I am registered for the August LSAT and I was wondering, for those who took the June test, how people's at-home testing experience was. I personally am leaning towards taking it at the crib, but I want to hear what other people are doing.

Why do I need to buy LawHub Advantage on top of the Core Curriculum? I think it's pretty ridiculous that the subscription plan does not mention you need to spend another $115 a year on top of the monthly 7Sage subscription just to get access to practice questions and questions that are a part of the core curriculum. This is false advertizing and I want my money back.

Prior to using 7sage I used khan academy. I recieved a 154 on my first ever test in Feb 2024 (with logic games). After studying for a month I took the exam again in March and recieved a 160. After that I decided to wait until May and then begin going through the 7sage curriculum. Today (June 30th) I took my first test since March after doing all of the cc and most of LR and I received a 161. I am incredibly discouraged and don't know what I am doing wrong. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hello fellow Sagers!

My heart and soul are bursting with joy and pride to write this post and I want to publicly thank 7Sage so much for what it has given me and how much it has helped me achieve. As the title goes I achieved an excellent score on the June administration of the test. Originally I was going to wait to post something like this until I had my marching orders as to what school I would (hopefully) be attending (and I think I will end up writing another proper endorsement on a more public forum when that happens), but I am just so happy and I think the efforts of the 7Sage team deserve to be shouted out right now, and that the rest of the community can always use more examples showing that this kind of thing is possible. This mountain can be summitted, this dragon can be slain, by anyone!

@Albert Gauthier (who I can't properly tag here) was my tutor for a brief 6 weeks and the strategies and study plans he formulated for me helped guide my journey long after our time was up. Furthermore, he made me feel like he genuinely believed in my ability and potential which was essential to my final score.

In my opinion, 7Sage is the real deal, and my improvement is the proof. For all of you soldiers out there in the trenches fighting the darkest days of your own personal battle against the LSAT, please take heart that you are in great hands and all the tools you need for success are right here for the taking.

If anyone has any questions for me please feel free to DM me or ask them here, I would be happy to lend any insight.

Hello everyone! I wrote the test in June for the second time and scored 153. When I first started studying for the test, I set my goal to 165. However, after nearly 6+ months of studying I cannot get anything past 155 on timed tests. Of course, I am able to score much higher than 155 on an untimed test, but it's very difficult to almost impossible for me to score higher than this on a timed test. I'm not looking to go to a t14. I'm based in Michigan and want to stay close to home so the two schools I'm looking at are Detroit Mercy and Wayne State. I have a 3.9 GPA and my resume is pretty decent imo. I have a couple of internships and have been working as a legal assistant for the past year. I don't know if I should retake it or if my stats are good and I should apply. Also, LG was the easiest section for me and now that it's gone, the test will definitely be much more difficult for me. Should I apply or should I study for another 6 months or however long it will take for me to reach my target score?

Thank you in advance!

I haven't been scoring the best on my real LSATs but my PTs have been in the upper 150s (old format). My target score is a 155 on the LSAT, and I want to apply this fall for the 2025 cycle.

I haven't been able to break into the 150s on the real LSAT yet but that's another discussion. My hope being to apply this fall and achieve a score of 155+, is taking the test in October as opposed to September more of a gamble?

I feel that more time to study could be beneficial but does that outweigh the impacts of applying slightly later in the cycle as opposed to applying at the start? Taking October also leaves less time to test again if my score isn't ideal.

Hi,

When studying the syllabus today, I suddenly received a "404 error page not found" when trying to access materials. I was studying without any issue just minutes prior. I tried an incognito tab and logging out to no avail. Is the site down for maintenance? Is anyone else having this issue?

I recently finished all the lessons for the course. I took my first prep test today and got a 155 after blind review (153 before BR). How does score range in comparison? Is it roughly about average for first time takers? Trying to get a gauge on how I should feel about this.

Note: all three sessions have now occurred! You can view the recordings: one, two, and three. Note that it will take a day or two for the recording of the third session to appear on the page.

Hey 7Sagers,

Whether you've just received a score from the June test or are deciding on the goal score that makes the most sense for your Law School aspirations, understanding exactly how to fit the LSAT into the broader applications context can be tricky- especially if you're deciding whether or not to keep a score!

Today at noon ET, 7Sage admissions consultant Jake Baska will be leading a free session to help you navigate this topic.

Hi all,

Today, at 2pm ET we noticed that Lessons and You Trys on the Syllabus were broken. As of 2:25pm, the problem has been fixed.

We are still investigating what led to this error.

In the meantime, please let us know if you're continuing to experience usage issues.

My apologies about the outage!

J.Y.

Hi guys! For the past 5 mins it says 404 error on every page i try to open on the learn --> syllabus page. Is the site undergoing maintenance? Would anyone happen to know when this will be resolved? For context i have tried opening 7sage in different browsers and through the application itself. Thank you!

Hello everyone,

For those that have had reasonably good results on their PT’s, I’d like to know how you go about annotating each question stem/prompt. No matter the stem in LR, do you always identify the premises, minor-conclusions and major conclusions with its supporting evidence?

I have problems identifying if some prompts contain only premises or context sentences, like type-2 MC question stems.

Maybe I don’t have the muscle memory to quickly figure out if something from 4 sentences ago supports a sentence I am currently reading. Any insight into this topic will definitely help me!

My account seems to be glitched or whatever. I have lawhub advantage, but only recently (yesterday) the red popup indicating that Ive only linked lawhub account began. What makes it more peculiar is that I have been doing drills and whatnot for a week or two. Please Help? Ive even clicked the hyperlink and re-signed in.

Law Passages

Does anyone have any tips or pointers that they have found useful for Law passages in RC? I find that when I read slow enough I can get all questions correct, it is when I start increasing speed I am misunderstanding. I know I can't be the only one with this issue LOL so any advice would be super helpful!!

Hello! I have been using the drills, you trys, and other practice materials smoothly for the past few months of my studies. However, this morning all my access to these materials was lost? When I try to click on past questions I've completed, I can't even look at them. Did the subscription offerings change? Those were great study tools. sorry if this is a dumb question

167>168>173 (January, April, June)

Holy shit I can't believe I scored this! (Well I mean I can it's been two years man.)

Working full time and studying and I finally got it - and you can do it too. Just give yourself enough time!

I could not have done this without 7sage's video tutorials and their analytics tool - what a time saver. Also your podcasts were my rituals during my commutes. @JYping thank you for creating an affordable and effective resource.

Hello everyone,

Can any of you give me your input if you have made the switch from PowerScore to 7sage?

I have been using Powerscore on a consistent basis since July 2022. I have taken their full course 3 times, 2 while working FT and this last time I quit my job to study FT for the LSAT, I also hired a tutor with powerscore (didn't seem to make a difference). I love their fundamentals and the way they explain things. However, I took the LSAT 2 times and both scores were the same. There is another issue that I was having as PowerScore does not have PT explanations as 7sage does, they only have a forum where one has to ask questions. I have spent so much money and invested so much time with Powerscore and thinking this is not really working for me and need to look at other platforms. Just looking for insight if anyone here has made that switch and their results? Thanks in advance! :)
