Hey guys so some schools ask directly if you have been terminated or dismissed from a place of employment as one of the C & F questions.

I've attached an addendum explaining my case for that question.

For some schools, though, they don't directly ask employment termination questions. Do I just leave it out?

Or put it under C & F question pertaining to "Academic dismissal, probation, termination from college, university, post secondary institution"? Even though mine was an actual job and not a school or college.

Thanks all.

What are your guys thoughts on prep-tests do you think its more worthwhile to do the whole prep-test or to do the Flex? And on a different note could you burn yourself out by doing too many tests in a short period of time? Would love to hear some others thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I know that Bellingham isn't a huge town, but I was wondering if there was anyone in the Bellingham or even Seattle area who wanted to study together? I also wouldn't mind doing a little Skyping, I just think I would really benefit from a study buddy! I am planning on taking the September test (and applying in the fall).

If you're at all interested, please let me know :)

William Patterson University Test Center, Wayne New Jersey

The biggest surprise was the small size of the desktop. Otherwise a great facility.

Proctors: Two were very cordial and professional, stuck with the LSAC script which was fine. Monitored students but not distracting.

Facilities: College building, vending machines in the lobby

What kind of room: classroom

How many in the room: 25 students in a room with 35 desks

Desks: individual desks, tiny desk top, not enough room for booklet without hanging off the edge, challenge for RC and LG to see. LR just folded booklet so one page visible.

Left-handed accommodation: a few lefty desks

Noise levels: quiet

Parking: ample campus parking close by

Time elapsed from arrival to test: no wasted time, very prompt

Irregularities or mishaps: none

Other comments: none

Would you take the test here again? Yes

😖 Frustrated

Low to High 170s

Before the August test, I was scoring in the high 160s most of the time, with high scores of 172, 174, and 178. Miraculously, I got a 172 on the August test. This is including going to the restroom during a scored section, so I think I could have done better. I need a higher test score in October or November, but I am so tired. Any advice for making that jump? I want a 177.

Hello,

I am new to 7sage and plan on writing the november 2020 LSAT. I am looking for some guidance or precedence on how to effectively use the study schedule provided by 7sage. Currently, If I begin tomorrow, the recommended hours per week are 46 and that seems to be quite a bit. If that is not doable, are there any suggestions on how to make my own schedule?

😖 Frustrated

Stuck at 171

Hi everyone! I took the LSAT in February and got a 171. My goal was a 174, which is above the medians at the schools I want to apply to, but I was still happy. I was going to take it again in April but my scores went down so I ghosted the test. I haven't studied since. In my practice tests, my average was 172, but I realized that each test I got 7-8 questions wrong, and sometimes I was lucky and that was a 175 or I was unlucky and it was below 170. Does that mean I never really improved? How do I get to a place of consistently scoring less than 7-8 questions wrong per test? Or have I reached my limit? How did people break out of a score they were stuck at? Especially when there is no pattern in the questions I am getting wrong. Thanks! Hope everyone is doing well!

This question took me a lot of time but i still dont get why A is the answer because in A arent we affirming the consequent which is a conditional logic error ( if x then y - all poor then honest ; if y then x - all honest if poor )???

Admin note: edited title; please use the format of "PT#.S#.Q# - [first set of words]"

    Hi all,

So I have withdrawn from April test and plan to take in June -- but my April LSAT writing is still live.

Anyone know if I will need to cancel this separately, or if I can just take it whenever I want between now and June? I'll reach out to LSAC on monday but wondering if anyone has encountered similar thing for Flex. Thnx

I started out well on the MSS section, but did worse as the problems got harder (4s and 5s). Should I move on to the next lesson or tighten up my understanding of MSS?

I am completely underwater with this section, I don't get it at all. I have review the lessons and still don't understand and now looking online. Any tips? Please help

    Hey everyone,

I started studying around 2 months ago after my first failed attempt in 2018 (diagnostic in the low 140s) and I'm currently scoring in the mid 150s (154-157) and my BR has ranged from 165-170. My accuracy is decent in LR and LG (often missing around 4-5 questions due to just lack of time)- however my performance in RC is highly responsible for my low score.

I've tried doing sections untimed to improve my comprehension (which lands me at around -4 or -5) however that takes me around 12+ minutes just to read and answer questions per passage. I've only recently joined 7Sage (previously used Manhattan prep's method for RC) and in an effort to avoid confusing myself with too many strategies I've avoided the whole memory method and low-res summaries.

Anyone know where I can go from here? Timing is a huge issue!! Looking to take the oct-nov lsat (preferably in the 162ish range) but I'm open to pushing it off until January as well.

Thanks so much in advance ☺️

    Hi All!

I am preparing my application materials for the upcoming cycle including various essays (personal statement, etc.). I noticed that there is a compiled list on 7Sage of the required/optional application materials for schools. However, for some schools there are optional essay topics listed that aren't listed on the schools' websites (ex: Cornell). I was wondering if that means that there are questions that we only have access to after the application cycle begins.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi there! I am currently scheduled to take the August LSAT flex (it is now spread out over a week) and signed up for one on September 2nd. I know that typically you have until the day before the LSAT to drop out, but since this one was supposed to be on August 29th, I was wondering if anyone knew if I had to drop by the 28th or if I could drop on September 1st. Thank you!
