Hi Guys,

I was seeing if anyone would like to partner up and do a study session. I am aiming to be in the 99th percentile on the test and looking for those that are also studying to aim the same score. Even though this doesn't matter, a little bit about me, I speak Spanish and Portuguese, am a Christian as well. So even if we don't share those interests no problem, it is just cool to meet people that also share the same interests too. I also have an interest in studying Immigration Law. Thanks so much everyone!

Sincerely,

Matthew

Hi Guys,

I achieved a diagnostic score in March of a 130 and in April as well, but my score was still pretty low. I am planning to take the test in October and started studying about May 13th. I really would like to hit the 99th percentile, if possible, but not sure if anyone else has achieved more than 40+ increase. I am studying about 20 hours week and seriously studying, but just concerned. I know anything is possible, but just a little worried that I scored a little lower. Not sure if this is normal. I want to get full-ride scholarships.

Thanks so much! Stay Blessed!

Hi, I wanted to reach out to other 7sagers to see if anyone would be interested in studying RC with me.

I have been studying for the test about 10months, and I would like to have more routinely discussion based study sessions for specifically RC.

Here are some suggestions on how I would like to have the sessions.

  • at least twice a week / EST 9pm~(1.5hrs~2hrs)
  • one or two passages a session, fully discussion based (google meet)
  • we take the passages timed, blind review them once, and come to the study without checking the right answers
  • pre-analyzing structure/low-resolution summery/roles wouldn't be necessary, but we will definitely discuss
  • I would like to do more of earlier PTs, partly because they are hard and I want to save later ones:)
  • Here are some info about me

  • taking the June test, applying this fall(23-24 cycle)
  • currently averaging 159-163
  • staying in Korea right now
  • Please let me know if you are interested!

    Good luck with your studying!

    RRE questions

Hi what is a good approach for these questions? I been studying for 6 hours and Im still not grasping it? :(

Hi guys, I was wondering if it’s normal for LR scores to fluctuate between -13 to -6. Both are my worst and best score on my recent LR. (I have been studying for some time; I’ve finished CC and been practicing tons of drills.) Let me know if any of you relate and if you have any solution for this!

Premise 1: Clark brand name parts are made for cars manufactured in this country.

Premise 2: they satisfy all the government's automotive tests.

Premise 3: for foreign made parts, you never know which one might be cheap look-alike and reliable.

Conclusion: you should prefer Clark brand name parts to foreign made parts.

The question is asking for the necessary assumption of the stimulus. I picked the right answer. But, upon second look, I think even the right answer, strictly speaking, seems to be wrong....

Answer C, the supposedly right answer, states that "parts that satisfy our government standards are not as poorly constructed as the cheap foreign-made parts".

It doesn't seem to me the negation of this answer choice necessarily undermines the original argument. For I read the premise 3 of the stimulus as only implying that, in contrast to foreign made parts, you COULD KNOW which one might be cheap look-alike and reliable in the case of Clark brand name parts, which means Clark brand name parts could contain cheap and unreliable parts just as foreign made ones do. The only difference is you can tell the difference in the case of former, but not the latter. For answer C to be the necessary assumption of the original argument, however, we need to read that premise 3 as implying that Clark brand name parts are INDEED NOT cheap look-alike and reliable, which seems to me a bit too strong an inference to be made.

Furthermore, nothing in the stimulus implies that cheap and unreliable foreign-made parts cannot satisfy the government automotive standards.

Can someone help point out if I miss anything? Am I reading too much into the stimulus?

I recently broke into my goal score of 172-3 last week on 3 PTs (88,92,93) and had been getting 166-168 before that but this week I took two PTs (85/87) and both of them I dropped down to 165-66...I'm taking the June exam and I'm so nervous...I usually don't really have an issue with timing (have 2-5 minutes after sections to go back and review) but on PT85 and 87 I had such a big problem with timing to the point that I had just 30 seconds left to answer the last LR and RC questions.

On PT85 I had gotten -2 on RC but -6/-7 on each LR sections while I got -7 on RC and -2/-6 on LR for PT87. LR and RC tend to be my weaker spots but usually at MOST I would get -5 wrong. Even LG games where I tend to get 0 wrong, I got up to 2 wrong.

I've been studying 2-3hrs everyday (I work full time) since February but had been studying 6 days a week since October. I usually take a PT every Sunday but have ramped it up to every Sat + Sun since last month. My weekday study schedule is switching between 2 timed LR sections + 2 RC passages + 1 LG game and 2 timed RC sections + 15 LR Q + 1 LG game.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong....I wasn't able to study as hard as usual this week because of work commitments but I still feel like a 7pt drop is pretty substantial.

Please if anyone has any insights to why such fluctuations happen, how to overcome, best practices, anything -- would appreciate it

I am consistently hitting the high 150s, but my BR score is in the 170's consistently. Are there any methods to close the gap between these two scores? I feel like I'm choking very hard when the actual exam happens, because during BR the right answer speaks to me way more than during test time. Perhaps its because I've seen the stimulus before, but I'm not quite sure what to do!

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Please note that each administration’s registration deadline is also the last day to request disability-related testing accommodations, assistive technology, a free Test Date Change, and/or a full refund.

Each administration’s discounted test date change deadline is also the last day to request a partial $50 refund.

After the discounted test date change deadline, you may continue to request test date changes for the full registration fee of $222. Your request must be made by 11:59 p.m. (ET) the day before testing begins.

If you find you are unable to take the LSAT after the test date change and refund deadlines have passed, please withdraw your registration through your LSAC online account by 11:59 p.m. (ET), the day before you are scheduled to test. Withdrawing your registration will prevent an absentee notation from appearing on your LSAC file.

Given the expressed preference of the substantial majority of test takers, the LSAC will continue to provide the LSAT in an online, live remote-proctored format.

Hi guys! I saw that LSAC just released registration for the rest of the 2023 and 2024 LSAT dates. They've given a remote option and a testing center option.Has anyone on here taken an LSAT at a testing center, and if so how did that go? I can't decide if remote or the center would be best. Thanks!
