Hi everyone,

I am hoping to write either the July or August 2021 LSAT, I would love to have a study/accountability partner throughout this process. My target score is a 168 and so far I have completed around 30% of the CC. I am aiming to finish the CC by late March/early April to have 5-6 months just to do practice tests. If anyone is interested in having an accountability partner, shoot me a message.

Hi there, #help please

How would you contra-pose MOST?:

X --most-- Y

would it be:

Y --most-- X

OR

Y←some→X

As an example: PT45.S4.Q16

  • Not happy unless needed by others
  • Most people can achieve indispensability ONLY within family.
  • H ----> NO
  • NO ---most---> F
  • contra-positive of 2:

  • F ---most--->NO
  • OR

  • F←some→NO
  • Both would give us answer choice (E), Less than most people can find happiness outside of personal relationships

    Thanks!

    Hey,

    I wanted to ask about the Ultimate+ subscription I have got. I am considering whether it would be better for me to shift to yearly/monthly or keep paying for the monthly package I have (honestly seems much cheaper). I am trying to figure out the LSAT pre plus, I know its 99 dollars/year but I am not sure if 7sage provided me with it for a year only or if it will be automatically renewed for me? will i have to pay 99 dollars later on? and how do I know the exact expiry date?

    Sorry about all the questions, Thanks for the help in advance

    Hello! I am having trouble with when to chain statements and when to not. I am doing PT61.S4.Q25

    Stimulus: There can be no individual freedom without the rule of law, for there is no individual freedom without social integrity, and pursuing the good life is not possible without social integrity.

    My question:

    Do I chain the first two statements? or are they separate and cannot be chained?

    A) Individual Freedom ---> Rule of Law ---> Social Integrity

    OR

    B)

    Individual Freedom ---> Rule of Law

    Individual Freedom ---> Social Integrity

    How do you know when it should be chained vs when it should be individual?

    Hi all,

    I'm hosting a law school/LSAT info session for the interns where I work and I have a question for the group.

    Can/should people still use prep books (e.g. the Powerscore Bibles, the LSAT Trainer) as their sole resources to prep? Given that the LSAT is digital and Prep Plus exists, I wonder if prep books are now more useful as supplements to an online course like 7Sage. I, for instance, used the Loophole as a supplement. I know Powerscore has a stand alone PT and analytics tool that's similar to 7Sage's that you could pair with prep books but that doesn't strike me as a good bargain considering that there are some very affordable online courses (7Sage, Magoosh, Manhattan (surprisingly)).

    Thoughts?

    Hi, I wanted to invite anyone who is taking the Feb/March LSAT to a study group discord! A lot of the people on there are shooting for 170s. We are currently going over PTs in the 70s and 80s and BR-ing those together, but you can also just use it as a space to BR individual sections wherever you are in the curriculum. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you the link!

    I am really bad at Point at Issue and Flaw questions. I have drilled them over and over again, and yet they are the questions I consistently miss every time. I have familiarized myself with an exhaustive list of flaw types. But I just cannot seem to pick out the right flaw, or match it to the answer choices. With Point at Issue, I just never am able to choose between 2-3 ACs that look pretty close. Any advice?? How do you reliably approach these problems?

    I am still on cloud nine, but I got my first admissions notification today.

    In addition, to being accepted, I was awarded a full scholarship!

    I am not a traditional applicant - it has taken me 9 years to finish my undergraduate degree and my GPA is sub 3.0 - when I first took the LSAT in 2017 I scored a 143.

    Had it not have been for 7sage I would never have been able to increase my score so drastically and I doubt I would've been even seriously considered at any law school.

    I never once entertained the idea of getting a scholarship - I thought that I would be lucky if any law school would look past my GPA and the various academic probations and dismissals that went along with my nine year journey.

    Thank you to the whole 7sage team and especially my editor Ethan!

    I wouldn't be here without you all.

    I just took the January LSAT this past week. Scores don't come out til Feb. 3. Is applying this late to schools going to drastically decrease my chances of getting in? Should I wait until the next cycle or is it worth it to still apply now?

    Hi everyone,

    I just checked the status of my writing sample on the LSAC portal and it says "Exam Initiated". However, I have already completed my writing test. Should it say something like "Exam Submitted/Completed" (ie something went wrong with submitting my writing sameple) or does the status remain at "Exam Initiated" until it is reviewed and approved? I know this is a very specific quesition, but please let me know if anyone has an answer! Thanks!

    I have a question on wording.

    If a statement says something along the lines of: Physics students are more likely to do well on the LSAT than Chemistry Students.

    Does this indicate correlation or causation? Specifically, what does the phrase "more likely" mean on the LSAT in such contexts.

    Another question: As "x" increases, y increases. --> does this indicate correlation or causation?

    I have been so confused on this. Thank you so much

    I'm currently a second semester senior at my undergraduate university. My university offers a program to "senior underload" where you can take fewer than the required number of credit hours your last semester if you don't need the additional credits to graduate. I am planning on applying to law school in one or two years and was wondering if anyone knew if underloading would look bad on my transcript for top law schools? I don't know why it would because it just saves money (pay reduced tuition) and time but someone (unqualified) once told me that it would seem like you were slacking on courses so I'm really not sure what to think! I would appreciate any insight or advice!

    Question

    I already have the super prep plus through LSAC. I want to purchase the $69 monthly subscription without the plus. How do I integrate what I purchased through LSAC into the purchase from 7Sage? In other words, do I need two (2) computers, one for the prep and the other for 7Sage? Sorry, I’m an older student.

    heads up

    I was just listening to a school's webinar and the rep from LSAC mentioned that information about upcoming post-April LSATs is forthcoming in the next two weeks.

    Hello! I'm taking my first LSAT ever this April and want to be sure that I'm well-prepped equipment/tech wise. Quite a few people mentioned they had tech issues using a Mac with ProctorU and this is making me extremely NERVOUS!

    Can you please share your experience and any tips/insight you have? I wonder if I need to borrow a PC laptop from someone for exam day. Thank you!

    I logged into my study schedule today and it looked noticeably different than it did yesterday. It jumped from 912 hours of content to 1368 hours. 4 weeks now have no content and the week of February 8 has 493 hours of content (456 is PrepTests 1-35 - Drilling Materials). The dates I'm using is December 17, 2020 - April 9, 2021. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Hey guy. If any of you had issues with proctoru, you can file a test complaint through LSAC. I for example, was interrupted by my proctor and she did not pause my time and I lost time. I already filed the complaint. They said after the investigation, i might be able to get a retake next Thursday or in February. If any of you had a similar experience, file a complaint if you are not happy with your performance.
