I was doing well on my prep tests and saw a lot of improvement in my score until last week when I started getting questions wrong that I usually don't even think twice about. I feel like I am back at my starting point. Has this happened to anyone? And what is your advice for starting to improve again?

Hello everyone! I’m new to 7Sage, and I’d love to know which instructors you would recommend or enjoy.
Hi! I have been constantly scoring 149-152 for a couple of weeks. My goal is anywhere from 160 and up. I study pretty consistently and take a day off every now and then. I finished all of the study schedule on here and also did the Loophole LR book. I am missing 9-12 questions on each section almost everytime and don't know how I can change my studying to see improvements. Right now I have just been doing drills on my most missed categories but that is not helping me that much. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
During my undergrad I spent time working and earning college credit in various labs (neuroscience, psychology, and criminology). These labs offered me a lot of experience. I am very proud of the work that I completed and grateful for the opportunities. I want to highlight this experience somewhere in my application because I believe it was a big part of my undergrad career and it contributed to my personal development. The work has not yet been formally published. I think it would fit in my resume, but I am unsure where it would most make sense. Experience seems tricky because it was not a paid position but it also does not seem to fit well into Education. Any advice is appreciated!
Hey everyone,
Selfishly interested in seeing if anyone who scored below the median on their first test has any inspiring stories to share 😅
My October score was 149 — way below what I was hoping for —and feeling especially discouraged since the November LSAT felt equally, if not more, challenging. Taking it again in January.
Anyone else in a similar spot?
Hello!
I have recently started studying for LSAT. I do have a concern which I thought I might be able to get some help here. I drill different question types now that I am moving forward with learning how to approach each of them specifically, but I am worry that those grouped practice questions are drawn from the actual tests that I will be taking every week to kind of measure and track my progress. If I see familiar questions on those full length tests then my score won't be a great reflection of my progress. Can someone help with that issue? What everyone do to keep the majority of them locked for the full length practice? That would be great if I get some help with your experiences... Thanks!
Forgive me for complaining I just need to vent :')
I know everyone says the progress isn't linear, but it is SO hard to find the motivation to study after your score goes down
Three weeks ago I got a 169 on a prep test. I was ecstatic. After 3 months of studying, I felt like I was finally about to break into the 170's.
Eager to prepare for another prep test, I spent the last three weeks adding to my wrong answer journal, going through the syllabus, and drilling question types I got wrong. I felt so confident.
I just finished another prep test about an hour ago, and I scored a 164. It is not a bad score at all, and in fact if you told me 3 months ago that I would score a 164 I wouldn't believe you. But now, I feel like that 169 was just a fluke. I feel lost on how I can study better, and I am scared my score is plateauing, and I will burn out.
I just don't know how I should study more effectively. Should I just focus on going through the course? Should I just drill over and over again? I just don't know.
I know just about everyone here has gone through something similar, so I would appreciate ANY advice you have for me on how to regain this motivation and study better.
Thank you for letting me vent, good luck to everyone studying!
I am currently a sophomore and plan to take a gap semester to better prepare for LSAT and internships. Will this gap year influence my law school admissions. Should I justify and explain reasons of this gap semester when I apply? I am confused and genuinely appreciate some answers!
Hello,
I get 6-7 questions wrong on each section. In the LR section, it is pretty much one of each type. I know my weakness mostly is the NA questions, but I still get 1-2 of them wrong, how do I get better? I have been consistently drilling but no results.
Hello,
Does anyone want to exchange personal statement? I want get some feedback on mine.
Looking for a study partner. Feel free to reach out
I am scoring 145-150 right now. I would love to study 1:1 and keep each other accountable.
I have discord and I can also meet on other platforms like zoom.

Wondering if drills analytics is a feature the 7sage team is thinking about. I think it would be useful to have analytics on drills and not just PrepTests. What do other people think?
Looking for anyone that would be interested in having a virtual study group session on weekends. Having trouble focusing on studying on weekends and would really benefit from having a scheduled time to study with people virtually. Also would enjoy talking through difficult questions, study strategies, etc. Preference for those in PST but open to CT/ET as well. Currently scoring around 166.
Obviously all of the current prep tests include logic games, but should we skip them when practicing? What is the new timing of the LSAT now that Logic Games are no longer included? How does taking Logic Games out affect calculating scores?
Goal is 170+ for the August 2025 test, only took 1 diagnostic and got a 151. Already studied for about a month and haven't taken another practice test since. Want to attend NYU and currently have a perfect 4.0 GPA. Looking for someone to speak to about the LSAT and our progression, as well help each other along the way. I'm a male 20 yo looking for another male to be this person.
I have an old GRE score from June 2021 that was required to enter into a grad program (just had to take it, score didnt matter). that being said the score is kinda abysmal. do I have to report it? esp since my lsat scores are recent (sept & nov of this year)
If so, have you found that it helps and is worth the money? Any possible recs?
I just received my October test results and my score was nowhere close to where I need it to be and was even worse than PT results. I also had technical issues during my last section of the exam which definitely affected my score. I am currently registered for the November LSAT but will likely push it back to January because I know this amount of time with a different study approach would allow me to improve my score.
Any help here would be much appreciated, as I have not looked into tutors much at all before today. It's been a frustrating day to say the least but I know I can't change anything and just have to move forward.
Hi! I’m looking for a 1:1 study buddy who's scoring in the low 140s to work on strategies and do some questions together. I’m already working with a 7Sage tutor, but it’d be great to team up with someone at a similar level for some extra practice. If you’re interested, dm me! Thank you!
Last week, with no prior knowledge of the test, I achieved a diagnostic score of 146.
This morning, I received a 156 on my practice test! I have worked my way diligently through the foundations and I am about 45% through the LR written and video lessons on the syllabus. I just wanted to share my win and give some encouragement to users on here who are feeling like they cannot learn the test. As of a week ago I had not done any studying at all, and now I intend to take the LSAT in January and apply in the 2025 cycle.
Do not let yourself get discouraged - just do the work and don't give up. 7sage WORKS and I can't wait to check back in once I've made more progress and completed all the lessons!
I have heard mixed responses and was wondering if anyone knew if law schools can see you have extra time. If they can, does this affect how they evaluate your LSAT score?
Hello,
As the title suggests, I'm giving away my LSAT books. I have a copy of LR and RC from PowerScore for the year 2022.
They have been lightly highlighted in the first chapter of each - that is all.
I'm willing to pay for shipping. All I ask is that you're willing to take both books.
Please send me a message if you're interested.
Greetings 7Sagers!

hi! I am a teach for america teacher who taught in the nyc doe for 3 years, & resigned in june (at the end of the school year). when the summer break started (july), I was accepted to an education policy & advocacy fellowship in nyc that was 2 months long, which ended sept 8th ish
I am applying right now, & currently unemployed - main reason being: I got married early october & was away the majority of the month. I took sept & nov lsats & studying during my downtime all summer & when I wasnt working in sept/when I got back end of oct before nov lsat. other reason being the market in nyc is crazy & I do not think ill be able to get a job that is law school-esk (legal secretary, paralegal, etc) to just work for 6 months before going to school. I will probably continue my job as a volleyball coach & supplement with another retail job to pay the bills until school.
now my question: since I am applying by the end of the month, are schools going to be wondering about my current employment status? do I need to submit an addendum for this? I feel like its a moo point but also idk?
