I am taking the LSAT in January and am a bit confused as to whether I should be checking simulate flex for thepreptests? Should I be taking all 4 sections instead?
Can someone explain to me the reason why, when you click the "Simulate Flex" option on thepreptests, an entire section disappears..? I went to take the diagnostic LSAT Prep Test 2007 and the entire section 03 unselects.

As @Pacifico said, skip around, don't save all the newest tests for last. Also, not everyone thinks the newer tests are moredifficult. I didn't find them to be any harder than the earlier ones, it could be the same for you.
