate depending on the test, LG is 0 to -2. I am in the east coast and currently working + doing a masters, but I can be flexible during evening time/weekends. My goal is to take and BR at least 2 PTs a week and also go over LR fundamentals/basics and practice them with one or two study partners. Please let me know if you'd like to work together or have any tips for test takers struggling with LR (LR was -7 to -9 but brought it down to -4 to -5 after going through Loophole, but since then no improvement)!
