If it's for Duke, it may be too late. I asked an admissions officer point-blank during an information session and he flat-out told me spots will be full by December.
Can you elaborate a little bit? Does that mean Nov is too…

Wait, so the book is incorrect?
The LSAT industrial complex produces not an insignificant amount of incorrect info w/r/t LSAC's official tests & style

First major improvements I made were from fool-proofing LGs until I was making all the inferences when I saw a new game. It's really like learning a new language and that's why for some of us it takes a long time. Once you get your LG …
Don't let anyone tell you that studying for 3-5 months isn't sufficient. Some people do this for years, some people can get a 170+ after a month. I've been at it for 4 months and went from ~150, totally clueless about how to do LG, etc, to PT-ing at…
@stmj3467 I had the same experience, really freaked me out. Having to click around to get back to your previous LG answers. And what really made me furious was the fact that even the default answers shown when you come to a new question on LR are B,…
Unless my score goes up 6/7 pts I'll have to wait until year to apply. But in principle it's not too late. Depends on the caliber of the school and if it's a reach for you.
I just did 2-3 PTs a day for the last four days - probably a mistake, scores got increasingly worse. Just a warning to everyone - fool proofing and drilling are better strategies. Pls write me if you have more to suggest.
Same thing happened when I simulated the Flex settings on Lawhub today. I immediately took another (back to back) because I've been scoring 168-170 and on the Flex I wound up with a 160. Second test got another 160. Very miserable feeling. Wat do...
I'm also doing it out of order b/c I need to work on certain things more than others. If you do have the time, I would recommend doing it in order though. This isn't the best method.
Same here! Taking in Nov and exactly 4-5 below what I need/want. I'm doing the fool proof LG method to pick up those pts because I'm not at 0/-1 yet. Also taking about a PT a day when possible after work. Lmk if you want to partner up somehow.
I second what @cmurphy said. Some days the speed and clarity with which I can read questions is drastically different from others. I would see it as a potential which is entirely achievable, and would be thrilled if I were you.
Same here. I was searching the forums for more info from other students about this but am still unsure. I can score high 170s every time with BR but mid- (sometimes low- depending on 3rd and 4th LG) 160s under times constraints. Probably going to co…
