Hi everyone, first time poster here. 7sage helped me a lot during my LSAT journey from 159 June 2024 to 170 September 2024. I just received admission letter from Columbia Law School (ED). Feel free to ask me anything.

So I have an LSAT score on file which is good enough to apply to my safety schools (which I have already done). I'm taking the LSAT again in January and hoping for a higher score. Would it be better to go ahead and send my application out to the schools I'm looking to apply to in December/January and have them hold the application until my score comes out? Or should I just submit my application closer to the day my score comes out? Do these situations make any difference to when the school will actually look at the application/make a decision? I have heard that since schools are rolling, applicants that already have their application on file (even the ones on hold) will be first in line when the score comes out. Is that true? Thanks!
Hi guys! For a while I’ve been running an online group where we host free weekend classes. If any of yall are looking for a group to join it’s a really positive and encouraging atmosphere. Hope to see yall there! https://discord.gg/ems-lsat-study-group-1262843563239280782
Hey all, I'm looking for study buddies who are in the 155-165 range available to study/drill/review together to prepare for the Jan LSAT. Studying alone can sometimes be boring and not motivating so looking to find motivated people who want to try to get 170s on the jan lsat!! Comment if you are interested and we can do a zoom session. Im from Canada EST
Hi everyone,
I’ve finished the 7Sage curriculum and just read The Loophole. I’m wondering if anyone who has read The Loophole would be interested in working on some questions together. I’d like to practice using the Party Trick and the Powerful/Provable Primers. Let me know!
I’ve been having issues with RC. When I review questions or watch videos, all it gives me is the breakdown of the passage and doesn’t help with real-time issues regarding how I should map out the passage under time constraints. I either write too little or I write too much; I either eat up time going back to the passage or I spend too much on the diagram and run out of time for the Qs, respectively. Does anyone have a better system, preferably one that references the structure and a low resolution summary?
Hey everyone,
I just took the LSAT in November and scored a 147. After studying for 5 to 6 months I was pretty bummed by my score. Since then, I've been grinding and have consistently been scoring between 155 and 158 throughout 8 to 9 practice tests. I was wondering what tactic's you used/ what you studied to get from the mid 150's to the low 160's. I'm taking the test in January again in 4 weeks and am wondering if this is even attainable if I put in 40 hours a week studying. Thanks :)

We just gave our Law School Predictor a major update. Please check it out and let me know what you think! I'm eager to hear how else we can improve it.
Where can I find the breakdown of the test by question type? I'd like to use this to prioritize which question types I spend the most time studying. Apologies if the answer to this can already be found elsewhere
What is the purpose of Blind Review on drills and PT's? It says strongly recommends.
We won't have that option when taking the exam, so to me it just feels like it makes me second guess myself.
Hi guys,
Looking for a virtual study buddy to go over questions with and explain questions and answers to each other - can be daily or weekly or something in between, very flexible on time. I'm roughly in the 170+ range, but happy to study with anyone (though might be more beneficial for both of us if you test in the 160s or higher).
Central time zone but not necessary!
Feeling discouraged after October test results were lower than scores on PTs. Advice for how to start studying again and improve for January or February test? Is it possible to improve score by 10 points in that timeframe?
Just wondering if anybody had much insight into why blind review scores would repeatedly be the same, if not lower, then the original PT score?
TIA!
"....is committed to fostering a culture where diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion are ingrained into everything we do. You are encouraged to submit an optional essay that reflects how you can add to or support that commitment."
This is the prompt for one of the law schools I am looking at. I am clarifying. Is this asking how I am diverse and will add to the diversity of the campus? Or is it asking to demonstrate how diversity is important to me and how I am committed to it?
Hey All,
First off, I am looking for a study buddy that is a full time parent & works a full time job. We need to make time & hold each other accountable!!!
Second, I have a channel dedicated towards the LSAT test days.
For every testing, I do a message for every date there is a test.
It’s beneficial when you’re already overthinking that big day!!!

Are classes at 6pm pt now no more? It was the perfect schedule for some of us on the westcoast that work 😭
I'm having a hard time understanding my results after blind review. In terms of answer key and such. Is the first part of your answer column the first answer I picked? And is the second next to it what I changed in blind review? What is the color of the correct answer? Ugh I hope this makes sense. I guess is there like a key to use to decipher? Blue means incorrect, pink means right, but at what point did I get it right? How do I know if I changed a right answer to a wrong answer after blind review?
Just took my first LSAT in November and was very disappointed with my score, feeling like it didn't represent my abilities on this test. My PT average leading up to the test was a 166-167, and I scored a 166 on PT158 (under normal test day conditions) just 2 days prior to taking the LSAT. I ended up scoring a 158 on the real exam.
I will need to be a super splitter candidate to get into the law schools I want to due to a lower (but upward trending) GPA, and need a 170+ score. I'm willing to spend however long it takes to reach that point.
So do you think I should cancel my score as it was a whole 8-9 points under my PT average, or should I keep it?
I would appreciate any feedback!
I work 9-5 so evening and weekends would be the only time I could have study sessions. I plan on taking the LSAT in April with a goal of 170+. Message me if you'd like to connect!
So here is how I feel about it without revealing too much info. I took the Nov 9 LSAT.
The RC was very very hard. I seriously panicked because I was running out of time. Was kinda happy tbh, to hear so many struggled with the same one I did... it included the section about invasive plants.
I am however a bit scared to see my score. For some strange reason I actually thought the 3 LR sections were super easy... Like to the point that I had 5 min remaining in some to review the ones I struggled with. This has made me feel like maybe I screwed up.
I did just start studying again for the January exam and have been drilling with LR and I am noticing that out of 20 questions I am only missing like 2 or 3... So maybe I am just actually doing well?
Anyone else feel the same about the logical reasoning? Feel free to vent and just share. Nice to know one isn't alone in this.
Does anyone know how to indent bullets and or numbered lists via keyboard shortcut on 7sage? When I try to indent/nest my points using the Tab key, the input focus just tabs over to the "Save" button field. Does anyone know how to get around this? If there are any resources listing keyboard shortcuts specifically for using keyboard shortcuts in the Lesson Notes sections of Unit Lessons and Explanations, please drop a link in the comments. Thanks y'all!
Hey so I'm planning on taking my first preptest since my diagnostic, and I was wondering if I would be able to import the diagnostic results I took on LawHub into 7sage for the analytics?
I tried looking at reddit and google and couldn't find anything
I am hoping someone else has or is experiencing this and could give some tips.
I have taken the LSAT twice and there has only been a ten point difference. Both times I have had a an anxiety attack.
I am preparing to retake it again in April, but I can’t sit down and study without being distracted or feeling anxious.
I am working on getting an accommodation before the exam, but in the meantime are there any tips so that I sit and study without feeling so anxious !??
I have never had this problem and kind of feeling defeated.
