If you truly feel that you can improve on the Jan. test then I say go for it. Even an improvementfrom a 168 to a 170 is worth it. You can still apply in January, go for it!

I don’t think anyone can give you great advice without more info. When are you wanting to take the LSAT? How much of an improvementfrom your current average are you hoping to have?
I’m 39 and had no LORs from profs. I had two higher ranking colleagues and a client. I was accepted to 4 schools (GW, ASU, Seton Hall, Rutgers). If you’re out of school a while, you do not LOR from profs.
