That can be a product of having improved over the course of taking them consecutively, but if you skiparound you can get a better feel for how different they really are.
Don't skiparound. Some of the longer passages are actually easier than the shorter ones. Similarly, some of the science passages are easier than the law passages. Your best bet is to complete RC in the regular order.

You can skiparound, there's no need to go in chronological order. The biggest difference in my opinion is better trap ACs and more subtle correct ACs, especially in RC.
As @Pacifico said, skiparound, don't save all the newest tests for last. Also, not everyone thinks the newer tests are more difficult. I didn't find them to be any harder than the earlier ones, it could be the same for you.
