Hello everyone! I took the August Flex as my first LSAT attempt, and so I have the option to preview my score before deciding whether to keep or cancel the score. I did very badly and am quite disappointed, will definitely be retaking it but I was wondering if there was any negatives for law schools if I do cancel the score? There seems to be some type of popular consensus to not cancel the score but considering this is a new feature I figured I'd just ask! I'd appreciate any advice or recommendations, thank you!

So I’m hoping to take the November LSAT and then apply to UCLA. I’ve been trying to do some research to see what score I should be aiming for to realistically have a chance at getting in (My gpa is a 3.7 I believe). Looking online has shown the median LSAT score to be anywhere from 160-170 and I was wondering if anyone here knew of a more precise number to aim for as my minimum?

PT 63/ LR 7/ (C)

I fully understand why (B) is an answer, but I think (C) is also plausible.

The argument is talking about 'symptom' and (A), (B), (D) and (E) are about 'symptom'.

(C) is about 'host animal' not 'symptom'. Isn't it flawed?

So I set an alarm to get up just before 1 AM local time to register for a time for the October LSAT Flex as soon as registration became available. At 1:10 AM local time I got the email, immediately created a Proctor U account and tried to register for a time. No times available anywhere within a 6 hourish range. I asked for chat support to schedule me a time. I specified noon local time on the 8th. I was given the option of the 9th at 730ism AM, or late night on the 8th so that I would be taking the exam after midnight locally. How are they this unprepared? I registered for neither and am trying to contact LSAC, but I can not reach them by Skype on the phone since they have blocked Skype number so no resolution thus far. It is now 2:15 in the morning and I have work tomorrow. Still trying to figure out what to do. This is unacceptable.

I've recently made my way into the PT70s, and I so far I've been scoring in the lower 160s and BR in the high 160s. This is freaking me out a bit, since in previous PTs I've managed to average in the high 160s, and even a couple 170s. I'm taking the October Flex, and it's only a couple of weeks away. So if I'm doing something wrong, I need to figure it out now.

I think so far my biggest issue here is with LG and RC, since at least for LR I've been quite consistent with getting -4 and -5s. For LG, however, I've found that the PT70s have more unconventional LGs, and that often makes me unable to finish all the games on time. As for RC, I'm either going through the passages too fast and missing some questions, or I'm too slow and failing to finish the section on time. Either way, I think time is the biggest limiting factor on my LG/RC performance.

That being said, are there any tips on pacing or increasing performance on RC? I didn't go through with the RC Core Curriculum because I joined 7Sage later in my prep. process, so I might have missed something from these videos. Anything helps! Thanks!

Hello everyone,

In college courses, I had a 3.95 GPA (higher if you count courses taken at other universities over the summer). Unfortunately, during my senior year of high school, I found myself very depressed. Due to this, I didn't try as hard as I should've (I couldn't) and got bad grades in college in the high school courses. Thus my LSAC GPA is only a 3.85. Will admissions have encountered this situation before and simply weight the college courses more?

Hi everyone !

I have been study for the LSAT for the past eight months. I noticed a lot of improvement with LG & LR. I’m very frustrated though because I’m capable of getting a -2 on LG & a -5 on LR but every time I take a practice test , it’s like these months of studying have not been showing up, but the thing is that I’m capable of doing the questions !! I just cannot do it under timing conditions & it’s making me so angry. I don’t know what to do at this point , I feel like everything I have been studying hasn’t paid off , yet it has because I see improvement , just not with time. If anyone has any advice on what I should do, please tell me. I am just frustrated at this point.

Hi all!

I'm registered for Nov LSAT thought I would be in US by last week.

But the situation has changed and apparently I'm not in states.

Is it available to take a test for US/Canada but from outside of those countries?

Please share your info!

Hey everyone!

So I am registered for the October Flex, and the signup process begins tomorrow. The days available are Saturday the 3rd, Sunday the 4th, Tuesday the 6th, or Thursday the 8th. Anyone have any advice on which day to pick (i.e. to avoid longer wait times, any other relevant factors I should consider)? Thanks!

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on how to spend the last 2 weeks before the LSAT? Should I focus on reviewing more or doing as many PTs as possible? I have only taken 9 PTs and my highest score was a 161 which is what I am aiming for at the very least. I'm very anxious about taking the test in 2 weeks so any advice would be very appreciated!!

Hi guys! Quick question. November will be my first time taking the LSAT and I understand they watch you via camera? Are you allowed to have a beer while taking the test? Having one around relaxes me and significantly improves my score!

Hello,

I am registered for the LSAT Flex on October 3rd. I have read that the test will either be on that saturday, sunday, tuesday, or thursday. But does anyone know when LSAC will let us know exactly what day/time we are assigned to? Im confused as to whether I should be expecting something from them, and if so when? Any information would greatly help! Thanks :)

Hello! I took the August FLEX test and decided I would like to keep that score for my applications. I am registered for October (as this was my first LSAT, I had no idea what to expect), but would like to withdraw so I can spend more time on my essays and maintaining my GPA.

If I was to withdraw, does the fact I registered for October appear anywhere on my transcript? I have received one email for a school already wishing me luck on the October test, so I'm aware that the information is out there. However, when my app is reviewed by the admissions officers, does the October registration appear anywhere?

Thank you very much!

I started the core curriculum in June and finished it just about a week and a half ago. I took a PT for the first time since my diagnostic which was several months ago and only scored 4 points higher, which is baffling to me. I did almost all of the problem sets on the LR CC (would skip some if I felt like I truly got it), and genuinely couldn't believe I was at roughly the same score in the mid 140s still several months later.

I started to run out of time near the end and skipped through fool-proofing all of the logic games in the CC. I was only able to fool proof the first two sets of sequencing games problems, the first two sets of in/out games problems and only one of the grouping games. I was able to grasp the general concepts in the beginning of both of Sequencing + In/Out in the syllabus, but when the curriculum starts diving into Sequencing games w/ a twist and in/out games with sub-categories, I am lost.

I guess now I don't know what to do. I absorbed what I believed to be a significant amount of information for LR, but got almost an identical score to my diagnostics. RC is my best section. I am hoping to test in November which is approx 6 weeks away but have no idea how to pull off the remainder of my studying.

One immediate thought that comes to mind is to drill the questions I get incorrectly the most utilizing the question analysis type tool until my accuracy is 100%. Another I have in mind is to take several practice tests a week and BR each one? I didn't focus much on RC because I felt it was already very intuitive for me. I'm not sure if it's even worth drilling compared to the other sections right now. I have some books like the LR loophole and the LSAT trainer that I didn't use much and considered reviewing to supplement my LR..? How many PT's should I even be taking weekly from now until then? Is it worth reading other books or just reviewing 7sage?

I apologize if this sounds desperate I'm just very anxious knowing my score isn't what at all I thought it'd be by now and the stress has jumped several levels. I don't even need a 180, I just want to at least get to the higher 150's as my goal score. If someone could recommend a gameplan here I would appreciate any and all insight as I'm being pulled in different directions on what to do.

Thank you all.

Hi everyone :)

To keep it short, I took the July LSAT-Flex exam and experienced multiple Internet outages and proctor interruptions. For some reason, I decided not to cancel my score and ended up with a 158, well below my PT average. By August, I invested in an ethernet cable to fix my spotty internet and had a much better proctor situation. Ended up with a 170, within my average. Should I write an addendum explaining a 12 point jump in 2 months? If so, should I basically just say I had technical issues, fixed them, and now my score reflects what I can do?

I’m currently scheduled for the October LSAT but after much consideration I’ve decided to postpone for the November test. Per the LSAC website, test date changes must be made through my account but I’m not sure what I should be looking for and how to complete the process. The test date reschedule deadline is Friday so, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
