I've been drilling questions for LR, and I just let the 7sage system decide what questions to pick for me. I was wondering if the way the drill chooses what questions to recommend for a future drill is by 1) adding more questions of the type I have answered wrong and 2) adding more questions of the type I have spent a long time on. I feel like I see a lot of the same questions types (weaken, parallel flaw, etc) and I just wanted to make sure that it's not because the system is just giving me more questions that I spend a lot of time on. I just worry if I am not getting enough practice with the other question types. I know I can just drill by type, but I would rather have a mix that the system chooses.

I took an offer test, 111, on lawhub and scored 13/26,17/25,16/26 with a raw score of 46. Lawhub is saying I got a 149 but when I enter my raw score on sites it says 152,153. Which is it???
I know i need to study more
I have almost completed the Foundations Section and wonder when is a good time to start taking practice tests. I have heard from numerous people that regularly taking practice tests is what really helped them improve their score. Any advice on when to start taking them, how often, etc. is much appreciated!
Like the title suggests, I want to try to give myself more time with the harder questions.
I was thinking of moving my 10 Lr in 10 minutes to 15 in 15, leaving 20 minutes for 16-25.
My new strategy would be:
1-15 in 15 mins (1 min per)
16-22 in 13 mins (1:50 per)
23-25 + Review in 7 mins (1:30 per question, accounting for the PFs/PRs, and 2:30 mins for review, which could be alloted to 1-15 or 16022 if they're especially challenging)
Is there a way to still have the blind review setting on without having the recommendations for which questions to BR? I want to practice my confidence in reviewing questions but it's difficult when this setting basically tells me what I need to BR. Thank you!
I completed a PT on July 12 and got a 156, since then I have taken 3 more and got a 151, 152, and yesterday a 146. Has this happened to anyone else and has any idea why this could be happening to me? My diagnostic was a 148 and I find it very bizarre that I scored lower on yesterdays PT. Anyways, I am open to any advice that can help me!!
Would someone be able to provide me with some of the nuances and strategies needed when tackling link assumption questions. I seem to uniquely struggle with them on my tests and cannot find specific resources for how to approach them. I figure some sort of my mindset is incorrect but I have yet to be able to figure out what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I recently started studying and I'm signing up for the November Exam. For taking practice exams, would it be better for me to complete the whole curriculum first? Or do people usually take the practice exams/drills at the same time?
Not a super strong test taker, so I'm looking for the best way to manage my time!!
Hi yall, is there an option to print whole PTs. I only get the option to start and import PTs but no option to download a PDF version.
Today I scored a 161/162 for the 5th time in 10 PTs, most of my others have been about the same range, 159/160. Today's 161 was the best I've done on a PT across all 4 sections, -6 (RC), -4 (LR), -6 (LR), -6 (LR). To get a 165+, you need to get 14 or less incorrect; Today was -18 (-6 x 3), but was the best cumulative 4 section score I've gotten. I have found myself improving drastically in drilling, following close to target time results, I'll do drills of my weakest type, 4 and 5 star NA/SA/Weakening, and get very, very few wrong. But when it comes time to test, I feel like I find it very hard to get the 5 star Q's right, in drilling I have no problem with them (comparatively). Still, maybe due to the mental fatigue of an entire section, I find myself getting almost every question (~90-95% accuracy 1-4 stars) right up until the 5 stars, and then have my sections fall apart (specifically in LR) from 17-25. What should I do to remedy this? I drill 15 LRs and aim for ~18-20 minutes target time, and 2 passage RCs ~17-19 minutes target time.
What did others do to break out of this pre-165 bump. I take the august in 2 weeks, my hope is that I can put it all together before then and get a 165, if not, my more reasonable test for this achievement is september.
I know of some LSAT demon strategies, that I've read recently, where some people say go for 100% accuracy, guess on the last, this is surely interesting. But I've been trying to do, and do successfully, 10 questions in 10 minutes, and then 15 in 25. I think I'm going to change my strategy to 15 questions in 15 minutes, and then leave 20 for the last 10, as I feel myself needlessly dragging my feet through 11-15.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Hey y'all! I recently took a PT and got 166 on the first take and 176 on BR. I think this disparity is because I go way too fast through the questions and end up making dumb mistakes. I try to remind myself to go slow while taking the test, but it never seems to help. Any tips on how to slow yourself down and ensure you are fully thinking through the questions?
Timing seems to be my biggest issue, because when I blind review I do vastly better than during a timed test. What are tips for improving timing or ways to study which improve timing.
Anyone have any reading comprehension tips or advice that helped you answer the questions more accurately?
Is there anyway to "mute" some of my older PTs so I can see a more updated list of my priorities? I don't necessarily want to delete the older ones - I just want to see my weak areas now vs. then
Hi all, I am taking the lsat in september, and i am scoring in the low 160's rn. I am looking to create a virtual study group to meet everyday for 4 hours, where we can study, and exchange tips/ tricks. Please let me know if you are interested:)
Would be down to hop on zoom and do some drill questions !
Suppose the stimulus to a parallel reasoning question was something along the lines of:
A⊃B
B⊃C
C⊃D
A,
Therefore D.
And one of the answer choices read:
W⊃X
X⊃Y
~Z⊃~Y,
W,
Therefore Z.
The sentence '~Z⊃~Y' is the contrapositive of Y⊃Z, and so just as the first argument is valid, so too is the second. But I was wondering if, in a parallel reasoning question, they will ever give an answer choice that utilizes the contrapositive.
Sorry for my poor ability to formulate a question.
After getting 177-180 consistently on my PT, I got a 172 on a 2024 LSAT. Now I'm back to studying for Sept 2025 and am scoring in the 177-180 range on all my PTs again. Wondering how I can best use this time to ensure that I don't have the same test day performance drop? Any advice appreciated
Greetings 7Sagers!
This Thursday, July 24 at 8pm ET, join 7Sage admissions consultants Taj McCoy and Dr. Sam Riley for another panel discussion with law school admissions deans from across the country. I took the LSAT in June and got a 168 which was well below not only my best score, but also what I had been averaging. I’m taking it again in August and I’ve been taking roughly 3 prep tests every 2 weeks since getting my score back. The first one I took after taking a break I got a 176 and then after that 175. Then my last two have been 172 and 169. They’ve all been about the same difficulty and none of them are drastically different in age. I noticed a similar pattern before my first LSAT where it seemed like I was just getting worse with each prep test, including getting my worst score since I first started studying in February a few days before the test (166). Should I stop taking prep tests altogether?
Today the sign up for the august lsat opens, but the remote option which i am taking does not open till july 24/25th, i signed up for strongly preferred remote, will I get an email when the remote scheduling opens? Or will i get an email every time a new day opens remote and in person? Or do i not get an email at all and have to do something else? I dont want to miss it
Hi! I'm taking the August and September test and am stuck in the jump between the 160s to the 170s. I would love to make a group chat of people to help keep each other motivated and on track, talk about tough questions, or just talk LSAT in general. I feel like I'm trying to become fluent in a new language (LSAT Language) and have no one to speak it with lol. If you feel u want a group like that too, lmk!
Hi everyone,
I am writing to create a study group of individuals who are super motivated and willing to put in the actual work and accountability to meeting and studying.
We will be meeting 2-3x a week ideally, via zoom or discord.
Looking to form a group for people that are scoring 155+
If interested please let me know and I will form a group, I will be capping it around 10-15 members
Is there a consolidated list of all the Miros in the Core Curriculum? I know there were a bunch, but I don't think I can go through every lesson again to find them.
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has been studying for the LSAT on and off and is currently scoring in the 130s on practice tests. A few months ago, I took a practice test and scored a 135, but I’ve been hesitant to take another one since. I’m feeling a bit stuck and would love to connect with others who are in a similar place or who’ve been there before. Are there any beginner-friendly study groups you’d recommend or are currently part of?
Thanks in advance!
