I recently took a cold diagnostic (I took the LSAT cold in Summar of '23... big mistake) without the LG section using the new 4-section format for this August. Scored a 171 timed, 172 BR. Is it worth it to go through the syllabus, or should I just spend the whole summer grinding out PT's and BRing? I'm thinking my time might be better spent that way, since the syllabus will likely cover a lot of stuff I've already got a grasp on.

Hey, y'all! Long story short, I've taken the LSAT twice, getting a 140 and a 139 respectively. I last took it in February and decided that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results and between full time school and three jobs, I just couldn't study. That being said, I graduate Saturday with my bachelors, start a full time 8-5 on Monday and am ready to get back into the swing.
What's the easiest way to get back into studying? Ideally, I'd like to shoot for the August/September LSAT. Thoughts?
I can't believe I'm in this position! Does anyone have any insight on how likely it is to be accepted from the WL after an interview? Do they interview a lot of people on WL to give themselves options? Or do they interview people they are likely to accept. Any advice is appreciated!
Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to how to sign up for the August LSAT test. I am also wondering how/when to apply for extra time on the August LSAT test.
Best,
Drew
This passage talks about the baroque period and im unsure why the answer is guiding instead of compelling. There was no explanation available. It asks you to identify the meaning of the word directive. I feel like the passage implies that it is more compelling and forceful than the word guiding.
Hi, this is Ben. I am studying LSAT as a Full-timer.
My cousin who went to T6 with over 170 advised me to form a study group, and I totally agree with her detailed tactics to be a successful study group. So, as advised, I am going to make it very tight so that all my members can get some points over 170.(at least 170)
(Ground Rules)
Your current stats are not a concern. below 160s are welcome but you should be dedicated no matter what.
If you are interested, then reply to this post for your invitation.
Once I gather 3 buddies, I will delete this post, invite you all and we are going to set up schedules and progress per session. My study will continue until all members get at least 170.
Ben.
I'm just wondering about which prep tests are used to create drills for logical reasoning. Are they taken from a couple of tests or are they scattered from all the prep tests available?
Anything helps.
Hi looking for a study buddy/study group/looking for people who are currently studying for the LSAT in the OC area. Let's tackle this beast together.
hi guys. While I was using the analytics feature and the question bank to filter out mistaken questions, I found out it only includes mistaken questions in the PTs I've taken, but not all the questions I've done when drilling. Is there any way I can include the drilling questions as well?
I took the LSAT last year in Oct and scored a 152. I have been studying on/off since (working full time and full undergrad class schedule), trying to master LGs to test in June this year. Hitting the 160s would be a DREAM. I consistently score -5 (usually less) on LR and RC is a hit or miss varying between -9 through -5. I've seen improvements recently on LR and RC during practice tests.
I hoped I could master LG to at least have -5, but I have not done so yet. I usually average -9 (sometimes more) on LG. During blind review, I can get most of the questions right with LGs. Still, I'm beyond frustrated at this point.
Should I test in June with LG or would it be more beneficial to test in perhaps September and apply in October after working more on LR and RC? Should I test in June anyway and re-rest in September?
I appreciate any advice I could get! Thank you!

Hello,
I am looking for advice. My current plan is to apply early for the upcoming law school cycle and work for a year in-between. I just graduated with my undergrad in engineering at a gpa of 3.6 but I am worried about improving my lsat score, my first lsat was in November and I got a 166. I retook it in April and got a 167. I'm wondering if taking the lsat for a 3rd time is a good decision , my current motivation is a at an all time low after getting such a small increase.
I was a community college to state school grad that pieced together a bachelors degree from random credits and studied for the LSAT while working and supporting a family. I started with a 154 and took the LSAT seven times. My application was a C&F nightmare and reading the first personal statement I applied with makes me cringe so hard I get a headache.
This community, including @"J.Y. Ping", @"David Busis", @"Cant Get Right", @Mike_Ross and way too many other people to mention, helped me unfuck my approach to this test and admissions. @"Nora Miller" basically got me into law school and set me on a path to become the somewhat serviceable writer I am today. Three years later, I've won multiple national bar association essay competitions, published with HLS, and worked as a law review editor. I've taught written advocacy for our LLM program and at our local prisons, and worked death penalty cases that I'll (hopefully) be taking with me as part of my pro bono practice. I've CALI'ed four classes and "passed" the UBE with an approximate 98th percentile score. Doing a second non-UBE bar exam before heading off to a big law litigation job.
Hopefully that doesn't sound too pretentious. The points I'm trying to make are (1) that if I can do it, anyone can do it... including you, and (2) I wouldn't have achieved any of that without 7sage and the great people here—the people I learned from, the people who allowed me to tutor them (a great way to improve your own understanding of the test), and the people who were willing to candidly tell me all the ways my application sucked or how dumb my essay about surfing in Boston was.
Do hit me with any questions, but like most people who pass through 7sage, my time here is probably done after this. Besides, I think I have to retire the username now that I haz JD. Make use of this great community, help each other out, and don't give up.
It's been real. Thanks 7sage.
Hello. I am applying to schools in the fall and have a 3.84 LSAC GPA which dropped in my last semester of college from a 3.9 because I got a C+. I know that it's just one lone grade, but I basically got disowned by my parents because of cultural problems (during the week before finals) and I failed my finals. Considering that if I didn't get the C+, I would be competitive for the T-14, should I write an adendum?
I can't figure out why the answer is C! No matter how much I look at it, I gravitate towards D.
Hi everyone! I am taking the June 2024 LSAT and am registered to take it in person at a testing center. The registration for choosing the day you take the test opens tomorrow for the Wednesday and Thursday test days and the day after for Friday and Saturday test days. Is there an advantage to choosing a certain day of the week? I had been planning on taking it on Saturday, June 8th because that works best with my schedule but wasn't sure if there is an advantage to taking it on one of the earlier days instead. Thanks in advance for any advice and insight on this!
Just reviewed two full sections that I scored in the August format on 7Sage and the old discussions seem to be missing from all the videos. Would be nice if the team could find a way to port over all of the old comments #help. Thanks!
Hello all,
I want to type out notes for questions while taking the logical reasoning section. However, I do not see an option to type out notes on 7Sage when taking a test test. My questions:
Thank you all!
Sincerely,
Stressed New LSAT Studier
Hello,
I recently took the April LSAT and scored signfiicantly lower than I did on practice tests. I was averaging 168-173 on a number of PTs, but scored a 158 on the real thing!! I didn't buy Score Preview so am stuck with that score.
I've started studying again and have taken two tests - I got a 175 on one and a 171 on the other. My GPA was a 3.80 in college.
In short I'm wondering if my 158 will ruin any chance that I get accepted into a T14. I know they report the top score, but this is a pretty glaring result, does anyone have any insights here?

Anyone studying for the LSAT in ATL/Buckhead? Looking for study buddies!
After finishing the core curriculum, I've found it really hard to push on and keep practicing. I approached learning LSAT concepts with a lot of optimism, but the same can't be said for mastering them. How have you guys maintained your motivation after completing the core curriculum? Or is this just a me thing?

Hi everyone! I am planning to take the September LSAT (will be my second time taking it) and would love to set up a zoom study group! I think it would be helpful and also keep us motivated and accountable if we set up a zoom meeting every so often and helped each other study and maybe target each of our weak points. If anyone is interested and wants to set up a zoom study group, email me at halvarez9097@gmail.com. I can start a group text for anyone interested and we can find a time that works for everyone to meet on zoom :)
