I can remember literally every answer when I take a PT and it annoys the crap out of me. I like my memory because it helps me in RC but not when it comes to reviewing old PTs!!!!!!
I've read on other forums that previous make-up tests have included the old one-page LG set-up, so I'm mentally preparing for that possibility. There's no way to know beforehand!
The Economist. Subscribe to it and actually read the articles! I heard that they take out passages out of some of the really old subscriptions. If you read the articles from it, you'll definitely see the similarity with the LSAT passages!
I remember my old lsat prep course providing us a percentages pie chart of all the question types. I believe assumption types are probably the most prevalent.
That's odd. I found that I did significantly better on older PTs than newer ones. I did a batch of old PTs to begin with and once I started the new ones (with comparative RC passages), my score dropped by 4-5 points.
I love comparative reading passages! LG are easier in the new ones than the old ones that is for sure. and RC is much harder I agree with this too.
How did you guys find the dec 2013 lsat? If you purchased it on here I mean.
Old LSATs with proper blind review are beneficial in combination with those that you have not done. Repeating some questions actually helps cement reasoning patterns. Old games are especially good.
I could concur with the above posters, but I would note that if it's been a while since you've looked at an old backtest, it might benefit you to take it again. At least, that's been my experience.
Figure out a "warm up routine" to get you to the state of accuracy that you are in which enables you to hit the 170 during BR - it might mean some drills, it might mean reviewing old tests.
