Hi everyone!

Second time writer here (first exam was January 2021). I scheduled my November exam this morning, but for some reason the ProctorU countdown timer has added an additional hour from the actual time I picked. The correct time zone is showing on the scheduled date and time, it is just the timer that is off. From my previous experience with ProctorU in January, I am aware that once the timer runs out, you can start the check in process for your exam.

I tried to chat with a live agent about this to fix the timer but they told me to simply check back 2 days prior to the exam.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thank you!

Hey yall! I have a 3.8low GPA and 175+ LSAT trying to get into SLS (and other t14s). 3.8low is a relatively good GPA, but it is still under many T14 medians. I honestly don't really have an excuse for some of my lower grades besides the fact that I did a bit of experimenting when I didn't know what I wanted to major in and got a few lower than ideal grades in math/sciencey courses. Is it stupid to ask them to please notice that my grades trended very high near the end of my undergrad career as I found what I wanted to major in or would they notice from my transcript? I guess my question is whether they will look hard at the transcript if my GPA is pretty good already (but not good enough to be at their medians). Thanks everyone ! Have a great day and good luck w apps!

Was averaging 168 a month out before the October exam and got a 158, worse than any PT I had taken after September began. I quickly cancelled since I was lucky enough to buy score preview, but I am very humbled right now. Going to keep working hard for November and possibly January for my goal score of 170, but I'm fighting inner dialogue that I'm not capable of reaching my goal. For any of you who underperformed in this iteration: I genuinely empathize with you and am sorry that you're going through the motions of processing that right now. We just have to stay true to the grind, take care of ourselves, and live to see another LSAT :)

Hi all! I hope everyone is kicking ass and making headway in slaying the formidable beast that is this exam! I have an application question that I'm hoping someone could shed some light on. Right now, I have a 166, a solid score, but I feel I can pull a 169 or 170 on the January test with a couple of months more of prep. In addition, I'm a non-traditional splitter plagued by 3 F's from my freshman year of college seven years ago. Since returning to college, I have brought my GPA to a 3.27 and will have a 3.4 by late December when the fall semester ends. Should I wait to submit my applications until I have the 3.4 and possibly the 169/170 from the January test? Or, should I submit my apps with the hope of getting waitlisted instead of rejected, and then have the opportunity later of showing them the improved stats to hopefully take me off of it?

Any feedback would be great!

Thank you 7sage. I began studying for this test in March 2020 and can finally say I am done with it in October 2021.

I began with a diagnostic of 148. I took the test in June and got a 159, but knowing I had more potential stuck to studying for the Oct LSAT. I was so close to the median for a lot of great schools and knew I could increase my odds by a lot just by raising my score a little bit more. I ended with a 163 this October. I know it’s not a 175 like many people strive for, but for me the 15 point increase and 40 point percentile increase is more than enough to be proud of. I am confident in my ability to get into some amazing schools with this score. 7sage is what got me over the hump and I’m forever grateful.

For those who got their score back and are realizing that their LSAT journey isn’t over, you got this. There were weeks and months I thought I would never break 155. I truly believed I had reached my peak 7 months ago. Remember what you’re studying for- the reason you are going to law school in the first place. We put in the hard work now so that we can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives later on.

While a 163 may seem like nothing special, I fought so hard for it and I’m extremely proud of myself and this community.

Good job my friends!

Hey everyone, I just took PT91 on lawhub and was wondering if anybody would be willing to help me out with a few explanations for some of the questions, specifically:

22: I chose E but not for any particular reason other than I didn't want to waste more time than needed on the question.

23: I can sort of see why AC (A) is the correct answer and if I read it more carefully I would've probably chose it but I chose AC (B) instead. I was stuck between both answers but in my head I was thinking AC (B) was correct because of how the last sentences says "cannot be caused by a simple phenomenon"

24: Was stuck between AC (C + D) ended up choosing C because of the time constraint and failed to realize that the use of 'some animals' obviously implies humans. Just wanted to confirm that C mentioning the precise location of genes is completely irrelevant to weakening the argument.

Much thanks to anyone who decides to explain these to me!

I'd like to work through each question for a group of questions (all MP from first bulk of tests) but with the option to see the correct answer choice for each question after selecting a question. Right now I can only see the option to work through x amount of the questions, do blind review, and then see the AC's for each.

Can an admin #help me out with this one? Is it possible with the way 7sage is designed?

Thanks!

I took my first lsat last year august 2020 , though I wasn't ready since it gave me the option to preview my scores. Now I've taken my second exam in october 2021 and want to take one more in November for my goal score. I was advised that I take maximum of 3 lsats and was wondering if the first one also counts as a take?

I've been studying for this test for the past 2 years and have taken it 3 times already (154 -> 156 -> 164). The score I got yesterday is 164 and I want to take the Jan test to increase my chances for some of the schools. Does anyone have advice on how to improve your score if you have no more fresh PTs left?

I've went through PT's until 80 twice, and 80-90 once. I definitely remembered some answers when I was studying for the Oct test tho, so I'm not sure what I can do to improve. I can definitely perfect my LG and maybe my LR by drilling Qs, but RC will be tough to improve on since I remember every single freaking passage lol.

ps. my best section is LG, worst is RC

Is anyone else having an issue signing up through ProctorU right now? I got the email from LSAC to sign up but when I tried scheduling a test time it shows "no active exams". When I tried to schedule an exam under "schedule a new session" it only offers my undergraduate institution as an option, not LSAC.

Anyone else experiencing this? ProctorU is a mess and I'm worried this won't be solved anytime soon. Anyone had any luck?

It seems as though my time here has officially come to an end. I've spent a lot of time with this test and on this website, and in a sad, mildly sadistic way, I think I'll miss them both. That said, I'm looking forward to enjoying my newfound free time and not dreaming in logic games anymore.

I'll spare you all a lengthy post containing my half-baked LSAT wisdom and will just invite you to PM me if you have questions or would appreciate some of the aforementioned semi-reliable guidance (I can also answer some questions in this thread if y'all have any). Thank you all for your discussion posts, answer explanations, and shared commiseration. The LSAT journey was an arduous one and I know my misery loved your company.

Best of luck to those who will soldier forth in their battle against the test, and a heartfelt congratulations to those who are also bidding a final goodbye to the LSAT.

Anyone have any advice on how to handle the last two weeks before test day? I'm planning on taking one or two more PT's over the next few days and then to focus more on drilling/reviewing before the November LSAT. My last 5 rolling PT's are averaging at my goal score, so I'm feeling like I'm less in the 'learning' mindset and more in the 'execution' one.

I'm pretty consistently going -0 to -2 on games, so I haven't been practicing it much these past few months. Loosely my plan is to really focus back in on games heading into the test, just to make sure I'm up to speed and not rusty. Not sure if I should continue taking full LR and RC sections or switch to drilling. Or just keep on keeping on with PTs.

How are you all preparing?

Hi all, for those who have already taken the test, do you recommend taking the LSAT Writing Test before the regular test or after? I can see pros and cons to both options!

I'm rarely one to make a public discussion post like this, but I want to express my gratitude to 7Sage and encourage others to give it a shot.

In September 2019, I got a 156 after using PowerScore. I re-took in November 2020 after studying w/ Khan Academy, and saw a marginal score increase (162), but I was still nowhere near my goal score. I started w/ 7Sage in March of 2021 and told myself this would be the last time.

The 7Sage core curriculum helped me tremendously. Starting with such a great foundation (and treating my LSAT studying like an online class) really helped to raise my floor score. I found myself performing with greater consistency and was confident going into test day (a strange feeling!). Anyways, all this to say that I have been thoroughly impressed w/ 7Sage, and after having used other popular methods like PowerScore and Khan, I can say that this was the best prep regiment I tried hands-down. Excited to never have to think about this test ever again!

Okay, kind of a long post but I am feeling super discouraged after getting October LSAT results and I'm scheduled to take the November test. I feel like I have gotten the absolute worst luck of the draw on LSATs and can't tell if I'm just being dramatic or not.

I've taken 3 LSATs so far, two of them two years ago, then focused on work until a few months ago when I decided to apply again and took the October 2021 LSAT...here's how each one went:

September 2019: aka PT88 and flowers game, a notoriously hard LSAT, and I was okay with my score considering it was a hard test, but I knew it didn't show my potential so I decided to take the November 2019 test.

November 2019: Show up to the test and the proctors never arrive, so our entire test center gets rescheduled BUT we have to do a paper test. I had not practiced on paper at all since all the tests had moved to electronic, so I ended up scoring 4 points lower because you can't see time remaining and I just wasn't used to the timing of filling out the scantron.

October 2021: I originally sat for the test on Saturday when it was interrupted and I waited 2 hours to be told it was going to be rescheduled. The test I originally had was 2 LG sections, which is my strongsuit, and the easier RC section. When I retook the test, I got back to back RC sections with the scored section (Mali and Paternalism) being the second of the two, as well as the Duets logic game.

I got the same score as my Sep 2019 test...

I just feel like all the tests have been stacked against me and it is so frustrating when some tests feel so unfair. I have been PTing in the low 170s but have had awful luck during all of my actual LSATs. Am I just being dramatic?

How do I stay motivated when it just feels like I'll never get a fair test administration?

Hi everyone,

I will be going over the CC for the second time in a much more thorough way. I wanted to know y'all's thoughts on when to incorporate PTs and study groups.

Currently, my average is a 155 (best PT being a 157) so I am going back to reallllly learn the fundamentals again. Being that I have some fundamentals already down, I am not sure if I should be PTing while doing the CC again or if I should wait to PT (and have a study group BRing PTs) until after I finish the CC. I'd appreciate y'all's insight.

Due to technical issues I honestly expected my score to be a heartbreak. Turned out to be a 163.

It still is a heartbreak, in a way, because I had regularly been PT'ing at around 170, my goal score, and my last PT before the test (the morning of the test in fact) was a 173.

I put this partly down to test day nerves but the vast majority down to the extreme anxiety caused by Proctor U. Like many others, I was sitting on my hands for close to an hour due to a 'technical problem' not on my end between the 2nd and 3rd sections.

Still, getting an 84th percentile score even in the worst test conditions possible (at least I hope it could not be worse) has honestly given me a lot of confidence for November, which I am thankful I registered for. I want a 170 and feel better about getting there now. Thanks in big part to 7sage whose materials and guidance was the biggest factor in my score lift by far.

Confirm action
