I started studying on Feb 2 in order to take the June 6 LSAT. My diagnostic was a 145 and my goal is a 165+. Should I push my test to August, or will I face a risk of burn out. I am studying ~3 hours a day and following the 7Sage study plan. Any advice would be helpful

I've been studying for a while, but I don't feel like I'm improving. I can't seem to break into the 170s, and am just stuck in the high 160's. Any advice for that extra push?
Hey! When should I drill v do sections? I am around -8 for LR and -12 for RC. Trying to get clarification.
Hi! I plan to take the June 2026 LSAT and would love to have weekly (or 2x /week) study groups in-person, mainly for accountability! I am open to meeting in cafes and libraries - please feel free to comment below and we can figure out time blocks during the week!
Hey guys. I’m in the South Houston area looking for study partners with the LSAT. I’ve been studying, but I feel like if I had partners, I’d be more consistent and motivated. I also learn better while bouncing ideas off of others. If you’re in this area and need a partner, please reach out.
Looking for a person to do web or in person study sessions and rival me on my law journey looking to be on the federal circuit as a judge
I took the LSAT back in 2015 — basically the Stone Age compared to today’s remote, digital format.
At the time, I pivoted and built a career in federal procurement instead of law. It’s been a solid path, but lately I’ve felt pulled back toward pursuing a legal career.
For those who’ve applied recently (or are in law school now): Is it still worth it? Is the market as saturated as people say?
And maybe this is niche — but has anyone transitioned into law after building a stable government career first?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s made a similar leap.
Hi!
This is the first post that I am writing.
I took my first PT yesterday and scored a 140. I have been studying for the LSAT for the past 4 months and I was very much disappointed to see such score. While blind reviewing, I realized that most of the LR questions that I got wrong were towards the end of the test since I guessed all of them due to lack of time.
For RC, it was the same issue; I poured so much time into the first two passages that I did not have time to even read through the other two passages. Also, by section 4, my brain started to shut down that the words would not come into my brain and I could not process what the reading was even about.
So I was wondering if you all would have some tips on the following:
How to manage time during LR section as well as increase accuracy?
How can I stay concentrated in RC and be engaged with the text? Some people say that I should have a constant conversation with the reading in my brain but that is not easy for me.
Some tips for time management in both LR and RC section that has helped people to score high.
Thank you in advance!
Hello! I am looking for study partners who are in the South/ Central Jersey who wouldn't mind being a study partner/group. I am taking the June 2026
Hey all! i started studying for my lsat the last week of Jan, i have been consistently scoring the same on the practice tests, wondering when everyone saw a big change/jump in their testing scores?
The space where the saved drill templates are currently isn't intuitive. I would recommend placing them on the drills page where you actually customize the drill and create the template.
Hi everyone, can someone explain the argumentative section for the LSAT? February was my first time taking the test and from what I understand, I need to complete the writing portion before the 24th.
What does this look like? Does anyone have any tips to be successful? What is the role this plays in the LSAT?
Thank you to anyone who helps!
Hey everyone Im writing in the discussion regarding our practice blocks. I was trying to find somewhere on the platform where I can edit my practice blocks so I do not have a practice test every week on them. Is this possible on the 7Sage platform? I'm toward the beginning of my studies and would rather focus on drilling and timed sections rather than trying to squeeze in practice tests every week.
I am almost done with the Theory section, and I am wondering why did I chose this path, I know that I want to become an attorney, but these reading comprehension passages are literally draining the life out of me.
I wonder if taking this course was really of help or not, I will finish it and continue with the drills, but oh my Goodness, maybe having untimed drills are making me take longer and double think some of these answer choices more than if I had a time limit either way must complete it!
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to form a small LSAT study group where we can keep each other accountable, share strategies, and work through questions together. Ideally, members would be in the Eastern Time zone and available to meet regularly to discuss practice problems and concepts in real time. I'm a 22m based in DC.
I hope to take the May/June LSAT, if you have a similar timeline and goals please reach out!
I have been studying and have only been able to reach a score of 142. I would like to achieve a score of 165 by April, as this is my last opportunity for this cycle before I would have to wait a year. I have tried different tutors, but my score has not changed. I also attempted the live classes here, but I found them to be a bit too slow for my pace. While I know some people might suggest that I wait until next year, I consider myself a non-traditional student. I would like to know what steps I can take to make this goal a reality.
Hi everyone,
I have an important question. I have some health and mental health conditions that require me to take extra time when I’m taking tests. My doctors and my psychiatrist have both told me that I can actually request unlimited time as an accommodation.
Is that a real type of accommodation, or are we misunderstanding it? I would really appreciate any guidance.
Hi peeps. Looking for a casual study buddy who would like to go through different questions, LR and RC, and the admission process together. My pre study score was in 150s, could be (hopefully hehe) way better now. I am 24F, often in NYC, Houston, and Salt Lake. Would be great to find someone here to go through 7Sage and other resources together via Zoom, text, or in person!
Sorry for the delay, but you can now see difficulties for PT159.
Hello,
Right now the application tracker says "Accepted". This implies (incorrectly) that I have committed to attending that school. A better, less ambiguous phrase would be "Admitted". I realize there's a step later for "Accepted offer", but really clearing this ambiguity would make a big difference in understanding for most users who may not think about it.
So when I answer any LR question- I start thinking too deep to the point where I get the Questions wrong, I find a flaw or think "oh this answer requires me making this assumption". How to fix? Like I am doing worse now than I was doing w/ minimal studying.
I am curious about when redoing questions, do the analytics calibrate to the more recent data or does it only include the original take?
I have had my subscription paused for about a month and was previously on the Live membership. Im looking to downgrade to the Core membership for a bit but I want to make sure that after I unpause my subscription im not going to automatically be charged the Live membership fee and then again for the Core. Is it possible to change my subscription while paused to avoid this?
I was planning on taking the June LSAT remotely, since I study in the same spot each day at my home, and was hoping the familiarity might help me perform better as opposed to in-person. However, after the announcement that June will be the last chance to take the remote LSAT, I have come across multiple horror stories of remote testing experiences (proctors, timing, etc.). I want to make sure this is accurate.
I would really appreciate hearing about anyone's experiences/knowledge about taking the remote test, and or in-person. I don't plan on re-taking, so it's super important to me that I have a good experience.
Thank you and have a great day!
Almost every time I PT there is always a significant gap between my actual score to BR score. I am making gradual progress on LR sections, yet I can't seem to shrink these gaps. Today I scored -8 and -2BR, and my past sections have had similar 6+ point gaps.
I don't know if I am just under too much stress every time I do a section, or if this means I need to work on translation skills. Let me know your thoughts, also if anyone has any tips on what they did to shrink these gaps.
