Hey guys! What is everyone's plan for test day and the week leading up to the test? Will you warm up before the real deal or save your mental energy for the exam? Also, how intense have you studied during the week before the test? TIA!

Hey 7Sagers!
Been a bit MIA on the forums the last month or so but came back to see a lot of test anxiety posts and questions being asked on the forum. I took the June LSAT (awaiting results thanks to writing complications) so I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding test day or really anything LSAT related! I might not have all the answers but I did a pretty heavy amount of researching test day requirements and ProctorU requirements leading up to my exam so hopefully I can answer most of your questions. If anything, it'll be a space for all you to see you're not the only one anxious and stressed about test day :)
Hope to you see there!

HI! I’m looking for a study buddy who is -4 on RC/LR and -0/-1 on LG and looking to take the test in Oct/Nov (I can’t give scores because I haven’t take a full test in a while!!). I’m pretty far along in my studying, have already taken the test once, and am being tutored. Just looking for someone to study/be accountable with. Thanks!
Looking for a reliable LR/RC Tutor! Plan on taking the November test. I would like to do 2-3 one hour sessions weekly. I am located on the West Coast. Looking to start as soon as possible. Please contact me if you have immediate openings. Please reach out to me via dm here!

I would appreciate a thorough explanation on this one. I understand how B doesn't agree with the Politician but I don't see how it agrees with the biologist or whatever - Appreciate anything that can make it more clear! I ended up with D but B was the answer.
I’m honestly afraid I’ll fail. I feel confident when I’m doing little drills but when I know I have to take a prep test to evaluate my progress, I’m scared. I don’t know if anyone here feels the same. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to get over test anxiety. Thank you
I just wanted to seek advice from anyone who started with a lower diagnostic who was able to achieve high 160s-170s.
How did you do it???
I would love some advice as to how you got there and what were some of your "ah-ha" moments?
I'm taking the test in two days. The score will not be released until September. The next test date is in October. Should I still study during August-September if I plan on retaking if I am not satisfied with my score? For reference, I already paid for the whole month of August already.
I’ve really been making strides the past two weeks. I’ve gotten my BR score from a month ago on a timed LSAT. How can I jump into the 170’s? Is it purely taking PT’s? Or am I at a point I need to take a more niche course? I think I have LG and mostly RC locked down, and have a couple of questions in each LR that scramble my brain like Sunday morning breakfast. Advice and/or jokes are highly appreciated.
Hi all,
I have already taken an LSAT Flex test from last October and there was 1 minute breaks in between sections. Does anyone know if there will be 1 minute in between sections on the August test? I know between the 2nd and 3rd section there is a 10 minute break, but I can not find out about the 1 minute. It sounds minuscule but the minute helps me reset my brain for the next section. Thanks you!
Is taking the October test and then possibly the November test for a retake too late too apply for the fall 2022 cycle?
I took the June 2021 test and the reading and logical reasoning didn't seem too bad, but the logic games seemed very difficult to me. I'm taking August test next week so overall how do you guys predict the games section on the August 2021 will be in comparison? What about the entire test in general? Also the curve for the June test lowered a lot of people's scores, do you guys think the curve will be more in our favor for August?
Hello there :D
A couple weeks ago, I started a poll over practice test input. One of the questions that I asked was, "Should I start with practice test 70+?"
The survey showed
48.39% YES
51.61 % NO
As I read through some discussions, I see that some scores are decreasing. I can't help but think that this might be MAYBE because there is a difference between the old and new LSATs. The LSAT has definitely evolved. Some people say that there is a difference between old exams VS. modern exams. Not a large amount but enough to notice on their overall score. As we all know, EVERY point matters haha. I wanted to share this with you all because I would be extremely upset if I started at lets say, PT 15 and once I got to PT 70 I had to learn completely new strategies because they are a little different. I think that for drilling questions, it's fine to use old PT. Where else are we going to get enough questions to drill like 100 on each topic, right? Slowly dying... we're okay... we got this... lol
Obviously I am not an expert. I haven't completed PT1- the most recent. Just wanted to share this information that I have collected.
Hi,
I am writing my LSAT on Tuesday, but I am a bit confused about the process. Am i supposed to download the proctor myself before hand, like right now, or are they going to send it to me.
How am I going to access my test on the day?
Would someone please not mind explaining it to me??
Thank you
Hello everyone I'm currently having a panic attack. My LSAT diagnostic was terrible, I'm under quite a bit of pressure from my parents to take the October exam and Im really trying to figure out the best study plan. So far I've been studying anywhere from 6-8 hours a day and really want to use my time as effectively as possible to get the best score and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I truly believe I can score a 180 (-0) on this test and want to find a study partner with similar delusions.
Necessary Conditions:
currently in the 170s
looking for a study partner
perfection as your goal
can commit to two zoom meetings a week and honor that commitment
taking the October LSAT
If this is you, send me a pm.
Hi! My name is Olivia and I just began studying again to retake the LSAT in October 2021, I’m hoping to improve my score from my previous LSAT in January 2021. Myself and two other 7sage contacts have a study group and are looking to see if anyone else would like to join us for accountability, help, support etc.
I am practice scoring just above the mid 160's and would like to get to solid high 160's by the October LSAT. If anyone taking the October LSAT is interested and scoring around the same range let me know through 7sage messages and I’ll add you to our What’sApp!
In this example:
True Premise: A --> B
True Premise: B --> C
Inference: A--> B --> C
Is the inference a valid conclusion? Or is it just like a mundane re statement or the premises? Is it even an inference?
A --> C would of course be a valid and true inference or conclusion (depending on argument setup), right?
Question 1:
For premise: A --> B
Are all of the following valid inferences?
A -m-> B
A -s- B
-B --> -A
-B -m-> -A
-B -s- -A
Question 2:
For premise: A --> B --> C
Is the following necessarily false?
A --> -C
Question 3:
From premise A --> B --> C is there any inference we can make that is necessarily false?
Does anyone here have their August LSAT exam scheduled for the early morning of 8/14?
I have already scheduled my exam for 8 am on 8/15, however, due to some family emergency, I will be flying an international flight on the night of 8/14, and be occupied thereafter. Therefore, the morning of 8/14 will be the only day for me to take the August exam.
However, all the 8/14 test sessions are now full on Proctor U. I wonder if anyone here is scheduled for 8/14 and is so kind to be willing to trade time session with me? I am so sorry to trouble you guys here, but I really cannot think of another way to solve this time conflict.
Just talking about this with a friend. My test should be about this time next Tuesday. I've planned two full PTs under time between now and then, and to keep shoring up weaknesses in LG, plus do a few timed sections each day, critically BRing. What is your plan?
It went from PreOrder on Amazon to sold out within a few hours of the supposed release date. I’m sure there aren’t many paper versions in print given the required access to LawHub and digital test for the majority of test takers. I’m wondering if anyone actually got it?
In desperate need of a fresh PT to gauge where I’m at.
Thanks!
Looking for study buddies for October 2021 test to commit at least twice during the week and once over the weekend.
Working full time and available for evenings, EST time preferable. Currently still going through the Core Curriculum, if some of you are interested let me know.
Does anyone know if there's a filter to look for sets vs. supersets type questions? Or is there a place in the core curriculum that deals with these issues? I'm not talking about just the valid vs. invalid inferences from existential relationships, but more like the more recent PT questions that have stimuli like "most mammal species of ... are not, but most individual mammals are ..."
Does anyone have any advice on how to systematically (with a process) attack these problems? I usually do them based on my intuition, but I find that can just be very nerve-wracking. Sometimes, I draw circles/Venn diagrams, too, but I never quite know what to do with them/it's hard for me to infer anything from them.
Hi! I am taking the august test using LSAC's loaner tablet. Does anyone have experience taking the test with it? It can both stand or just rest on the table, does the proctor care in terms of how we set it up? I am wondering how the proctor will see me if it's resting on the table. Also can we use ctrl f on this device?
